Had a tough time writing this part as I have quite a lot of work but as many of you were messaging me continuously, thought of penning it down but please don't expect much from this one :(

Everyone was sitting at the dining table having their breakfast. Aarav and myrah were fighting with butter knives and spoons making weird noises.

As soon as karan came, he sat on the chair and rested his head on the table.
Everyone looked at him and myrah and aarav too stopped fighting.

Myrah who was sitting beside him come over to Karan who was bending on the table and looked at his face . So now she was half sitting on her seat and was half bending on Karan's back.

Myrah-(smiling sweetly) what happened?

Karan-( small smile) didn't sleep well last night.

Myrah-(sucking her thumb) want to sleep more?

Karan nodded in yes so myrah started patting his head making him smile and everyone present there goes aww on them.

Karan holds myrah from one hand and makes her come in front. Once she was settled in his laps comfortably, he gives her one hard peck on her cheeks making her smile to her fullest.

Karan then looked at aarav who was already looking at them with a smile and raised his eyebrows at him.

Aarav-what?

Karan- did you told them? ( He said pointing towards manan)

Aarav-(nodding in no) nope. Was waiting for you.

Karan- (nodding in yes) okay, so now tell them. What about varun and diya btw?

They both were whispering to each other so no one was able to hear them except myrah who was sitting on Karan's lap only.

Aarav-they are in too. Varun wants to handle abhi uncle's company so he too will be pursuing business and Diya wants to go for fashion designing.

Karan nodded and then clear his throat to get everyone's attention.

Aarav- (looking at everyone) we have to say something.

Nandini-what baby?

Aarav- maa, I have decided where I want to go.

Manik-( wiping his mouth with napkin) hmm, I was going to talk to you about this only. Tell us, what did you decide?

Aarav- all of us are going to California only. Karan, me and Varun for b.com
Mrudula for research, Diya for fashion designing and aradhya for psychology.

As soon as Manik heard it, he made a whining face and looked at Nandini as both of his sons and his Princess is going away from him.

Nandini giggles looking at him, as he was the only one who was telling her that they shouldn't stop their kids to explore things and now he is only making faces.

Manik- (pouting) what do you mean? Why all of you are going???

Karan-(giggling) what do you mean dad? Opportunities for our area of interest is good there. Also, it will be good right if we all stay together instead of staying alone in different countries?

Manik-( whining) I can't send all of you there. Nope.

Aarav-(sarcastically) why?

Now Manik was looking here and there to make an excuse and he came up with the lamest one making cabir spit out his juice.

Manik- I don't have money to send both of you aboard. I have to look after myrah too. So nope.

Everyone was laughing hard at his statement while manik smacked his own head realising what the heck did he just spoke.

Nandini-(giggling) really manii? Don't worry I'll send them with mine okay?

Karan-(laughing) even I have dad, I'll manage by myself don't worry.

Manik glares at both of them and then vigorously nodded his head in no making everyone giggles at his baby acts.

Cabir suddenly remembered something and got up startling navya who was sitting beside him.

Navya-(angrily) what is wrong with you cabir?

Cabir-aree wait. First tell me, where you all are going to stay?

Manik too got up shouting  - "oh yess,  kiddo, where will you stay jaano?"

Aarav-(laughing nervously) apartment uncle.

Karan-(rubbing his neck) yeah dad

Manik-(glaring) we mean, with whom?

Mrudula (making an innocent face)- I was going to stay with aradhya appa but your son is forcing me to stay with him in the same apartment and (whispering tone as if Telling him a secret) same room.

Manik/cabir-(shouting) aarav/ Karan.

And in the next second, both karan and aarav vanished in thin air leaving both fathers huffing like an angry bull and others laughing.

In all this no one noticed but  2 people were really sad.

Karan was getting ready in his room for his counselling. He was anxious to this extent that he was finding it hard to button his shirt.

At that time only Manik and Nandini entered and they both looked at each other before moving towards karan. 

Nandini holds his hands who were trying hard to button his shirt and asked lovingly- "what happen, baby?"

Karan-( frustratedly closing his eyes) I don't want to go maa.

Nandini looked back at Manik who was trying hard to control his emotions. He can't see Karan all scared, nervous. Seeing Nandini looking at him, he moves forwards and place one hand on Karan's shoulder.

Manik- (caressing his hair) why?

Karan hugged him tightly and
childishly said- "I don't know, I just don't want to go".

Nandini-(naughtily) how about you go there and then we all will go together for dinner at your favourite place?

Manik-and I buy you a new guitar?

Aarav who just came inside with myrah heard manan speaking so he said dramatically - " forget about karan, sends me only to this session.. I'll do whatever you want me to do in exchange for these offers".

Manik-(laughingly) shut up

Karan-(making a bad face) I'm not a kid that you are bribing me with these kinds of stuff.

Manik-( naughtily) how about I give you permission to let you stay with my princess and even take permission from that sanki?

Karan-(suddenly getting excited) you will?

Manik-(making a bad face) yeah if you will go today.

Karan-(happily) okay done.

Everyone giggles seeing him all happy while manik too hide his smile.

