Misaki left early even though break time wasn't over yet. She entered the classroom and took out two things, a notebook and pen.

She just let her hands move naturally, not knowing what would be the outcome.

Then as the bell rang, Toshiki and Ren entered, along with some other students.

Toshiki sat beside Misaki, and Ren was behind him.

"So, who won?" Misaki asked the both of them.

"Unfinished game, thanks to the evil bell which causes hell and returns us to the cellar of doom." Ren replied.

Misaki laughed a bit at his reply. "Really, huh?"

"Reality isn't far from it." Toshiki told her.

"Whatever you sa-Not again!" Misaki said with a scowl as Toshiki got her water bottle from her bag and drank from it. "Learn to bring your own water some time!"

He returned it inside her bag.

"You know, you two act more like a couple rather than best friends." Ren commented and Misaki was about to throw her book at Ren.

"Woah, woah, easy. Calm down, you're so feisty. Ren was just kidding. Right, Ren?" Toshiki stopped her.

"I wasn't-Ow!" He reacted as a book hit his head. Yep, Misaki threw it at Ren.

"Watch your choice of words, Suzugamori."

"You really are feisty, like Kai said." Ren rubbed the part where he was hit.

"She really is." Toshiki added.

"I really am." Misaki replied sarcastically before rolling her eyes.

"You really are."

"Shut up."

Misaki was walking ahead to the field, Toshiki following from behind. It was already their lunch break.

"So, have you already planned out your group's Chemistry project?" She asked without looking back.

"Asaka's doing the planning, we'll do our parts." Toshiki replied.

"You can't just rely on her."

"Quite." He replied simply.

"And what are you going to do about it?" She asked again, concerned about her best friend's grades.

".........." No reply.

"Toshi-" She asked as she turned around, then she stopped as she saw what was Toshiki doing.

He was carrying a cat while smiling, and there was a faint pink on his cheeks. He adores the cat. (Refer to picture)

"Uh..." Misaki trailed off, she rarely sees this side of him.

"S-sorry about that. The neko is just so kawaii." He apologized. Toshiki put down the cat, he was embarrassed.

"Don't. I understand that feeling too."

The cat rubbed itself against Misaki's leg and she picked it up.

"Kawaii neko..."

They continued walking towards the school field, Misaki carrying the cat.

They sat down on the grass, under the shade of a cherry blossom tree.

Misaki put down the cat and it went to Toshiki. He got it and stroked its back. "Why do you really like cats?" She asked him.

"No, I don't just like cats. Aishiteru nekos, dakara watashi wa... Neko atsume." (I love cats, that's why I'm a... Cat collector.) He replied while smiling at the cat who fell asleep on his lap.

"Honto? Anata wa neko atsume?" (Really? You are a cat collector?)

"Not literally, but yes." He replied, making Misaki confused.

"Huh..?"

I'm adding some Japanese words, they sound better. So how was this chapter?
