New Body, New World
Her eyes opened to see a pastel purple ceiling with little clouds painted on them. As she raised her hand to rub her left eye she noticed that her hand was very small, so was her body.
13 Neoma wasn't nineteen anymore.
Her new parents weren't surprised to hear her speak when she crawled out of bed for breakfast, which means the body she was in had learned to talk before she became the host of it. She felt bad for them since their child probably died in her sleep. How else would her soul gain access to this body.
She grew attached to her new parents and new name, Renata Iola, over the years of being raised once again. They were so much more kind and understanding to her than her previous parents. She was allowed to watch anime on the livingroom tv, own manga, and hang out with her friends whenever she wanted as long as her homework was done. They never yelled at her for mistakes and talked to her about why her decisions were bad whenever she'd make them. She had finally gotten over her less than appealing previous life. She felt loved.
One evening her mother called her to the kitchen where her father was already waiting there next to her mother. "Ren, I have some good and bad news." Her mother said looking concerned.
"We're moving to Japan for your mother's new job there. We know you like Japanese stuff and it was either Japan or Canada. We know it's going to be hard leaving your friends and home. Please don't be too upset with us, Cubster, it was our only option. We'll even try to come back here and visit your friends when we've saved enough." Her father said sincerely.
Renata's eyes grew wide and she felt sadness and excitement fill her bones.
"I-I'm not too upset, I mean I'll miss my friends, but Japan is really cool and I've been studying Japanese in language class so much I'm nearly fluent. So it won't be too difficult.....What I mean is that I'm both excited and a bit sad and I understand that you tried your best to prevent any hardship for me....so thanks for that. I could never be upset with you for trying your best." Renata said honestly with tears welling up in her eyes and a smiled at them.
"Thanks for understanding, don't be afraid to ask us for help in anything, Cubster" her dad said as he hugged her. Her mother smiled and joined the hug too.
Don't be afraid to correct me
