With Shinra hot on their tails, the party's only option is to escape and get out of Midgar. Y/N and Tifa managed to catch up with the others and grabbed two motorbikes and a pick up truck to use as an escape route.

The group were pursued by Shinra guards on motorbikes and military style trucks. Y/N and Cloud took down the guards with their swords, giving the others the chance to keep going. As the dust settled, they were all clear, but not out of Midgar just yet.

Barret: we need to find a hiding place to lay low for a while!

Y/N: I know a place! It's still functional and I had a caretaker look after it. He welcomes all who are allies to Avalanche

Cloud: what place is that?

Y/N: follow me, I'll lead the way

The party followed Y/N out of the streets of Midgar and into the open roads of the Planet.

Tifa: I wonder where Y/N will take us

Aerith: wherever it is, it will be safe for us

(Moments later)

The party pulled up in front of a small town surrounded by tall walls with a large stone building that bears a strange symbol on the staircase.

Barret: more like a fortress than a safehouse

Tifa: what is this place?

Y/N: this is the Auditore Villa, once a headquarters of a secret society, but now, it has been modernized as an outpost for Avalanche

Barret: huh, I wonder why I wasn't aware of this outpost

Y/N: it's to keep its location unknown, they want to protect their secrets. Come on, we can lay low here for a while

Barret: worried about Wedge though and Marlene!

Y/N: don't worry, they are safe inside the villa

The group went upstairs and made their way through the villa as they saw members and allies of Avalanche.

Y/N: feel free to rest, rooms are upstairs

Red XIII, Barret and Cloud nodded as they proceeded upstairs to take a rest. As for Y/N, he went to the back area of the villa, where a garden of yellow flowers are growing, which were the same kind of flowers Aerith had at the church of Sector 5. He felt a sensation on his head once he stepped foot on the villa, so hoping some fresh air will clear his head.

Aerith and Tifa were a little concerned, so they followed the SOLDIER Assassin to the garden.

Tifa: babe, you feeling okay?

Y/N: huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine, I just got a little headache

Tifa: guess you're exhausted from what happened, huh?

Y/N: Rufus is a tough son of a bitch

Tifa: why don't you go up and rest for a while?

Y/N: I'll do that, but I just need some fresh air, it's been a while since I breathed in fresh air, not polluted Midgar air

Tifa giggled a bit.

Tifa: I'll go ahead and rest up, you can join me when you're ready

Y/N: I'll be there

Tifa left Y/N with Aerith and the healthy yellow flowers.

Aerith: you two are so cute together

Y/N chuckled and smiled.

Y/N: Cloud said the same thing

Aerith: you know Y/N, you remind me of someone I loved before

Y/N: oh? Who was it?

Aerith: it was... Zack...

Y/N popped his head as his eyes widen while his mind played the haunting flashbacks of Zack Fair and his final stand.

Aerith: I never knew what his fate was, he used to help me sell flowers and he gave me this cute pink bow I have on now

Y/N couldn't recall the event in detail of what happened to Zack, all he knew is that when he and Cloud regained consciousness, they both found Zack all covered in blood with his Buster Sword in hand, before the moment he passed it on to Cloud.

Y/N: I'm sure he was an awesome guy

Aerith: Y/N, do you mind giving me your left hand?

Y/N: uhh sure...

Y/N gave Aerith his left hand, in which the flower girl gently grabbed it with both of her hands as she prayed. Then she sensed something connected to his mind.

Aerith: Y/N, you possess an old repressed memory

Y/N: a memory? Of what?

Aerith: a sad tragedy. I can see a man dressed exactly like you, but he looks... older and he is carrying his dying lover in his arms

Y/N: how could this man be my repressed memory?

Aerith: the man is your great great-grandfather

Y/N's eyes widen as Aerith mentioned his mysterious great great-grandfather.

Y/N: whoa, I never knew much about him. What of his lover?

Aerith: well, all I can sense from her is that her last words to your grandfather is that she wished she could have had a second chance with him

Y/N: I don't want that fate of the future to happen to me and Tifa

Aerith: the future is unwritten, only you can decide its fate

Aerith said as she carefully picked a yellow flower and placed it on Y/N's chest.

Aerith: thanks for saving me

Y/N: of course, I just want to do what's right

Aerith: and you have

The flower girl smiled as she went inside and up to her room of the villa to rest. Y/N went back in as well, but then saw a mysterious glow behind a door, but he chose to ignore it for now and went to join Tifa in bed.

