2 • The woman in white

CHAPTER TWO
"I see everything that is my curse."

───

Harper Winchester finally picks through the motel room's lock as she and her brothers sneak into the small dusty room. Which to there surprise..John there father had rented it out for at least a month before his sudden disappearance. As Harper takes a look around she sees that the walls around them are all plastered with clippings of articles and photographs. And it's clear that there father is no where in sight. Though there were some signs of human life...like the unmade bed, empty cans of soda, and the fast food wrappers on the floor. The green eyed girl steps forward as she turns on the light, now investigating a old moldy burger. "He hasn't been here in a while all right" Harper says in disgust as she chucks the burger into the trash can.

Sam kneels down on the floor as touches the line of salt, "He was worried, trying to keep something from coming in" The hazel eyed boy pointed out.

Dean walks over to the wall of files as he observed them, "Centennial highway victims" He shared.  "I don't get it, I mean, different men, different jobs, age and ethnicities...there's always a connection, right?" The elder winchester questioned.

Harper slowly nods, "Your right, none of these guys have anything similar to one another." Sam stands before a collage of torn out books and vaguely horrible old illustrations that are plastered on the wall but suddenly one of drawings catches the boy's eye. The college student scoffs, "Dad figured it out" Sam blurted out.

"What do you mean?"

Harper follows Sam's eyes as she looks over at the century old drawing of a young woman in a flowing white dress, by a dark roadside. Sam continues, "He found the same article we did. Constance Welch, she's a woman in white" The young winchester explains.

Dean smirks as he looks back over to the victim's photographs, "You sly dogs" He chimes with satisfaction.

Harper rolled her eyes at her elder brother, now turning towards Sam. "So if it's a woman in white..Dad would've just found her corpse and burned it."

"She might have another weakness" Sam adds.

Dean shakes his head, "No Dad would've wanted to make sure. He'd dig her up." Dean raises a brow, "Does it say where she's buried?" He questions.

Harper looks up and taped to the room's wall there's a constance Welch article, printed off the Jericho herald website. The brunette sighed, "There's no mention of where she was buried but..if I was dad, I'd go and talk to her husband" Harper suggests.

Sam shrugs, "If he's still alive."

Dean slowly nods, "Why don't you two see if you can find an address? I'm gonna get cleaned up" He tells his siblings. Dean moves for the bathroom but Sam calls after him, "Hey Dean about what happened earlier.. I'm sorry" Sam expresses. But silence quickly fills the room as Sam sends his stubborn sister an glare, signaling her to also apologize.

Harper let out a loud sigh, "I'm sorry too, you were right. We shouldn't talk about mom like that" She tells him, with a slight frown.

The Elder Winchester raises his hand up, "No need for sappy moments" He deadpans.

Harper smirks, "All-right Dick."

"Bitch."

Sam softly chuckles, now looking towards his older brother. "Jerk" the brown haired boy chimes in, watching as Dean now disappears into the bathroom.

Harper turns back to the bed, now clearing off the messy bed as she plops onto it. The green eyed girl watches as Sam continues to study the bedroom. His eyes now darting around in search of another clue but the college student stops in front of a dusty mirror as something suddenly catches his eye.

Harper raises a brow with suspicion, "Everything alright, Sammy?" She asks.

Sam turns back as he hands it to his sister, "Remember this?" He inquires with a smile.

Harper takes the photograph as she studies it. It's a photo of John Winchester and his three children all huddled close, a rare moment of happiness and tranquility. A faint smile spreads across Harper's face, as memories start flooding back into her mind. "God, I remember this day" Harper expresses with a bright smile.

Sam scoffs as he sits down besides his sister, "You do?" He inquires.

Harper nods slowly as she glances over at her younger brother. "Yeah..it was when dad first taught Dean how to use a gun" The brunette recalls. "The both of us were so bummed out because dad said we couldn't learn cause we were too little so the whole day we just sat in the impala, keeping each other company" The green eyed woman tells Sam with a soft smile.

