Maya (With heavy breaths): Thamma...Joy...Thamma...Joy...(When her Thamma wiped her tears and tried calming her down when Maya took her phone to call his number)

She anxiously waited but none picked up the call...

Maya (with a horrified expression): Thamma..O phone tulche na...(Thamma...he is not picking up the call).

Thamma: Try Arnab's number...

Maya immediately did what her Thamma said..praying silently that nothing wrong had happened to "Him".

Arnab Ghosh (Jay's childhood friend now his colleague...both studied together...got trained together and may be luck was in their favor that both got appointed in the same department. Around 8 months before... Jay took over the team as a Lead for his extraordinary skills and bravery which Arnab appreciated with a big smile..after all he always considered Jay as his Brother...)

A surprised Arnab looked at his caller id...

Arnab: Boudi...(Sister in law, Vadina, Bhabhi)

Maya (With a shaky voice): Arnab...Joy thik ache? (Is Joy Alright?)

Arnab (Almost started stammering): Err...Boudiii..Mane...( Sis in law..actually...)

Maya (Gritting her teeth): Don't you dare to lie to me like last time...

Arnab (Hesitantly): Boudi..he is fine...a bit scratches here and there...(Assuring her) Nothing serious...(As she sighed a relief)

Maya: Kothay tomra..(Where are you Guys now?) [She checked the time that showed it's 4.20 in the morning)

Arnab (Checking the time and cursing Jay profusely..): Boudi we were about to leave for home...it's just...

Maya: It's okay..Arnab...you don't owe me any explanation...Just ask him to take a tetanus within 24 hours...(While talking she didn't realize that the phone is now someone else's hand)

From the other side (With a smirk): You could have told it to him directly...

And she heard "Him"...she could not remember after how many days...she heard "His voice"...

He could hear her "silent sobbing"...he knows her...every time he's in danger..she gets to sense it through her nightmares..and today is no exception.

Both were absolutely silent..when he could hear her silent hiccups..she could hear his long deep breath...

After sometime...

Jay (Tenderly): Shona....kichu hoyni amar...(Shona....nothing has happened to me) (Shona is the bengali meaning of "Bangaram"😋❤️)

Before he could say anything more...she cut the call...he was not surprised...he knew this was coming as "He knows her"..

She directly went into her Thamma's arms to soothe her burning soul..she was not a weak person to shed her tears every now and then..this deep fear inside her started killing her slowly..

Thamma (Patting her hair and too in tears): Why are you punishing yourself like this? You don't deserve this my child...

Maya (Facing her with red eyes): I deserve this, Thamma...I absolutely deserve this...for loving him unconditionally..(With determined voice and wiping her tears) But NOT ANYMORE!!!

Arnab: It's still a mystery to me...

Jay (absentmindedly) What?

Arnab: How come Boudi gets to know whenever you are injured or we are in almost dead end..

Jay (Checking his phone, a smile crossed his face as he saw a missed call from her who vowed not to call him anymore): She only decides and she only breaks it...

Arnab: What?

Jay: Nothing...before Meena kills you...let me drop you off..

Arnab (Sighing): She would be sleeping like a pig 😫 (Holding his heart) Not everyone can be like Boudi..talk it out with her, Man...solve it...

Jay: If she is ready to listen to me....

Arnab: Why will she listen to you...have you ever listened to her...?

Jay's phone started ringing...

Jay: Hain Kaku (Yes Uncle)...I will be there within a hour...No no..I have spare keys...see you..

Jay to Arnab: Let's move...

Arnab: See I know a good tea stall here...it's almost 5.15...let's have some tea and leave...

Jay needed to divert his mind too as it was still stuck on "Her" and he was again back to the square one...No matter how much he tried to shift his attention from her...her beautiful face flashed in front him every time...he is such a "lost case" when it comes to her...

Arnab (Breaking his thought): Ei je Romeo..(Hey Romeo) [As Jay glared at him]

Before he could continue...Jay started walking towards the tea shop.....

Jay opened the door to see his "Kaku" sitting in the balcony with newspaper and a cup of hot steaming Coffee....

Kaku: Ei je Tiger...(Here comes Tiger as Jay smiled at him) Do you need some coffee?

Jay: Sounds good!!

When he brought coffee to Jai's room...Jai was fast asleep..didn't even change his clothes...somehow just removed his shoes...that too only one shoe can be seen..

Mr. Ray pulled the quilt over him and looked at the sleeping Jai... he knows behind this huge figure...a small kid resides within big Jay and how he is miserable without "Her"...

Mr. Ray: Only if I could bring "her" here for you again..!!!
