Everyone was sitting in the same position, at the same time Varun and karan entered lazily. Varun lies down on Abhi's lap making him smile while karan pulled mrudula out of Manik's arm and make her sit on the couch lying down on her laps making Manik smile and Mrudula concerned.

Mrudula ( ruffling his hair)- Karan? Are you okay?

Karan( sighing tiredly)- yeah just study pressure. Don't worry about it.

Aradhya- Bhai should I get something for you to eat?

Karan( nodding in no)- maa has gone to make something, she must be coming.

Manik got up from bed and said "I'll go and see if she needs something. Do you guys want something to eat or drink?"

Karan/Abhi/cabir- coffee

Aarav- cold drink

Aradhya- me too

Varun- me three

Everyone chuckled listening him and then Manik turned towards mrudula and asked her but she denied.

Manik- why? What happened kiddo?

Mrudula- nothing appa, I just don't feel like drinking anything. I'll eat something don't worry.

Manik nodded in yes and started going when karan called him From behind.

Karan- papa

Manik- yeah?

Karan-( pleading a little)  make strong one for me please.

Manik-( smiling a little)- sure

He noted everyone's choice in mind and moved down to help Nandini.

Karan ( looking at cabir)- when will navya chachi will come chachu? Is everyone okay there?

Cabir- yeah, it's just her mother is quite weak so navya don't want to leave her alone, I asked navya to bring her here but she didn't agree as she is quite orthodox and doesn't want to stay at her daughter's husband house.

Aarav-( making faces) that's...weird. I mean this house is navya aunty's too, what's wrong if she will come here?

Aradhya- maa was explaining to Nani the same thing but still, she didn't agree. So, maa gave up and decided to stay there for a while.

Everyone stayed silent after that not knowing what to do or say while mrudula keeps on pressing Karan's shoulder and head making him smile at her concern.

Other side Manik entered the kitchen to see nandini making few snacks for everyone. He sighed and back hugged her making her little startle.

Manik kissed the side of her head and softly whisper - relax it's me.

Nandini- what happened Manik? You want something?

Manik- no, I came to help you. Tell me what can I do?

Nandini-( smiling)- nothing, everything is almost done. Just help me in plating them please.

Manik( pecking her lips)- sure, let me bring plates. Also cabir, Karan and abhi are asking for coffee and everyone else wants soft drink. You bring drinks I'll make cofffee okay?

Nandini- ( smiling) okay.

Then they both started doing there respective works teasing each other or laughing about something when suddenly Nandini said.

Nandini- Manik, you are going to sit with Karan tonight,right? He is quite worried.

Manik( stirring coffee)- yeah I saw it upstairs. He was looking dead tired Nandini, don't you think he should sleep for a while? I'll take leave from office tomorrow and can help him in studies for whole day.

Nandini- but he have to go to school na manii, he can't take leaves for now. Also, Don't worry after making him eat I'll ask him to sleep for a while.

Manik- hmm you are right.

Nandini ( naughtily)- I'm always right.You know I'm born smart.

Manik( smirking)- really? Then let me shut your smartness Mrs Malhotra.

He was coming forward making Nandini laugh but at the same time aliya entered and seeing manan so close, her blood boil.

Aliya ( disgustingly)- ahem ahem. Don't you think you guys should do all this in your room?

Manik- well this is our house and if someone has problem with us they can stay in there room only. No one will mind.

Nandini nudged Manik to be quiet to which he rolled his eyes and continue making cofffee.

Nandini- Aliya, do you need anything?

Aliya- ( extra sweetly)- yeah, actually can you ask Karan to help Diya with her school work? They both are in same streams sooo...

Manik( glaring)- you absolutely hates him and still expects my son to help you? Are you sure you are at right state of your mind Aliya?

Nandini glares at Manik, not cause he talks rudely with aliya but cause this man literally has guts to call THEIR son as HIS son Infront of her only. Manik sensing someone's peirceing gaze looked towards Nandini to see her glaring at her as if she will punch him any moment making him gulp his saliva.

Nandini ( huffing in anger)- Karan is OUR son Manik Malhotra.

Manik ( sheepishly) - yeah I meant the same.

Nandini ignores him and concentrate on Aliya who was looking at him with hatred in her eyes but soon change it when Nandini turn towards her which Nandini noticed but didn't said anything.

Aliya- (faking tears)  Manik, I don't hate him. I mean I know I did a huge mistake in my jealousy but it was not cause I hates karan. I'm sorry please, but why are you punishing my daughter for this?

Manik ( murmuring which only nandini heard)- if only she actually means it. She is the one who is using her daughter and asking us why are we punishing her, seriously?

Nandini- ( blankly) Aliya, ask Diya to take help from aarav as karan is quite busy with his studies. Already he is finding hard to cope up with his syllabus as he joined late.

Aliya- ( making faces) but aarav is weak in studies na?

Manik( wide eyes+ a little loudly)- excuse me? My son knows enough to pass his exams okay. He is average student not weak.

Nandini ( glaring)- Aliya for your kind information, aarav always scores more than Diya so he can help her and If you still don't want aarav to help her, ask her school teachers to do the needful.

Seeing both manan glaring at her, she immediately ran away murmuring a thank you.