Sam smiles also as he looks down at the photograph, "I'm glad dad at least had the senses not to teach a six and seven year old how to shoot a gun" The hazel eyed boy retorts with a chuckle. Harper watches as Sam carefully folds the photograph now handing it back to her. Harper smiled softly as she tucked the old photograph into her coat pocket. The more time she'd spent with her brothers made Harper realize how much she'd missed there presence and the memories that they brought with them, some bad and some good but that didn't matter to Harper. She'd finally had her family back even if it was only for a couple of days.

Harper gets up from the now made bed as a freshly showered and dressed dean comes out of the bathroom. "Thank god, you took forever in there" Harper groans. "Let's hope there's still hot water in there for me" The Winchester girl grumbles as she walks over towards the bathroom door. Dean scoffs as he puts on his leather jacket now making his way to the room door, "Well I'm starving. I'm gonna grab a little something to eat at that diner down the street" He tells them. "You guys want anything?" Dean asks.

"No" Sam says as he's on the cellphone. The green eyed man shrugs, "Aframian's buying" Dean chimed with a smirk. But Sam still turns down his request as he tries to listen to his newest voicemails from his girlfriend.

"How about you Har? What do you want?" Dean asks his younger sister.

Harper shrugged nonchalantly, "Just get me whatever your having" She chimed as she walks into the small bathroom, now closing the door behind her.

Dean walks out of the motel room and he's just in time to see, across the parking lot there stands the motel clerk conversing with deputy Jaffe and an other officer. They all spot dean as the clerk points towards the Winchester's direction, causing the deputy to narrow his eyes at the young man with suspicion. Dean quickly pulls out his cellphone as he dials his brother.

"What?" Sam says

"Dude, Five-o. Take off" Dean warns his younger brother.

"What about you?" The young Winchester says with alarm on the other line.

"Uh, they kind of spotted me. But you and Harper go find Dad." Dean quickly hangs up the call just in time to turn around towards the officers, with his signature cocky grin. "Problem, officers?" Dean questions.

Deputy Jaffe crosses his arms, "Wheres your partners?" He asks.

Confusion crosses the blonde man's features, "Partner? What--What partner?" Dean asks, utterly clueless. Jaffe nods to the other cop, who moves over towards the motel room door where Sam and Harper were in.

"So fake u.s Marshall, Fake credit cards. You got anything that's real?"

"My boobs" Dean replies with a grin.

Meanwhile in the midst of showering Harper starts to hear loud pounding coming from outside the bathroom door. The brunette scoffs with utter annoyance, "Sam..you were to lazy to get up and use the bathroom so now you'll just have to wait your turn" Harper shouts back as the hot water drips down from her skin.

"Harper, you need to hurry up!" Sam yells, as he continues to bang on the wooden door.

Harper huffs as she goes to turn off the water, now stepping out of the shower and wrapping her wet body around with a worn blue towel. The brunette opens the bathroom door as she's now faced with her brother. "What's so important that you needed me?" Harper retorted.

"Dean, just got arrested."

Harper's eyes widen, "You got to be kidding me" She muttered. "What do we do now? Do we go and bail him out?" She questions.

Sam shakes his head, "We're gonna go find Constance's husband" He explains.

Harper nods in agreement, "Yeah just give me some time to get dressed."

"Are you sure you have the right address?" Harper questions as she and Sam pass by a row of old faded trailers.

Sam looks down at a piece of paper, "Yeah I got it from dad's notes" He explains with a shrug. The two winchesters make there way towards a flimsy metal door, as the youngest winchester goes to knock. A 54 year old Joseph Welch opens his door with a face lined with a lifetime of pain and heartbreak.

"Hi, uh, are you Joseph Welch?" Sam inquires, with a smile.

"Yeah."

Harper spoke up as she looks over at the man, "We're so sorry to bother you but we just wanted to ask you a few questions about your late wife Constance" The brunette explained emphatically. The man slowly nods as he lets the young girl continue, Harper now pulls out the photograph from earlier as she hands it to the widower. "Also...have you seen this man, I believe he actually came by to see you" The green eyed girl adds.

