The party has made their way to the region called Under Junon, a small town that is living in the shadows of Shinra's major military installation called Junon. They met with the mayor of Under Junon named Rhonda, who is aware of the bounty on Avalanche's heads with the set price of 100,000 gil each and Aerith's bounty of 500,000 gil, but the mayor let them stay at the town inn, which is open to everyone.

(The next day)

After getting a night's rest, Barret gone over the plan with the others.

Barret: we need to get up there to Junon, that is where the inauguration of the President will be at

Cloud: the region will be under heavy security because the president will have his parade

Y/N: we're going all the way with this? We're going to cut the head of the Shinra snake?

Barret: it's about damn time the people do something!

Y/N: Cloud mentioned that Shinra's entire military will be there, so we need to come up with a plan to infiltrate without getting spotted

Just then, they heard a cry for help.

???: help! Somebody please help!

Then the innkeeper came running out.

Innkeeper: the sword, the weapons... you're some fighters, aren't you? That was Priscilla, and from the sound of it, she needs tough people like you to lend a hand

The group then met with Priscilla and followed her to the harbor.

Priscilla: we got to go now! There's a monster attacking the boat!

They then saw a girl stranded in the middle of the water as her boat began to wave back and forth.

???: help!

The boat broke apart by a large aquatic creature. The girl was helpless, but then was rescued by a dolphin.

Priscilla: Yuffie! Grab his fin and hang on!

The girl, Yuffie then grabbed the dolphin's fin and rode to the dock. However, Yuffie was then tossed to the shore as the dolphin dove back down to the water. 

Rhonda and Priscilla carried Yuffie to dry land.

Rhonda: hey, Shinra's most wanted! Get rid of that thing!

Barret: say what?!

Tifa: Barret, focus!

The party prepared for battle against the Terror of the Deep.

Y/N: oh come on! It swims and flies!

Aerith: and it bites too!

Due to the Terror's quick speed for its size, offense alone can't faze it, so they resort to using magic attacks.

After incapacitating the creature, the Terror dove back down to the water.

Cloud: oh no, you don't!

Cloud ran to the water, and with boost help from the dolphin, the ex-SOLDIER took down the creature with one last slash of his Buster Sword.

He then rejoined the others to help an unconscious Yuffie.

Rhonda: don't just stand there, help me!

Cloud rushed over and knelt beside Yuffie.

Rhonda: you're on chest compressions

Cloud: got it

The others kept their distance and watched as Cloud and Rhonda are doing CPR.

Rhonda: now! Compress!

Cloud was about to do the compressions, but then Yuffie regained consciousness and saw the awkward situation and got back up and did some shadow punches.

Yuffie: you picked the wrong girl, creep!

But then Yuffie took a closer look at the party, and remembered from the past, that Tifa, Barret and Cloud were from the splinter cell of Avalanche, in which they used to be part of the group, but left after a "political dispute," as according to Nayo, a member of Avalanche HQ.

Rhonda: easy, they're guests of mine, and this one was trying to save your life

Yuffie: he was? Ugh, nice going, Yuffie. Call the guy a creep why don't you, you big moron?

Rhonda: okay Yuffie. Let's get you inside, you've had a rough day

Yuffie: yeah. Alright

The young girl then ran inside the inn.

The party was also about to rest up on the inn, but then they saw Yuffie running to them.

Yuffie: hey, you guys are that Avalanche splinter cell, right?

Barret: now how the hell did you-

Yuffie: I just got to say I'm a big huge fan of yours! HQ wishes they could be as cool as you guys!

Barret: well uhh... we are pretty cool, but...

Yuffie: think we could sit down for a chat later? Got a teensy favor to ask

Barret: I suppose you can come by the inn tomorrow?

Yuffie: sweet! You won't be sorry, I promise! Later!

She then ran off again, leaving the party confused.

Tifa: um?

Barret: I know, I know, she laid it on pretty thick... but she's just a kid. What's the harm in hearing her out?

Tifa: maybe she want's your autograph

Barret chuckled and the party rented some rooms in the inn.

(Moments later...)

Y/N was in his room, taking in the silence as he trying to wash off the vision he saw from the glowing orb back at the villa safehouse. He then heard a knock on his door.