Manik( angrily)- I just can't stand them anymore.

Nandini ( calmly)- forget about them, let's go karan and Varun must be hungry.

He nodded and walked towards room where they saw an adorable sight. Karan was fast asleep in Mrudula's laps. He was practically sleeping on her only and she was ruffling her hair time to time whereas everyone else was smiling happily looking at the duo.

Myrah ran towards Manik and hug her legs making manik bend down to pick her up.

Myrah ( gushing over Karan+ happily)- papajii, karan bhaiyu is looking soo cute na while sleeping?

Manik( chuckling)- yeah ,after all he is your brother na.

Myrah ( proudly)- yeah

Aarav-( making bad face)- you could have give my example as well?

Myrah- for that you should look cute also na.

Aarav-(whining) maaa

Aarav make a whining face and looked towards nandini but immediately straightened it as she was not present there. He turned back and saw nandini pecking both karan and Mrudula's forehead one by one.

Nandini ( in a low whisper)- are you comfortable? Should I get cushion or something for you?

Mrudula ( smiling softly)- no I'm fine. Don't worry.

Nandini smiles and again placed a soft kiss on her hair silently blessing the duo.

But this blissful moment was soon broken by a loud bang and voice as well.

Diya ( opening the door with thud+ loudly)- karannn

Everyone was startled for a moment and Karan's sleep too broke making everyone hit their foreheads as they all Wanted him to sleep for a while but now when he is awake they were sure he isn't going back to sleep again.

Aradhya ( glaring)- can't you come normally?

Aarav-( hissing)- what's wrong with you? Karan was sleeping and you literally broke his sleep with your shrill voice.

Karan( sitting straight+ rubbing his eyes) aarav... it's okay. I don't know how I fell asleep. Infact it's good, I have Lot's to do, can't afford to sleep rn.

Diya ( hatefully)- even myrah came that day like this only aarav, at that time you was pampering her and now when I did the same you are behaving as if I murder someone.

Listening her aarav immediately move out of room but soon came back with a toy car with which myrah plays and hand it over to her.

Diya( confused)- what's this?

Aarav-( giving tight lip smile)- a toy car. Play with it

Diya- what but why? I'm not a kid.

Aarav-( making shock face)- you are not?

Diya- ( making bad face) no

Aarav-( glaring) then why are you acting like one Dumbo?

Listening him everyonee laughs and karan smacked his head chuckling whereas Diya was burning in anger.

Seeing her myrah's little brain calculated something and she whispered in Manik's ear.

Myrah- papajii please hold myrah's car, she might throw it in anger.

Manik-( chuckling a little) it's nothing like this Princesss.

Myrah ( shaking her head vigorously)- it is papajii... please please please.

Seeing her pleading so much Manik agreed and started moving towards her and at the same time Diya throw it making myrah shreak in surprise but thankfully Manik caught it in right time.

Myrah immediately got down from Manik's arms and shouted loudly- see see I told you na. What if you wouldn't have caught it on time? Why she always gets angry on small things as well?

Manik was too shocked to react while Nandini was surprised too. She immediately picked myrah up and whispered something in her ears.

Nandini- baby, don't say anything for now okay. You are my good girl na?

Myrah( whispering sadly)- okay.

Cabir- ( sternly) are you mad Diya?

Varun- it was all joke Diya, why are you making it a issue? Hit aarav If you want to, make fun of him as well but why so much anger man?

Seeing situation going out of control karan sighed and calmly said- okay enough. I'm hungry, let's eat something.

Everyone understood what he is trying to do so all agreed and sat down to eat. Karan picked up his coffee and again settled beside mrudula.

Karan ( forwarding his cup towards her)- wanna taste?

Mrudula ( giving small smile)- no I'm good.

Karan-sure?

Mrudula- yeah, you drink it. You will feel relaxed.

Karan ( sipping his coffee)- yeah, why didn't you wake me up? Your back must be paining n? Wanna lie down? I'll get up.

Mrudula- no Karan, I'm completely fine. Don't worry. You didn't even sleep for 20 mins. Btw, I'm going to my house tonight.

Karan-(freaking out) what? Why? Stay naa

Varun- what happened?

Karan-( making sad pout)  she is going to her house tonight.

Everyone giggles looking at his face but Manik and Karan were making sad pout.

Manik- whyy princess?? Stay na, tomorrow I'll drop all of you to school. After school you can go to your house.

Mrudula- (giggling) appa, I haven't spend time with mom dad since long so before dad comes here for fighting with you, let me go and spend some time with him.

Manik( murmuring angrily)- I'm so jealous of that sanki. You should have been born in our house. I wouldn't have let you go to him for once huh.

Everyone giggles while karan said in a mocking tone- bahu bnake laa tou rha hu. Vo kaafi nahi Hai?
(I'm already bringing her here by making her your daughter in law. Isn't it enough?)

Everyone was laughing to no extent while Mrudula smacked him blushingly.

Manik( laughing)- that's more than enough.

Nandini ( getting up laughingly)- stop it guys, don't tease my baby.

Saying this she hugged mrudula who hide herself in her arms making everyone smile. In all this no one noticed but Diya was burning in pure rage. She is absolutely hating the fact that mrudula is having all the attention and love of Karan which she wants.
