After showing off his combat skills along with the origins of his hidden blade, Y/N was very excited following the events of last night, when he asked out Tifa for their first official date.

On the other hand, Tifa was excited as well as she couldn't stop blushing ever since she woke up. While she set up the bar for today's business, Cloud smirked as he noticed his blushing childhood friend.

Cloud: well Tifa, sounds like you're in a great mood today

Tifa: yeah

She giggled.

Cloud: was it something... or someone that made you feel happy?

The ex-SOLDIER smirked while Tifa blushed lightly at Cloud's question.

Tifa: C-Cloud!

Cloud: what? Just asking

Tifa: oh you

Cloud: so what did you and Y/N do yesterday?

Tifa: he and I showed off our combat skills at Scrap Boulevard. I was amazed of Y/N's skills and agility

Cloud: did you also show him your moves too?

Tifa: I did, and he knows that I may be pretty, I'm also a tough girl

Cloud: that is true

Tifa: did you get an update on Barret and the mission?

Cloud: yeah, we move out in two days; Mako Reactor 2 will go down

Tifa: okay, we're good to go

Cloud: Jessie, Biggs and Wedge are loading up the explosives as we speak

Tifa: okay sweet!

Cloud: so, where is your SOLDIER protector?

He smirked making Tifa blush even more.

Tifa: h-he's probably still asleep, he was tired from yesterday

Cloud: do you like him?

Tifa: what?

Cloud: I said, do you like Y/N?

Tifa: I-I...

Cloud: Tifa, we known each other for a long time since we were kids growing up at Nibelheim; you can tell me anything like when we were up on that water tower that one night talking

Tifa: well Y/N is a great guy, he really impressed me since he came to Midgar for the first time

Cloud: that's how my best friend is

Tifa: well Cloud, to tell you the truth; I really like Y/N

Cloud smiled.

Tifa: and today is our first official date

Cloud: ohh! So where will you two go?

Tifa: we didn't plan on that, we can figure something out

Cloud: knowing you two, I guarantee you two will have a great date

Tifa smiled. Then Cloud decided to play a trick on his childhood friend.

Cloud: Y/N's here!

Tifa: where?!

Cloud pointed and laughed at Tifa while she playfully slapped his arm and blushed heavily.

Tifa: Cloud!

Cloud: you really like him, huh?

Tifa blushed and nodded, admitting to her childhood friend her feelings for Y/N.

Then a minute later, Y/N came in to Seventh Heaven.

Y/N: good morning you two

Cloud: hey Y/N

Tifa: morning Y/N

Y/N: hey Tifa

He said in a flirty tone which made the bartender blush a bit.

Cloud: well, this is my signal to leave

Y/N: where you going, man?

Cloud: gonna stake out the reactor with Biggs and Wedge, so we can see what we're really up against once the mission is a go

Y/N: alright

Cloud: meanwhile, you two enjoy yourselves. See you later

Cloud left the bar, leaving Y/N and Tifa to themselves as both of them blushed lightly.

Y/N: hi

Tifa: hey

Y/N: so uh, are you excited for our date later?

Tifa: yes I am, you have any ideas on where we're going later?

Y/N: you know, I didn't think about that

Tifa: yeah me too

Y/N: we can figure something out

Tifa: yeah we can, so want something to quench your thirst?

Y/N: yeah, give me a shot of the Cosmo Canyon

Tifa: hmm, I wonder why that has become your favorite drink

She giggled as she playfully teased him.

Y/N: well... the color of it makes it beautiful

Tifa smiled as she prepared the red colored cocktail.

Tifa: the red color huh? 

Y/N: oh yeah

Tifa: hmm, can you tell me why?

She said in a flirty tone as Y/N's eyes widen and was flustered a bit.

Y/N: well uhh... it's because...

Tifa: hmm?

Y/N: well it's because... the color is the same as the color of your beautiful ruby red eyes

Tifa smiled and blushed heavily at his compliment.

Tifa: you're so sweet

Y/N: well...

Tifa: and I saw your trick when you held up the glass, you were looking at me

Y/N blushed as well.

Tifa: you certainly have charm, Y/N; I admire that about you

She smiled as she gave Y/N a shot of the ruby red colored Cosmo Canyon.

(Later)

Tifa closed the bar for the day, so she can spend the day with Y/N as they have their date.

Tifa: we can walk around town until we find a good place to stop at

Y/N: sounds good to me

The two walked around the slums to find a place for their date. While they walked, Tifa noticed that her hand is almost touching Y/N's hand. She gathered up her courage and proceeded to hold his hand.

Y/N looked down and saw that Tifa was holding his hand, making him blush a bit. However, the ex-SOLDIER smiled and interlocked his fingers with hers.

After a couple of minutes of walking around, the two found a small restaurant.

Tifa: oh wanna get something to eat?

Y/N: oh yeah sure, it's been a long time since I have a full meal as a SOLDIER

Tifa giggled as the two went inside the restaurant and took their seat to take their orders.

(Few minutes later)

The two were full and satisfied from the delicious food they ate.

Tifa: that was good

Y/N: I'm so stuffed

Tifa giggled.

Tifa: ready to go?

Y/N: yeah, let's go. I'll pay for us

Tifa: you're so sweet

The ex-SOLDIER paid and the two left the restaurant.

The two continued to walk around the slums. Though the slums were under the metal plate, there was an area where the residents can see the clear sky.

Tifa: Y/N, let's go see the stars

Y/N: oh yeah sure

Tifa got Y/N's hand and the two went to the area where the slums have a little bit of life. Tifa found a spot for them to sit and watch the stars above.

Tifa: come sit with me

Y/N: alright

Y/N sat down with Tifa and looked up at the sky. Tifa noticed a small gap between them, so she scooted closer to him, much to the surprise of the ex-SOLDIER.

Tifa: it's so beautiful, isn't it?

Y/N: yeah, something the steel plate doesn't cover

Tifa: I agree, and Y/N...

Y/N: yes Tifa?

Tifa: I really enjoyed our first official date together

Y/N: yeah me too, I really love being with you, Tifa

Tifa smiled.

Tifa: oh, and by the way, the mission is a go, we will move out in two days

Y/N: oh okay, time to bring down another reactor

Tifa: that will be later, for now, let's enjoy this together

Y/N: yeah

The two continued to look up at the clear starry night sky. Tifa scooted even closer and proceeded to lay her head on Y/N's shoulder.

Y/N saw this, but smiled as he saw the sweet look on Tifa's face. Y/N wrapped his arm around her to keep her warm and comfy.

After a few minutes of staring up at the sky, the two headed back to their apartment building.

Tifa: I really had fun with you, Y/N

She smiled.

Y/N: I can say our first official date was a success

Tifa giggled.

Tifa: you can say that

Y/N: well we should get some rest now, so we can be energized for the mission

Tifa: yeah, I totally agree

The two smiled at each other, and then they proceeded to hug each other.

Then as they let go of their hug, Tifa gathered all of her courage and leaned in to give Y/N a kiss on his cheek, making Y/N's eyes widen and blush.

Tifa smiled and ran her hand on his arm.

Tifa: good night Y/N

As she opened her door, she looked back at the ex-SOLDIER and give him a cute smile as she went inside.

Meanwhile, Y/N went to his room and laid on his bed as he put his hand on his cheek where Tifa kissed him on.

He smirked as he laid and looked up at the ceiling.

Y/N: you did well Y/N, you did well

The ex-SOLDIER went to sleep for the night as he is now preparing for the Mako Reactor 2 mission.