Y/N: yeah?

Tifa: Y/N, it's me. Can I come in?

Y/N: it's open

Tifa: hey... you've been silent since we came here. Everything alright?

Y/N: oh I'm fine

Tifa: you can tell me anything you know

Y/N took a deep breath as he collected his thoughts together.

Y/N: I'm just having these strange visions of Aerith

Tifa: visions of Aerith?

Y/N: it's all fuzzy, not a clear picture, but it is most likely something to do with her fate

Tifa: oh I hope it's not bad

Y/N: that's what I wish

Tifa: get some rest now, okay?

Y/N: yeah... you're right

Tifa gave Y/N a kiss on the cheek before she went back to her room for the night.

(The next day)

Y/N awoke from the sound of rapid knocking on his door.

Y/N: alright, I'm coming! Who the hell knocks this freakin' early?

As he opened the door, he saw Yuffie coming in along with everyone else.

Y/N: morning meeting in my own room

Yuffie: okay! Now that everyone is all here... it's time you get to know me! My name is Yuffie, materia hunter, elite ninja, operative for the interim Wutai government. I left my beloved homeland behind to bring an end to Shinra's reign of terror... and prove that Wutai is not to be trifled with

There was an awkward silence in the room as everyone looked at each other in confusion. For Y/N, he was a bit ticked on the elite ninja part

Y/N: elite ninja, huh? You could've gotten yourself out of the predicament with that sea creature

Yuffie: says who? Are you a ninja too?

Y/N: more like a silent Assassin with a cool hood to hide our face

Yuffie stared down at Y/N, who had his arms crossed, seemingly unimpressed.

Tifa: Wutai?

Yuffie: yup! Which brings me to that little favor I mentioned yesterday: long story short -- I want you to join me. HQ? They just didn't understand -- but you guys get it!

Barret: don't ninjas creep around in the dark, slittin' people's throats? 

Y/N: exactly what I do for a living

Y/N said as he showed off one of his hidden blades.

Barret: I mean, we've done some shit, but we are not about to stoop that low

Yuffie: I resent that! Although that is something we do

She then asked the group to come closer.

Yuffie: traveling alone so far from home is expensive... so I've been moving from town to town, hustling, scraping together enough scratch to keep sticking it to the man... until I came here and lucky I did because I met Rhonda... she offered me the gig of a lifetime... as assassination!

Y/N was surprised to hear what Yuffie's task is, something that is really right up his alley.

Y/N: assassination? Of who?

Yuffie: guess who the target is... no seriously, guess!

Cloud: just spit it out already

Yuffie: who else but a certain company's new president... Rufus-freakin'-Shinra!

Y/N groaned at the mention of Rufus' name, recalling his duel with him up top the Shinra tower back in Midgar.

Y/N: you got the gig to assassinate that sumbitch? Where will he be?

Yuffie: that douchebag will be here any minute now, but "up there here," anyway...

Yuffie said as she referred to the military complex of Junon.

Yuffie: ...enjoying his fancy inauguration parade. The people here had their country stolen from them, and then their sunlight. Junon demands revenge! So when the president steps out... 

Y/N: go for the kill

Barret: oh wow. Tell us more

Yuffie: alright, you want to know how Rhonda is paying me? With your bounty, suckers

Barret: what?

They then heard the sound of a motorcycle outside.

Yuffie: wow, got to hand it to her! The lady works fast! Well this was fun. Seeya!

Barret: hey!

???: I know you're in there, my friend!

Y/N recognized the tone and words of the voice as he said his name to himself.

Y/N: Roche...

Tifa: who's that?

Cloud: a pain in the ass... let's go

The party managed to sneak to the back side of the inn to avoid any contact with the reckless motorcyclist Roche. They asked Priscilla for help on how to reach to the top of Under Junon, which is through an old oil tanker ship that is used for an elevator. 

The party rode to the top where they saw a lot of Shinra guards. With intel regarding Rufus' inauguration parade for his presidency and Yuffie's plan to assassinate him, Cloud, Y/N and the others must figure a way to infiltrate the parade while not attracting any unwanted attention since they have a huge bounty on their heads.