(The next morning)

Cloud, Barret and Red XIII woke up first and scouted around the villa for security while Y/N, Tifa and Aerith were resting up.

A few minutes past and Aerith was the next to wake up; she proceeded to go to the garden at the back of the villa to care for the flowers. Then Tifa woke up to feel her lover's arms around her, which made her smile. The bartender turned around and gave a soft kiss to Y/N's lips, which made him smile and wake up as well.

Tifa: good morning, my hero

Y/N: morning to you too, how did you sleep?

Tifa: I slept well, and I got to say, this room is a bigger upgrade than our apartment's

Y/N: glad you slept well

Tifa: does this place have a kitchen?

Y/N: Avalanche has since modernized the villa, so everything you need is downstairs, and I even had them make a new Seventh Heaven for you

Tifa gasped as her eyes light up.

Tifa: you made a new Seventh Heaven?!

Y/N: I didn't want our happy place to be forgotten, that bar had so much memories

Tifa: oh Y/N, what can I do without you?

Y/N smiled and kissed her head and lips before the couple got out of bed.

Y/N: I'll meet you guys downstairs

Tifa: I'll have your favorite cocktail ready

The couple went downstairs and separated to other rooms of the villa. As Y/N walked the main hall, he saw the mysterious glow behind the same door. His curiosity getting the best of him, he went to go investigate.

He went through the door and walked down some stairs to see a big room with 5 statues of hooded figures dressed like him. Y/N looked and checked each statue and noticed some unique features from each.

The first statue of the figure has his left ring finger missing, as if it was cut off for his hidden blade's feature to be used properly.

The second statue had a cape as part of his robe while his arms were crossed with hidden blades poking out.

The third statue has the figure holding a small tomahawk on his right hand and small blade on his left hand.

The fourth statue has the figure holding two pistols with two more pistols in his holsters along with two pirate like cutlasses.

The fifth statue depicts the figure holding some strange orb like object as if it was some weapon.

Y/N: hmm strange and unique statues, good thing Avalanche kept this room untouched

Unbeknownst to him, Aerith followed Y/N down to the room.

Aerith: never knew about this room?

Y/N: nope

Aerith: what brings you down here?

Y/N: I saw a mysterious glow, as if it was calling out to me

Aerith put her hands together and prayed to sense any spirits.

Aerith: I don't hear anyone

Y/N: there's the glow, it's behind this door

Y/N and Aerith walked slowly to the door and as they opened it, they were in awe as the glow came from an orb shaped object.

Aerith: what is that? Some sort of materia?

Y/N: doesn't look like any materia I've ever seen

Y/N slowly bring his hand near the object, but then the orb erupted in a blinding, bright glow.

Y/N: get down!

Y/N shielded Aerith from the blinding glow, but then saw an illusion of Sephiroth appear before him.

Sephiroth: Y/N, you have so much potential, come... join me

Y/N: you're not real!

Y/N went to struck down Sephiroth, but then Aerith walked through the bright glow and placed her hands over the orb, which resulted in the glow to dim and Sephiroth's illusion to disappear.

Y/N: what?

The SOLDIER Assassin turned around to see that Aerith was near the orb.

Y/N: Aerith, get away from it

Aerith: it's alright now Y/N, I got it to calm down. It seems this thing messed you up good

Y/N: how did you manage to overcome its power?

Aerith: I don't know, it must be me, I guess

Y/N: well for our safety, this door stays closed and locked

Aerith: good idea

Y/N: let's go up to the others

Aerith smiled and nodded as the two went back upstairs while Y/N sealed the door to the room. The two went to the villa Seventh Heaven where they saw the others.

Tifa: there you two are

Y/N: sorry we kept you waiting, babe

Aerith: just needed some morning fresh air

Y/N: where's Cloud?

Tifa: he's down there training and working on his skills

Aerith: perfect time for some rest after what we went through in Midgar

Y/N: the Reno, Rude and Rufus are still looking for us for sure, but this villa is well guarded, so we're safe

Tifa: so happy to have you with us, babe

Aerith: aww you two lovebirds, I'm gonna go fix you two a bouquet

Aerith giggled as she left the couple to themselves.

Y/N drank his cocktail while he held hands with Tifa.

Tifa: we can cuddle after you finish your drink

Y/N: that's an all day plan

Y/N smirked and finished his Cosmo Canyon, then carried Tifa bridal style to their big bedroom where they cuddled the whole day as they dissolve all their worries and enjoy the peaceful bliss in each other's arms.
