13's eyes struggled to keep open as the landscape outside the window sped by. New year's day had passed and her unreasonable wish she had made as the fireworks lit up the sky still lingered in the back of her mind.

I wish to be with my beloved L

   She knew the such things would never come true but it wouldn't hurt anyone to have wished for something. At least she would get to see her grandmother tonight, right?
     Suddenly a huge tree began to fall infront of the car and her father tried to slam the breaks only to find that they didn't work. Screams filled her ears and darkness devoured her.
