The boxes were heavy and they only had one week until middle school started for her. Her new room was half way unpacked and soon to be painted purple. Renata and her dad went to the store for some food to put in their new fridge.

"Okay so what do we want for dinner? Sandwiches, burgers, pancakes, or my special jalapeno popper dip with chips, salsa, and mini enchiladas?" Her father asked jokingly.

"You already know my answer" Renata joked back jabbing him gently in his ribs.

"Alrighty the mighty Cubster has spoken! Jalapeno dip it is then." Her father laughed.
Soon after they gathered all the ingredients they headed back to their new home to make dinner.

As they ate they watched Hunter x Hunter. She would've preffered to watch Death Note, but for some reason this world had all of the other animes she watched in her previous life but not her favorite. The episode was the beginning of the chimera ant arc and her parents where getting really into it when the doorbell rang. They got up and answered the door while she waited on the couch for them to come back and guarded the food from their callico cat , Pastel. She could a woman's voice at the door.

"Who was it?" Renata asked as they returned to their seats.
"It was a nice neighbor that lives across the street from us. She wanted to welcome us. Her husband is busy at work so he couldn't join her in welcoming us, but she said he'd be glad to meet us. Oh, also she mentioned having a daughter, apparently she's your age" Her mother said with a hint of excitement
"Woah really? Is she going to be going to the same school as me? I'm really lucky to have someone I might be able to hangout with already" Renata said surprised.

"Yeah, if I heard her correctly then she'll definitely be going to the same school. You should ask her to help you out with school since you're new here." Her dad said with a mouthful of jalapeno dip as he pressed play.

"We'll be inviting them over for lunch once we've finished unpacking." Her mother mumbled getting entranced by the show.