Myrah went forward and place both hands upwards telling Karan to pick her up. As soon as karan picked her up, she smiles and started kissing him on her eyes, nose, cheeks and forehead making him smile.

Nandini-(smiling) what are you doing baby?

Myrah-(cutely) bhaiyu is tensed mumma, so myrah is doing her magic. Papaji says that whenever I give him kissies, his all worries go away. I'm doing the same with Bhaiyu as well.

Everyone goes all aww on her including aarav but obviously how can he let her go this easily.

Aarav-( fake shouting) what did you do myrah? Now we have to go to a priest before taking him to any psychiatrist.

Manik-(confusedly) matlab?
         (Means?)

Aarav-(in duh tone)  the black magic which this devil has done, only priest can remove it na?

Next second everyone was having tears laughing while myrah was struggling to get out of Karan's arms to beat the shit out of this temple guy but he was holding her tightly
laughing.

Karan-(laughing) ohh pumpkin stop struggling baby, you will sprain my hands.

Listening to him myrah stopped and looked back at Karan with a really sad pout which made him stopped laughing.

He just smiles and started giving her kisses in the same way she did earlier.

Karan-(whispering) did my magic work too?

Myrah-(giggling) yeshh it did work bhaiyu.

Karan-( lovingly hugging her) aww my princess, bhaiyu loves you so much Jaan

Myrah-(sweetly) myrah loves bhaiyu too, (making an angry pout) but I don't love this temple guy.

Karan-(laughing) we will take revenge don't worry

Myrah placed her head on his shoulders and very slowly whispered- "don't worry bhaiyu, myrah is with you okay? You will do just well there"

Karan-(smiling) thank you princess.

Manan and aarav who was looking at both of them with a smile on their faces too went forward and they all hugs each other tightly.

Mrudula and Varun were studying physics together when Nandini walks in with a plate of snacks.

Nandini- okay both of you. We will continue afterwards, first have this.

Varun-(picking food from the plate) when will karan return?

Nandini-in half an hour I guess. It's been 1 and a half hr already.

Varun-hmm

Mrudula was still engrossed in her books only so Nandini lightly hit her head making her pout.

Nandini-(sternly) eat

Mrudula (whining)- wait naa, just one numerical is left.

Nandini just shakes her head in disbelief and started talking with Varun.

Nandini-  Varun, did you had any talk with Diya?

Varun-(confusingly) no, why?

Nandini- nope nothing, just asking.

Varun nodded while nandini was lost in her thoughts.

Mrudula-(munching her food) did you talk with mukti aunty? She is trying really hard Varun,I think you should forgive her now.

Varun ignores her, seeing which she hit him with a pen making him scowl and Nandini laugh.

Varun- these pakoras are really yummy maa.

Nandini- ( smiling) mukti has made this.

Listening her mrudula giggles and varun just roll his eyes but the trio knew how happy he is nowadays to get all the attention of mukti.

They were talking randomly when they heard the loud voice of Karan who just came back. He was calling for Nandini from the living room only.

Nandini-(loudly) I'm in Varun's room Karan.

Within few seconds Karan was in nandini's arms and Manik was standing on the door only.

Manik-2 min tumhare bina Nahi reh skta tumhara yeh beta.
(This son of yours can't live 2 mins without you)

Karan-(pouting) why didn't you come with papa?

Nandini-(guilty) sorry baby, I had to teach them so...

Karan-(again hugging her) it's okay. As a punishment, I will sleep with you and dad today.

Manik-(loudly) that's less of punishment for her and more for me dumbhead.

Karan just showed him his tongue making everyone laugh except Manik who made a bad face

Nandini-(caressing his hair) how did it go?

Karan-better than yesterday. I finally told them everything on my own...felt a lot better.

Nandini- that's really good...haina?

Karan- hmmm

Manik-( coming ahead) okay you guys, have fun... I'm taking my love with me.

Saying this he picked Nandini up in his arms and walked away whistling while nandini kept on asking him to put her down making the younger clan laugh.

Varun-(laughing) I'm going to aarav. Will play X-box, you guys wanna join?

Karan-(laying down) naah, too tired. You go-ahead

Mrudula too nodded in no, so varun went away while now Karan places his head on her lap making her smile.

Mrudula-(softly) are you okay?

Karan-(slowly) yess, I opened up in Infront of them from the start, told them what all happened, what I felt, what I went through and the best part was he didn't judge...there was not any sympathy or judgement in his eyes but pure concern and I love that fact. He behaved in a really nice way at the same time maintaining his professionalism. We are done with the past part, now gonna work on how I can just completely get fine with my past happenings. I told him, I still get triggers when someone talks about childhood memories or I see something related to it. It again makes me feel back to square one and he understands that too. So now we are gonna work on that. He told me how we can't change what happened neither can we predict our future, so now we are going to work on the part where I can get comfortable if someone talks about anything related to my past or childhood in general.

Mrudula (caressing his chin)- that's really good, isn't it?

Karan-(giving her a small smile) yeah...you think I'll be perfectly fine?

Mrudula-(softly)  I don't think, in fact, I'm sure about it.

After this Karan didn't say anything, just nuzzles in her tummy making her giggle listening which he too smiles.