Joseph looks down at the picture, "Yeah I've seen him but the fella was much older" the welch answers, now handing the picture back to Harper. "He came by three or four days ago, said he was a reporter."

"That's right" Sam chimes. "We're working on a story together."

The old man shrugs, "Well, I don't know what the hell kind of story you're working on--but the questions he asked me."

Sam raises a brow, "About your late wife constance?" He asks.

"He asked me where she was buried."

Harper's brow furrows, "And where exactly is that again?" The green eyed woman asked.

Joseph scoffs as he looks between the two siblings, "What, I got to go through this twice?" He questions harshly.

"It's fact checking, if you don't mind" Sam added with a shrug.

The Welch sighs softly, "In a plot behind my old place over on Breckinridge" Joseph tells them.

"Why did you move?" Harper questions.

The old man shook his head, "I'm not gonna live in the house where my children died" He says sadly.

Sam's eyes narrowed at the widower, "Mr. Welch, did you ever marry again?" The brown haired boy asks.

"No way." Joseph frowns at the memory of his late wife, "Constance--she was the love of my life, prettiest woman I ever known" He shares proudly.

The brunette sighs, "So you and your wife had a happy marriage?" Harper asked.

"Definitely."

Harper and Sam both slowly nod. "Well that should do it, thank you for your time." Joseph nods, about to shut his front door until Harper's got something on her mind. "Actually Mr. Welch, have you ever heard of a woman in white?" The brunette asks.

The man's brow furrows, "A what?" He questions.

"A woman in white or sometimes known as a weeping woman." Harper sighs as she looks over at the man, "It's a ghost story. More of a phenomenon, actually. They're spirits and they've been sighted for hundreds of years dozens of places around the world but lately in Arizona and Indiana. All these different woman but all have the same story" Harper explains to the Welch.

Joseph scoffed, "Sweetheart..I don't care much about that nonsense" he deadpans, closing his flimsy door on Harper and Sam's faces. But just in the nick of time the brunette places her hand on the door, keeping it wide open. "You see sweetheart...Their husbands were unfaithful to them and these women basically suffered from temporary insanity, murdering their children." Harper meets the man's terrified gaze as she continues to talk. "Then once they realized what they had done, they took their own lives. So now there souls are cursed, walking back roads and waterways, seeking revenge on cheating dirtbags."

Horror washes the old man's expression as if Harper were talking about his own wife and children. "You think...you think that has something to do with Constance, you bitch?" Joseph says with fury.

The green eyed girl shrugs, "I don't know you tell me" Harper says nonchalantly.

Joseph let's out a sigh filled with despair, "I mean maybe--maybe I made some mistakes, but Constance never would have killed her own children." The old man sends the two Winchesters a glare, "Now the two of you need to get the hell out of here, and don't come back" Joseph hisses, as he slammed his front door shut.

Dean who's still at the police station looks down at the open journal in front of him with the numbers 35,111. "I don't know how many times I got to tell you. It's my high school locker combo" the green eyed man tells the sheriff.

"Are we gonna do this all night long?" Sheriff Pierce looks like he wanted to tear Dean limb from limb but then suddenly deputy Swartz pokes his head into the room. "We just got a 911. Shots fired over at whiteford road" he informs the sheriff.

Sheriff Pierce turns back to Dean, "Do you have to go to the bathroom?" He asks.

Dean shakes his head, "No" he replied.

"Good." The Sheriff cuffs the winchester to the desk, and leaves the room as he closes the door behind him now leaving Dean alone. Suddenly The blonde Winchester eyes something on the desk hidden beneath a stack of papers and files..it's a metal paper clip. Dean grabs it as he raises it up towards his face, now smirking.

Later on in the midst of driving the impala down the dark road, Sam's cellphone begins to ring. Harper who's in the passenger seat goes to answer it, "Hello?" The brunette says into her brother's phone. "Fake 911 phone call, har and Sammy? I don't know but that's pretty illegal" Dean heckles from the other line while he's at a pay phone.

