What's your wish?

"Oohhh! I can't wait till Christmas comes!" The little chocolate brown haired girl beamed as she raced towards her flower decorated bed.

"ME TOO HUMAN! I WONDER WHAT PRESENTS WILL I GET THIS CHRISTMAS" the tall skeleton followed her behind, as his eye sockets sparkled with happiness.

"heh...I wish there wouldn't be too much snow." Sans added, adjusting the knitted blue scarf wrapped around his neck.

"WHY IS THAT BROTHER?"

"because you know it'll be SNOW hard to plow the snow if we're gonna get SNOWDIN." He emphasized each word.

"SANS..."

"it'll be a skeleTON of work to do, amerite?" Sans winked, sending his brother to act his' well known annoyed mannerisms.

"I ENTIRELY DISOWN YOU BROTHER" As if well timed, Frisk and Sans bursted out laughing on the side of the bed.

"HUMAN! DO NOT ENCOURAGE HIM." Papyrus frowned.

"Sorry Papy, Its one of the best puns I've heard from sans and it was a pretty good one. I just can't help it." Frisk wiped away a stray tear as her laughter ceased.

Sans continued laughing but he soon stopped when Frisk nudged him. "hey, why don't I tell you guys a story." Sans suggested.

"YAAAAY STORY TIME!" The two squealed in excitement as they started ranting for it.

"ok, i can't promise that this would be a nice one because....." Sans stopped in his words for a dramatic pause and snapped his fingers, killing the lights.

He pulled out a flashlight and shoved it under his face with those tiny white pinpricks begone. "this would be scary"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Papyrus and Frisk pulled the blankets and hid underneath it while their teeth chattered in fear.

Sans only snorted and laughed at them as he flicked the lights on again. "hey, i was just kidding!" Sans continued on laughing at two annoyed faces.

His laughter ceased, noticing that nobody joins in with him. "soooooooo, does any of you still wanna hear my story?" He asked sitting beside the bed.

"Nah uh you'll prank us again" Frisk pouted and raised both of her brows.

"pffft, again?" Sans raised a non existent brow, doubtful of what she just said.

Frisk nodded and pulled the blankets away. "Yeah, remember that time with the boogey man?"

"Aaand that scared you?~" Sans teased.

"No! Definitely not!" Frisk crossed her arms.

"then what do you have in mind, kiddo?" Sans asked daringly.

"You scared Santa, Sans!" Papyrus and Frisk said in unison.

"pshh c'mon, it wasn't Santa." Sans mused. "it was just king asgore dressed as Santa." He explained as if its the most obvious thing in the whole wide world, The two just stared at him in disbelief.

"ehh forgedaboutit, sides, it was just an accident" He chuckled lightly.

"Haha yeah, An accident that was meant for us" Frisk said sarcastically and turned her head and payrus' head away from him.

Sans frowned and approached the two.
"look i'm sorry, i promise that ill never do it again." Frisk then faced him and raised a brow.

"Promise?"

"yup, cross my soul, hope to be stabbed, stuck a ketchup in my eye."He recited the oath. "but don't get your hopes up that high that'll I'll keep that promise." Sans warned.

"Yaaaay no more pranking!" Frisk rejoiced and jumped, almost touching the ceiling.

"what? wait...i take it back!" Sans demanded, waving his hands in the air.

"THERE'S NO TURNING BACK FROM A PROMISE, BROTHER!" Papy and Frisk both hi fived in the air.

"fine....buuuuut you can't forbid me from telling puns~" he teased, catching the attention of the two.

"only IF you can catch me~" he taunted and suddenly disappeared in thin air leaving a mist of blue.

Frisk hopped off the bed and tried to get Sans on her grasp as Sans teleported from place to place around the room.

"try to catch me~" Papyrus grabbed a blanket and draped the blanket onto Sans.

"GOTCHA!" Papyrus yelled but Sans escaped in time.

"gotta try harder than that paps"

"Hey Sans!"

"wha-oooof!" Sans stumbled from the pillow that Frisk threw on his face while Frisk laughed and got Papyrus a pillow.

"PILLOW FIGHT!" Papyrus declared and they started smashing each other with pillows as the feather stuffing flew right off their faces.

They all stumbled down on the bed giggling and catching their breath. "SANS, WHAT TIME IS IT?" Papyrus interrupted.

"its 11:40 pm" Sans replied, glancing at his Bone themed wrist watch. "OH MY SPAGHETTI! I FORGOT TO WRAP MY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!" Papyrus face palmed.

"i thought you wrapped them last night? didn't we bought wrappers at the store the other day?" Sans questioned, sitting up.

"YES BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, I FORGOT SINCE I DID THE LAUNDRY." Papyrus eyed a shrugging Sans as he hopped off the bed and reached for the door.

"LATERS! I'LL SEE YOU IN A FEW MINUTES! BYE HUMAN! BYE BROTHER!" Papyrus bid his goodbye and shut the door close.

"bye, paps"

"welp, I guess it'll be just the two of us. It's a good thing that I didn't leave coz I know you'll get BONEly, ey Frisk?" Sans chuckled.

"Frisk?"

Frisk only sat by the window and stared at the snow, falling down to the pavements of the street. "kid?, is there something wrong?" Sans asked.

