It was past midnight. All were in deep slumber. The house was so silent. But, it seemed as if sleep was far far away from someone's eyes. Someone who had caught the fever of love. Someone whose heart was beating fast due to the newly found love. Someone who couldn't yet believe his fate and how unexpected the day was...

Karan was standing at the balcony, gazing at the night sky. It was cloudy so no twinkling stars in the sky were visible. Yet Karan was looking at it, somewhat lost in his thoughts. 

K: (thinking) yeh jo sab hua.. monu aur mere beech.. wo nazdeekiyaan, wo weakness, wo ki..kiss.. was that real?? Kya yeh sab sachme hua tha ya mera dream tha?? ARGH karan.. kahan khoya hua tha me... hakikat jaisa ehsaas to hai.. par lag to sapne jaisa raha.. kya karun.. Monu se puchhu? Nahi nahi.. what if yeh sapna tha?? monu to mujhe maar hi daalegi... naa baba naa karan.. itna risk nahi lena... par what if it was real?? kya karun kya karun kya karun... 

In monami's room

Monami woke up feeling thirsty. She took the bottle from her side table only to find it empty. 

Mo: (yawning) ek to itni neend aarahi.. aur pyaas bhi lagi hai.. yeh sab na uss khadoos ki galti hai.. usike khyaalon me khote hue so gayi aur bottle me pani hai ya nahi dekhna bhulgayi.. very bad khadoos shergil.. (sigh) chal monu.. paani bhar ke laate aur shaanti se so jaate. 

She comes out of the room and moves towards the kitchen. She drank water there itself and filled the bottle. On the way back to the room, her eyes fell on the balcony door which was open.

Mo: yeh balcony door khula kyun hai.. bhabhi band karna bhul gyi hongi shayad.. 

She went to close the door and saw Karan lost in his thoughts. A smile crept on her face seeing him and her mind went to their moments a few hours ago. 

She tiptoed to him and stood beside him. He had still not realized monami's presence. Monami kept her hand on the parapet, near karan's hand, and touched his right little finger with her left's. 

As soon as Karan's trance broke, the first name he said was of monami.

K: Monami

He looked at his side and kept on looking. Monami was smiling at him, Karan was unable to take his eyes off her. Monami snapped her finger in front of him to bring him to the real world. 

Mo: Kahan khoo gaye?? 
K: Ka..kahi..kahin nahi (not looking into her  eyes)

Monami found it weird.

Mo: To meri taraf dekh ke bolo.. nazarein kyun chura rahe?

K: me?? na..nazar..naa.. me kahan.. na..nhi to..

Mo: To itna atak atak ke kyun bolrahe ho.. aakhir hua kya? (in mind: lagta hai kiss ke wajah se sharmaraha) 

K: (in mind) Ab tumhein kaise bolun kya horaha.. agar wo sab sapna tha to to me gaya..

Mo: KARAN!!

K: aahh..haan chilla kyun rahi ho raat ko

Mo: 100 baar bulane ke baad bhi nahi sunoge to chila ungi na! huh khadoos kahin ka.. ab chup chap batao kya sochrahe ho.. aur ek to tum yeh meri taraf dekh kyun nahi rahe. 

K: woo.. me kuchh sochraha..bas.. aur kuch nahi.m

Mo: achha.. to itne paseene kyun aarahe tumhein? Kya chhupa rahe ho.. sach sach batao nahi to...

Karan, who was already troubled by his thoughts, wanted to get rid of monu's questions. So unintentionally he blurted out everything..

K: menesapnemetumheinkisskiya..nahi..sapnemetumnemujhekisskiya

Mo: Hein? Kya?

K: Wo..monu..wo..

Mo: kya phirse wo wo me wo Karan..sidha sidha bolo kya bolna hai

K: (innocently) monu wo sorry mera koi intention nahi tha aisa..par idk kaise.. wo..mene ek sapna dekha.. and..usme..wo.. humdono..hu...humdono...

Mo: humdono kya?

K: (closing his eyes) hum dono ne kiss karliya..

Monami heard this and wanted to laugh so loud.. yet she controlled herself..

Mo: (in mind) achha ji.. mtlb Karan ko wo sab sapna lagraha.. theek hai phir.. hum bhi khel lete thoda..

Mo: (to karan) K..ka..Karan...yeh..tum... (looking here and there and pretending to be awkward)

K: mo..monu.. I.. didn't mean that.. i.... mujhe nahi pata wo..sapna..I am sorry..

But hamari monu hasi kahan control karpaati.. She started laughing making Karan shocked

K: mo..monu tum hasi kyun rahi ho..

Mo: (after a good laugh) Achha..to tumne mujhe sapne me kiss kiya..

K: Haan.. NAAA.. MENE NAHI..TUMNE MUJHE KISS KIYA..

