I Envy You
"Hey, have you brought your ticket?" His classmate Seokjin asked him.
"The hell is the ticket about?"
"That musical play on AN Hall later, don't tell me you didn't bought one?"
Shit.
"I lost it." Yoongi admitted. "I'm not going."
But he suddenly remembered that he left it in his jacket's pocket in his room. But he haven't gone home since he ran away, and it's two days already.
"I thought you badly want to watch the show?"
"Well, unfortunately, I can't go because I don't have a ticket."
Seokjin shrugged his broad shoulders, "Well, I guess see you later after the show?"
"Yeah, see you." They both nodded and Seokjin left.
"Uh... Maybe you can have mine..." a familiar voice Yoongi heard behind him. He turned around and saw Jimin, the sophomore he met days ago. Jimin stretched a hand to Yoongi, holding a ticket of the said musical show that will soon start after hours.
"You're giving that to me?" Yoongi raised a brow.
"Yes, I overheard that you badly want to watch it. So you can have it."
You're being too kind, Jimin
"I didn't said anything like that."
Jimin just kept silent and still stretching his hand with the ticket.
"No, it's yours. I deserve not to watch it because I forgot it on my place. So use it and watch." Yoongi refused the younger's offer.
"If you won't accept and watch it, then I won't, too."
"What do you mean?" The ticket would be useless if Jimin won't watch.
"I'm throwing this ticket in the trash bin." Jimin threatened. But he didn't yet move a muscle to walk his way to the bin.
"What were you thinking, you brat?!" Yoongi really see this kid stupid, "The ticket's 8,000 won and you will just throw it in the trash bin?!"
Jimin shrugged like he didn't care.
"What were you also thinking?!" Jimin suddenly shouted in a high pitched voice, "The ticket's 8,000 won and you just left it in your house?! So you wanna let your house watch the show and not yourself?!" The younger talks like he have the same age as Yoongi.
"I told you I forgot my ticket and didn't left it for a reason. But throwing it on the garbage has a reason!"
"It's because you won't come!"
Yoongi sighed, giving up. Why is he dealing with with such a childish brat like Jimin. The elder was going to ask the younger why won't watch the show if he won't when a guy, taller than them, went near Jimin. His voice is too deep that Yoongi might think the guy's an adult older than them.
"Jimin, can you help me?"
"Yes, Taehyung, is there a problem?"
"This is really a big problem, Jimin. Jungkook is one of the actors of the musical play and the problem is, I can't have chance to watch him because you know the ticket ran out before I could buy it. Jimin huhu please help me..." Taehyung cried like a little baby who didn't receive a candy.
"Don't worry anymore Taehyung, have my ticket."
"W-what? You're sure Jimin?"
"Yes! Actually, I'm planning to throw it out but you came. I hope it will make you glad that you have a ticket already."
"Omg thank you Jimin! I love you!" Taehyung left and Yoongi glares at the younger.
"What? I gave my ticket to him because it'll be useless if I'll just put it on the bin. Atleast it became useful."
"What you're really up to, huh, kid?"
"Nothing, and oh, don't assume that the reason why I didn't use my tiket is because of you. Because nah, before we talked I already made up my mind to throw the ticket away."
"But you just said awhile ago that you'll throw it because I won't come"
"Ye--ah--no--what?! No! I didn't say it!" Jimin waved his hand, quickly declining the older's words.
Yoongi smirked, " Oh yeah? You think I'm deaf?"
"Whatever. Anyway, I've got a lot to do. See you later sunbae-nim!"
"Wait!" Yoongi held Jimin's hand, stopping him for walking away.
"Can we have some... Uh... Time to take some coffee?"
Jimin smiled widely after he heard what the elder had said.
"Yeah, sure sunbae-nim! I know a coffee somewhere!"
I held your hand and my heart skipped a beat. Shit. Why...
---
"You sure you don't want to add cream?" Jimin asked.
"Yeah." Yoongi wants his coffee without a cream or it will make his stomach upset.
"So sunbae-nim, what shall we talk about and you've invited me for a coffee?"
The elder wonder if what will he say.
Shit. I don't know what to say.
"Uh... Nothing. Just want to know more about you."
"Oh is that so? Then ask me anything."
"So yeah," Yoongi placed his cup slowly on the table, "Where do you live?"
Jimin laughed at the elder's question. Is the question's way too common?
"What kind of question is that, sunbae-nim? Why don't you ask me who do I lik—o-okay, w-well, I live at an apartment in Gangnam, My parents work for my future and they let me live alone in an apartment, even though the course I'm taking now isn't the course they want me to take, they still support me and I'm so grateful."
It's nice. He has nice parents who support him no matter what.
Yoongi nodded, "What course are you taking right now?" he asked curiously.
"Performing Arts major in Dancing." Jimin proudly answered.
"Oh, so dancing is your passion?"
"Yeah, how about you sunbae-nim? What course you're taking in?"
"Business Administration."
"Is business your passion too?"
No, it isn't...
"Uh, yeah... I guess so."
"You're not sure?"
"Kinda, But I know how to deal with clients so I guess I can be a successful entrepreneur soon."
"Well, that's one of the essential skills an entrepreneur should have..." Jimin gulped his creamed coffee before he continued, "Sunbae-nim, are you free this weekend?"
"Yeah, I don't mind anyway, why you asked so?"
"I just want to stroll anywhere, and oh! I want to bring you to the best restaurant I usually go for years! You know, their bestseller is the most delicious dish I've tasted!"
You told me a lot of things you like, you experienced.
But sorry if I can't share anything to you, because I don't have such things like that.