Harper chuckles, "Your welcome deano" The brunette muttered with a wicked grin.

"Listen, we got to talk."

Harper begins, "Tell me about it.. so Mr. Welch was unfaithful. And Sammy here was right, we're dealing with a women in white" She tells her older brother.

"And she's buried behind her old house" Sam adds, from behind the wheel.

"Would you guys shut up for a second" Dean blurts, as he stands at the pay phone.

The young winchester continues as his sister now passes him the cellphone, "I just can't figure out why he hasn't destroyed the corpse yet?" Sam questions.

The green eyed man scoffs, "That's what I'm trying to tell you" Dean reasons. "He's gone, dad left Jericho."

"What? How do you know?"

"I've got his journal" Dean adds.

Harper looks over at her brother with confusion, "Dad doesn't go anywhere without that" she blurted with suspicion.

The elder winchester shrugs, "Well, he did this time" Dean says.

"What's it say?" Sam asks, as he continues to drive the impala down the dark road.

"Same old ex-marine crap, where he wants to let us know where he's going."

Harper groans, "Coordinates" she says with utter annoyance. "Where to?" The green eyed woman questions.

Dean shakes his head, "I'm not sure yet" He tells his two siblings from the other line.

Sam scoffs with suspicion, "Dean what the hell is going on?" The hazel eyed boy asks his elder brother.

"Whoa" Both Sam and Harper shout out in shock as constance appears in the middle of the road, right in front of them. Sam drives the impala right through her as the brown haired boy slams the brakes hard, Wildly skidding to a stop.

Harper breathes heavily as she looks over to a breathless Sam who also now glances over at his older sister. The brunette raises a brow, "You okay?" Harper asks with concern.

Sam slowly nods, "Yeah" he says lowly.

"Take me home."

Both siblings slowly turn around as they're met with the spirit of constance welch, who's now sitting at the backseat of the impala. "Hell No" Harper snapped, with her icy cold glare. And at that the doors suddenly lock by themselves which results Constance to hit the gas pedal causing the impala to drive down the road in full speed.

Minutes later the car pulls up a muddy dirt driveway towards a abandoned house, as the impala's engine slowly turns off. "Don't do this" Sam tells the woman, now trying to sympathize with the spirit.

"I can never go home" Constance echoes.

Realization dawned onto Sam's face, "You're scared to go home" the young winchester points out. The two siblings find the courage to look behind them but there was no Constance in sight. In seconds the passenger side door is flung open and Harper is thrown out by an invisible but powerful force. Sam's eyes widen with shock and fear as he shouts out his sister's name but Constance glitches to the passenger's seat, now moving on top of Sam as she straddles him.

Constance leans his seat back, now pressing her body against his. "Hold me, I'm so cold" the woman utters out. The spirit tries to kiss the young winchester but he turns his face away, resisting. Sam's voice trembles, "You can't kill me. I'm not unfaithful..I've never been" He groaned.

"You will be" Constance moans out. Suddenly there's a high pitched, whining tone as Sam suffers from some type of silent siren song. The woman's lips move closer to his until Sam doesn't have the strength anymore to resist, the vengeful spirit kisses the winchester more deeply each time. But Sam slowly reaches his free hand towards the ignition but then suddenly Constance leans back now looking at Sam as her face glitches to her rotting corpse features, and constance ends up disappearing.

Unexpectedly Sam jolts as shards of excruciating pain shoot through his body. He falls back in his seat as he unzips his jacket, watching as his shirt starts to burn. And again in with a strobing flash, there's constance again now straddling Sam. The woman presses her fingers into his chest, causing Sam to scream in utter agony. The sound of gunfire echoes out causing the glass to shatter, landing all over the vengeful soul. It was dean striding fast towards the impala, firing his gun but The woman disappears once again.