Mo: (laughing) Achha..to mtlb.. mene tumhein kiss kiya..

K: haan (nodding his head)

Mo: kya hum dono ek kamre me the.. tum mere paas aaye... mujhe wall se pin kiya.. aur phir mene tumhare saath bhi wahi kiya..

K: Haan haan

Mo: Achha.. to phir kya humdono bed pe gir gaye aur tum mere Kareeb aaye?

K: (remembering the moment and blushing) haaan.

Mo: aur kya mene tumhein kiss kiya?

K: bilkul aisa hi hua tha.. Tumhein kaise pata!!!

Monami stood there with her hands crossed at her chest.. She looked at Karan with unbelievable eyes.. Karan connected the dots and his eyes widened realising that all those moments wasn't a fraction of his imagination but a chapter of his reality!

K: mo...mon..monami..wo...wo sab ... sach tha??

Mo: (cupping his face) Haan khadoos shergil.. wo sab sach tha...

K: (with slight tears of happiness) Mtlb.. u love me??

Mo: Tum batao.. do u love me?

Karan hugged her tightly and hid his face in her crook..

K: Apni jaan se zyaada..

Mo: I love u too Karan..

K: (looking into her eyes and asking in complaining tone) To.. to wo shivam se rishta.. wo vd wala majak.. wo kyun kiya? Han?

Mo: Karan wo sab natak tha.. me kya.. ghar me sab jaante the wo Natak tha.. Pata hai.. hum sabko bhanak laggayi thi ki tumhein pyaar hogaya hai.. to bas kuchh chhote chhote majak kiya humne.. taaki tum apni dil ki baat Bahar le aao..

K: aur agar me nahi laata..to..

Mo: to kya.. tumhein kidnap karke zabardasti shaadi karleti tumse.. apne pyaar ko aise thodi jaane doon..

Karan chuckled and kissed her forehead..

K: I love you monami... really really love you..

Monami sat on her one knee and extended her hand to Karan.. He held her hand quickly..

Mo: Mr.Karan Shergil... I love u a lot.. will u allow me to call u mine? (Karan blushed) Boyfriend banoge?

Karan just picked her in his arms and twirled...Both were laughing but making sure they don't wake other's up...

Karan was happy that monami finally accepted his proposal... Monami was happy that she finally got her khadoos shergil back❤️

Karan kept her down.. Both looked at each other with unknown emotions in their eyes.. Karan joined their foreheads together.. both were breathing heavily.. Eyes closed.. it was a peaceful silence❤️ They could hear each other's heart beat❤️  They leaned towards each other.. Karan rubbed Monu's lips and asked,

K: May I?

Mo: Agli baar se puchhna mat... You are the only one who has this right..

Without wasting any more seconds,  slammed their lips together closing the gap between them..

They kissed each other slowly, both equally reciprocating the kiss and enjoying the moment.. Monu's hand were at Karan's neck and Karan had securely held monami's waist.. It was a decent kiss... there was no rush... no lust... it was pure love❤️ The moonlight reflecting on them was creating a more romantic atmosphere....

They broke the kiss but there foreheads were still joined.. Monami felt shy under his gaze and hugged him tightly, hiding her face...

K: Kya hua Rani sahiba.. room me to bohut bold banrahi thi.. ab kya hua..

Monami pushed him slightly and was about to go inside when Karan pulled her back into his arms and whispered in her ears...

K: I am lucky to have u as my girlfriend...

Monami looked at him with moisten eyes.. She hugged him again and finally went inside.. Karan too followed...

Karan went inside his room.. And..

And started jumping like a monkey😂 Afterall his love accepted his proposal... no no... his love proposed him to be her boyfriend.. He was jumping on the ground excitedly...

He took the long pillow and danced with it, assuming it to be Monami.. He wanted to scream with joy..

His excitement was stopped when he received a phone call.. he picked the call immediately...

K: bhaiya itni raat ko call..

P: (irritated) Bhaiya ke bache!! Soja chup chap aur hume sone de... Kyun bandar banke kud raha upar... neeche hamari neend kharab horahi..

Karan bit his tongue realising it..

K: wo.. sorry bhaiya.. aap sojaao.. me bhi soraha hoo. Good night

P: Haan haan good night..

He cut the call.. Karan hit is forehead lightly and smiled sheepishly... He opened Monami's photo in his phone and laid on the bed..

K: (to photo) Hmm... to aap hamarj jaan leke maanengi rani sahiba.. par hamari  Jaan to aap ban chuke ho.... Can I call u mine monami?? Ohh sorry.. tum to ho hi meri.. finally❤️ I love you monu...❤️

He hugged the photo and slept peacefully... dreaming about his love❤️

I know it's a late update... but recently so many relatives were coming to our house each day for something or the other invitations...

So I was busy there🥲
