'Til the End: Chapter 7

Finally, classes were over and it was dismissal time. Misaki left and headed to the field.

She sighed as she sat on the bench under the Cherry Blossom tree. She was waiting for Toshiki since they would meet there every afternoon before heading back to their dorm.

Misaki was slowly drifting off to sleep, until she felt a nudge, "Finally, after a millennium... What took you very long?" She asked, her eyes were still closed.

"Whom are you waiting for? Your so-called best friend?" Misaki heard a voice that she didn't recognize as Toshiki's.

She opened her eyes slowly. She saw that it was Shira, -Toshiki's ex-girlfriend- and she was with her small group. It seems that Shira hated Misaki since she thought that she was the reason why Toshiki broke up with her.

"What if I am?" Misaki asked back. Shira glared at her and slapped her for no reason. Misaki was just standing there, unfazed.

"Too bad, he would never come for you." One of blonde's (Shira's) friends said, but Misaki couldn't care less.

"Instead of caring about me, why don't you care for yourselves?" The lilac-haired girl replied, crossing her arms.

This made the blonde rage and slap her again. "You slap like a paper. A piece of paper doesn't slap painfully."

"Oh, really? Hide the pain as you wish, but your face is all red." Shira said with a smirk. "And this is not the last time that we'll meet, Tokura Misaki." She left along with her friends.

Misaki gasped in her mind as she heard those words. 'Great, that girl is asking for trouble.' She thought. She then took out her phone and tapped the 'camera' app. She noticed that Shira was right, her face had a slap mark.

Misaki was worried. She knows how her best friend could be an interviewer. She remembered the last time that she got hurt back then in the last year of middle school. Toshiki asked a lot of questions back then, and Misaki was trying to convince him that she just tripped.

She sighed as she sat back on the bench. It was just a minute when the said brunette came. "Sorry, I got something to do." He apologized. Misaki shook her head and smiled.

"It's alright." She replied. 'If you came a minute earlier, there would be trouble.' She added in her mind.

"Psh, stop lying." Toshiki said with a slight smile.

"I am not lying to you." Misaki replied with a small glare.

"Yep, but why is your face red?" He asked as he noticed. "Don't even try to lie, Misaki." Toshiki added.

"Well..." The lilac-haired girl hesitated to tell him.

"That blonde did it, right?" The brunette pointed to the direction where Shira went off to. "I saw it, Misaki. The moment when they left. Just tell me if she ever hurts you again." He said with a sigh.

"Don't you even dare to hurt her. I can handle myself, thank you very much." Misaki replied sarcastically and stood up, Toshiki doing the same thing.

"I won't dare, but I will." He told the lilac-haired girl as they started heading to their dorm.

Damn school... I don't have much time to write anymore... That makes my wrting skills worsen...