A now free Sam leans forwards the wheel, "I'm taking you home" He mutters, now turning on the ignition as he slams on the gas.

Meanwhile outside Harper slowly opens her eyes as she regains consciousness from the hard fall. The brunette rises up from the ground as she sees the impala race toward the abandoned house. "Sam!" The green eyed woman screamed with utter worry and terror. Harper watches as the impala smashes through the termite-ridden wall of the old house, now entering the building.

"Sam! Sam!" Both Harper and Dean scramble through the newly created opening, towards the impala. The brunette runs over to the drivers side as she sees a weak but still alive Sam still seated in the car. "You okay?" Harper asks as she and dean look over at their younger brother with worry.

"I think" Sam says lowly.

"Can you move?" Dean asks, now leaning through the broken window as he grabs Sam's wrist now tugging him out. Sam groans as he's now free, his two older siblings helping him to his feet. But they're too occupied to notice Constance has reappeared again, as she picks up a dusty photograph of her and her two young children.

"Guys..she's back" Harper whispered as Constance met there stunned gazes. The woman looked over at Harper, Sam, and Dean with utter anger and before the three siblings could move an inch. A heavy wooden dresser suddenly slams right into them. The brunette groans as the heavy weight of the dresser pushes up against her legs, "You psychotic bitch" Harper sneered, angrily.

Constance slowly makes her way over to the three winchesters in a menacingly manner but then suddenly the lights started to flicker causing constance to turn around towards the stairway. Water begins to seep down the wooden steps and the woman looks up at the head of the stairs as she's met with her two deceased children who are deathly pale and soaked. A horrified Constance slowly moves to the stairs as she stares up to them.

"You've come home to us, mommy."

Harper and her brothers shared bewildered looks as they watched Constance's children rush over to her causing the woman to let out a terrible scream of pure agony. Then the woman's body went up into wild blue flames as it surrounded her. It almost seemed if it were burning her alive and to the hunter's surprise the vengeful spirit was now gone as she melted. The wooden floor gurgled her up as if it was a spiritual drain.

Harper sighed heavily as she looked over at her brothers. Dean manages to shove the dresser onto the floor with a grunting effort. Harper steps forward as her brothers followed her from behind, the three of them now staring at what was left of Constance. "So this is where she drowned her kids" Dean says.

Sam slowly nodded, "That's why she could never go home."

"She was afraid to face them" Harper adds, as she swallowed thickly.

Dean grins, "You found her weak spot. Nice work Sammy" He exclaims, now slapping Sam on the shoulder.

"Ah!" Sam winces and masks his pain with a mocking laugh. "I wish I could say the same for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?"

Dean turns back around, "Hey I saved your ass" He announces. Harper scoffs as she rubs her throbbing head, "Yeah..you sure did" She says sarcastically.

Sam looks over at his sister, "You okay?" He asks her softly.

Harper slowly nods, "I was thrown into mid air but there's nothing a little tequila can fix" The green eyed girl gushed.

"I'll tell you another thing, Sammy." Dean bends over now examining his car for any damages. "If you screwed up my car, I'll kill you" The elder winchester beamed with a glare. Both Harper and Sam chuckle at their brother's fondness for the majestic impala.

"That goes for you too, Harper."

After a long endless night of driving, the impala pulls up to Sam's apartment with the engine now idling. With his bag over his shoulder Sam gets out of the car from the backseat and a saddened Harper also gets out. The green eyed girl softly smiled as she looked back up at her younger brother. Her entire life Harper had been looking out for the boy and now here he was..all grown up now making a name for himself. The two siblings were...now saying goodbye once again but something in Harper knew she'd be seeing Sam again. Harper goes to hug Sam and as they pull away from each other, the female winchester's eyes twinkled from her glossy tears.

The brown haired boy sighs, "Come on..don't cry Harper" Sam chimed with a soft laugh.

Harper shook her head, "I'm not...these are happy tears" She explains. Sam nods in understanding as he continues listening to his elder sister. "I'm just really proud of you that's all..you deserve to make a life for yourself because every one of us deserves to be happy" Harper expresses as she gives Sam one last hug.

