~ Chapter 2 ~

I was dragged all the way into school and suddenly my brother stopped pulling my arm once we got beyond the school entrance. He turned around to me and stared me directly in the eye, "you don't know me lil sis. Let's make that clear. Once in school, don't even think of communicating with me. Is that understood?" my brother questioned.

I slightly nodded my head and felt my brothers precense slowly retreat. My eyes were glued to the ground, my own brother wants nothing to do with me - I feel utterly worthless!

I felt a tear slowly cascade down my cheek before my mind was brought to a different place.

It was weird - this place felt so real but at the same time it seemed so fake. It was gorgeous - blue skies, tall trees, an ocean as clear as the sky, land which is the greenest and most purest. It all seems unreal.

"i know it does." a voice said.

I turned around and looked to see who this voice sourced from. I must know where I am!

When I looked behind me I saw a female standing besides a tree, she wore what I thought to have been tribal clothing and looked exactly like me. It was bizarre to say the least.

(SEE ABOVE FOR VISUAL PICTURE OF THE GIRL!)

"who are you?" I asked out of curiosity. She looked exactly like me that it was scary - in a way I hope it is me and not someone else otherwise that would be weird.

In my moment of thought the girl has walked closer to me.

Once I realised she was moving closer towards me, I stepped back in fear of what she might do.

"dont worry dear, there's nothing to fear." she soothed.

She continued to walk - well glide. She walked with such poise that she looked like royalty. She had such a powerful aura about her which would make even the strongest men bow at her feet- she was the true definition of a strong woman, what all of us females try to strive to be like.

She now stood in front of me and smiled, "such beauty, such power, a true doppelgänger of mine."

I looked at her now confused. Doppelgänger?

"yes dear. Your my doppelgänger - your princess tiger Lily's doppelgänger." She finished.

A princess? Okay this is very confusing.

"i know how this seems dear. I myself find it hard sometimes but I am here in your mind to warn you. They will come for you - the pirates will hunt you down. They already know your out here and they won't stop until they capture you. So be careful dear for great danger is heading your way!" The princess warned.

Panic now ensured me. I was in danger!

The figure started to retreat, but she suddenly stopped.

"and before I forget. Don't grow up just yet Delilah - both your mother and I wouldn't want that." the figure then started to retreat again.

Wait, my mother?

"wait..." I cried out to the princess but I was too late. She was already gone.

I blinked my eyes open and looked around me. I was still standing in the same position as I was before.

A bell then suddenly went off which at first frightened me with this now sudden warning bestowed upon me. But I realised that it meant to get to class- so I scurried off to my first lesson which was put on the schedule which was sent through the post a week prior.

I ran into my new English class and scurried right to the back, thankfully everyone was still settling in so I went by unnoticed. The class was all about introductions and all that rubbish so my mind drifted slightly.

'both your mother and I wouldn't want that's

Did the princess in my head know my mother? Was what happened in my head a mirage? Was it really all fake?

My head was brought out of its thought when a teacher snapped it's fingers infront of me.

I looked at the teacher and saw a smirk on their face, "glad you could make it back to us miss. Lily."

After a second I looked back at the teacher confused, "my names actually Delilah Sir." I stated.

The teacher gave me a glare, "I don't believe that Miss-" the teacher paused so that he could get back to the front of the class, once at the front he turned and glared at me, "lily".

I looked at the teacher a second longer and watched as he continued with his lesson. Too scared to do anything else.

Wait, lily. Why would the teacher get me confused with a - wait - princess lily. As in princess tiger lily. Is my teacher a pirate? is this the warning the princess warned me about?

I panicked and started to freak out. I was in danger!

I slowly turned to look out the window and saw a glimpse of something in the distance. What I thought to be a boy flying? maybe he's falling?

I quickly let out a frightful scream and that captured everyone's attention.

I looked back at my new classmates and saw the teacher glare. I pointed to the window, "a , a boy. he's falling!"

The teacher gave a surprised look before shooting towards the window.

He looked out the window then immediately turned around and ran out of the room.

I looked back out of the window and saw the the boy wasn't in fact falling, rather - he was flying. I couldn't believe my eyes, an actual boy flying!

It's remarkable! truly remarkable!

I quickly sat back down in my seat and stared at the boy in wonder. Its a flying boy. I don't know why, but he just seems so enchanting.

Then I let out a gasp, on the horizon I saw a tall sailing ship fly through the air.

This must be my imagination because there is no way in hell this is real.

An actual flying sailing vessel?!

And it was heading directly for the boy?!