The hazel eyed boy smiles, "So do you Harper" he tells her.

Harper smiled softly as she met Sam's gaze, "Make sure to give them hell, Sammy." The green eyed girl walks back over to the impala as she slides back into the passenger seat right besides her elder brother.

Sam comes back over to the car window as he leans over, now looking over at a clearly annoyed dean. "You'll call me if you find him?" Sam asks, with a furrowed brow.

Dean doesn't respond, he just sits there in silence. Sam shrugged, "Maybe I can meet up with you later, huh?" The young boy suggests.

"Yeah, all right" Dean says finally as he turns on the impala's ignition. The two older siblings now watch as their younger brother walks back over to his apartment's front door.

"Sam?" Dean calls out from the wheel.

The college student turns back around, "Yeah?"

"You know, we all made a hell of a team back there" Dean acknowledged.

Sam nods, "Yeah." He watches as Dean shifts the car into drive and motors away further down the street, away from his sight.

Minutes later Sam unlocks his apartment door, now entering. Sam looks around his place and it's all dark and empty. "Jess?" The winchester calls out as he walks into the shadowy bedroom. But he then notices that the bathroom light is on and the sound of the shower running. The hazel eyed boy sits on the edge of his bed, far beyond exhausted as he falls back on the mattress now lying faced up with his eyes shut.

Sam sighs deeply as he tries to relax but then suddenly a drop of crimson red splatters onto Sam's forehead. His eyes jolt open and horror washes over his face as he gasps. Up on the ceiling there lies Jessica, impossibly splayed out with her dead wide open eyes. Sam staggers back onto the bed, "No!" He screams out as he watches his girlfriend's body erupt into flames.

"Sam!" Harper shouts. She and Dean urgently slam into there brother's apartment.

"Jess!" Sam cries out as he covers his eyes from the bright wild flames. "Sam! Sam!" Harper runs into the now burning room and glances up at the ceiling where she sees a now dead Jessica splayed across the ceiling, Dean also sees this too. But there's a more pressing matter, Harper rushes up to Sam as she yanks the boy off the bed and towards the threshold. "Jess! No!" Sam shouts as the flames start to grow uncontrollably. "I'm not leaving her" Sam protests as he fights to go back in.

A teary eyed Harper shakes her head, "She's gone..Sammy..We have to go!" The brunette says lowly. With one final push The three siblings now leave the bedroom just in time as the fire cascades down the walls and bursts throughout the bedroom. Harper and Dean drag a grief filled Sam out of his apartment as they all rush towards outside away from the burning flames.

The Winchester siblings run out to the empty street as they cough out for air. Harper looks over at Sam who's expression is now filled with pure horror. "I have to go back" Sam fretted as he looks back up at the building. The young boy starts to rush back over towards the apartment's front entrance but Dean grabs Sam now holding him back.

"Let me go, Dean! I have to go back!" Sam protests as he tries to pull away from his elder brother.

Dean sighed, "She's gone..there's nothing you can do" He deadpanned.

Harper moves over in front of Sam as Dean continued to hold him back. The young woman swallowed thickly as she met her grief stricken brother's glossy eyes. "Sammy there's nothing you can do to help her..She's gone" Harper explained sadly. Dean lets go of his younger brother and Sam just collapses into his sister's arms. Harper sighed deeply as she hugged her brother tightly, she could feel Sam trembling and his sobs of utter despair. The green eyed girl softly closes her eyes..she hated grief..she hated losing people. Harper never wanted her little brother to have to go through something like this...but it was now too late..he did.

Nearly three hours later at the dawn of sunlight, Harper carefully sneaks back into her quiet and dark apartment. The green eyed woman walks down the hall and into her bedroom as she sees her boyfriend soundly asleep at there bed. Harper purses her lips as she sits by Nikolas's side. The man slowly opens his eyes as he feels Harper's soft hand on his cold face. "Your back" The Blackwell utters out in surprise as he sits up against the headboard, turning on the lamp that's on the nightstand.

Harper smiled softly, "Missed me?" She questions.

Nikolas grinned, "Way too much" He effused as he kisses the green eyed woman. It's an passionate but loving gesture. Harper slowly pulls away from him as she looks back up at the kind young man. The blue eyed boy raises a brow, "Everything alright?" He questions with concern.

Harper slowly nodded as she rubbed her shoulder, "Remember when I told you my dad was sick?" The brunette asks.

"Is he alright?" The Blackwell inquired.

Harper shakes her head, "It's really bad..Nik." The young winchester sighs, "He's not getting any better than we expected." Nikolas pulls his saddened girlfriend into a warm embrace as he  holds the brunette in his arms. Harper frowns with despair, she knew it was wrong what she was doing but the brunette had no other choice. Harper knew she had to protect the Blackwell from her family's secret...she had to protect Nik so he wouldn't end up like Jessica.

Harper slowly pulls away from Nikolas as she swallowed thickly with despair, "And since he keeps getting worse..I'm gonna head back home for a while" She reveals.

Nikolas brow furrows with confusion, "For how long?" He asks lowly.

Harper's voice starts to break as her bright green eyes start to well up. "I don't know" The brunette said with a nonchalant shrug.

"We'll just have to make long distance work."

The Winchester narrows her eyes at Nik with bewilderment but also hopefulness, "I can't put you through that" Harper reasoned.

Nikolas stops her as he stares into Harper's alluring eyes, "I love you too much to throw what we have away" He expresses with such love in his voice. The green eyed girl watches as the Blackwell gets out of bed and opens his nightstand drawer, now pulling out a small black jewelry box. Nikolas then proceeds to take a step away from the bed as he kneels down on one knee.

Harper's whole face lit up as she rises from the bed and steps forward to her boyfriend who was now down on one knee.

"Harper Millie Winchester..will you marry me?"

Silence filled the room as the brunette looked down at the boy who held up the opened jewelry box that contained such a beautiful ring inside it. There were so many alternatives that could have unfolded but deep down Harper Winchester knew she loved Nikolas Blackwell..she loved everything about him..his goodness and good natured heart. He loved her to death and would lose his mind if anything ever happened to the Harper..and the same for she. The green eyed woman smiled softly, "Yes" Harper answered with utter joy.

Nikolas smiles with joy as he gets up from the ground, passionately kissing the girl with his arms wrapped around her. Harper chuckles softly as the Blackwell puts the engagement ring on Harper's finger. The winchester now looks down at the priceless ring and it's beauty. "I had it made from scratch, I've been holding onto it for a month now" The blue eyed boy adds with his charming smile.

Harper raises her hand up in the air as she admires her beautiful engagement ring. "It's beautiful Nik, I love it" Harper shared as she kisses him once again. But then it soon hits her..Sam and Dean were waiting for her downstairs. She was going to be leaving her now fiancé until who knows when. The brunette slowly pulls away from Nikolas as she sighed, "I'm going to be calling you every day and night..I'll even send you letters if I have to" She tells him.

Nikolas nodded slowly, "So will I" He promises. Harper nods also as she slowly steps away from the young man and makes her way out of her bedroom. The Blackwell watched as his girlfriend walked further down the hall with her head held up high until she was fully out of Nikolas's reach and sight.

Minutes later Sam and Dean look out the impala's window as their sister comes out of the large apartment building. The elder Winchester pauses as he notices the young girl's puffy red eyes and her saddened demeanor..she'd had been crying. Dean knew there had to be sacrifices made in order to find there father once and for all..but how many until they were left utterly destroyed. Dean deeply sighed as he watches Harper get into the back seat of the impala and he then turns around now facing his only sister.

"We got work to do" Harper deadpanned. The green eyed man nodded as he turned on the impala's ignition and shifts it to drive. The black Chevy impala now motors away further down the dark empty city road and towards there future destination.