Frisk heaved a sigh, trying to brush off the sad thought in her mind. "Nah, I'm fine! Just wanted to go outside." She reassured but her smile falters.

"ok? why don't we go up the roof?" Sans suggested.

"Sure" Frisk nodded.

"Make sure you grab your sweater with you, its colder than you think it is up there." Frisk slipped her magenta striped sweater on and held Sans' hand for teleportation.

The winter breeze blew and slapped Frisk's face but she didn't seem to mind the coldness. The two sat on the cold snow, observing the beautiful view.

"I wish I could stay...." Frisk started, her sadness taking in. "same...but how hard could LEAFing be?" Sans chuckled, trying to set back Frisk's happy mood

But unfortunately, he failed. Sans tried his best not to frown for he wanted to leave Frisk some great happenings before she finally leaves for academic reasons and purposes.

Its hard for a 10 year old like her to leave her friends for a couple of years. Sure, she'll come back but its still sad to see someone who's been a part of your life leave.

"hey, kid...as much as I'd like to stop you. i can't, this is for your own good." Sans sighed, embracing Frisk's tiny figure making her burst into tears.

"shhh don't cry, we'd still see each other after a few years, time flies fast. i'm sure that by the time you'd come back, papyrus already appreciates my puns." Sans, Wiping her tears away made her feel a bit comfortable.

"Haha...I-i guess you're right...." Frisk smiled, her voice unsteady but calm.

Moving on from the melancholic state, They just focused on the scene before them.

"Stars...I've never seen them in awhile, its great to see them again." Frisk grinned.

Sans laid down and admired the night sky embedded with sparkles. Experiencing this moment once again made him reminisce the great times he had on the surface.

"yup, its nice to see the surface again." Sans added.

"i'm glad everything came into place. you have my thanks kid, i'm happy you chose the right path." Frisk smiled in reply and scooted beside Sans as she laid down with a soft thud.

"Anything for my friends and family, Everyone deserves the freedom and the chance to be free and to change." Frisk said, staring above.

"Even the worst ones, they deserve mercy. Even how hard it may seem, I believe that they'll change for the good."

Sans smiled genuinely, sitting up."you'd be a  great ambassador one day, kid. I'd say the best!" Frisk giggled as Sans ruffled her hair in a mess.

"Hey! No fair! How come you can mess with my hair while I can't." Frisk pouted as she tried to fix hair back in place.

"coz one, I don't have hair and two, I love messing around." Sans chuckled while Frisk groaned.

"Uh huh, but you forgot fact number three." A mischievous grin plastered on the girl's face.

"wha-oof!"

"GET DUNKED ON!!!!" Frisk shouted as if its a battle cry, she pulled the hood down, covering Sans' dumbfounded face as she giggled.

"hey! that's my line! It doesn't suite you, Its more dramatic if I'd say it." Sans demanded as a blue aura surrounded Frisk, sending her to float in midair.

"Worth it!" Frisk squealed as she was raised a meter up high in the air. Sans eye blazed brighter as Frisk did a few somersaults in the air.

"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Frisk dived, landing on Sans' arms. "geez kid, you're getting heavier." Grunting, Sans implied.

A sudden sparkle caught the little girl's eye as it shot before them. "Sans, look! A shooting star! Make a wish! Make a wish!" The excited girl leapt up in down, overjoyed to see such a wonderful scene.

"watch it pal, I've never asked for a death wish." He groggily said, nauseated as he felt his nonexistent stomach churning.

"Sorry Sans, its actually my first time to see a shooting star." She shyly said.

"no prob, whaddya wish for?" He said, coughing lightly.

"I didn't wish for anything" A confused face was plastered on Sans' face, repeating the words in his head.

"Because all my wishes are granted, and there's nothing else to ever ask for... all I ever wished was to set everyone free and make all my friends happy with contentment." She said, swaying her foot from side to side by the edge of the roof.

"So, I'm laying this one on you."

"What's your wish, Sans?" She asked, not prying her eyes away from him.

"m-me..? I-i-" It took a moment for him to process her question, since it never really came over him because No one really asked him such question.

"Frisk, its time to go!" Toriel called from below, As Asgore started to put the last luggage in the van.

"Be there in a minute!" Frisk replied back, her heart pounding, taking the ping that her time is up.

"I guess you never thought of it." She stood up, dusting the snow off her blue shorts. Sans stood up, a sad expression on his face.

"Well, I better get going" Frisk chuckled lightly, a small blush abruptly spreading on her cheeks.

"i guess i'll see yah later, alligator...." Frisk looked bothered for a moment but she reached for her toes and gave Sans a small peck on the cheek.

"Merry Christmas, Sans" Frisk bid him, handing a medium sized box, wrapped neatly with a blue ribbon.

"Once the shooting star comes back, I'll also be back to witness you wish. Don't forget that." She grinned, with that hopeful and heartwarming smile of hers.

Sans only stood there, frozen. Touching the peck where Frisk left as the heat sprawled onto his cheekbones.

Frisk dashed inside the house and popped out the doorstep below, giving Undyne, Alphys, and all her other friends a goodbye hug as they all exchanged presents in behalf of Christmas Eve and Frisk's departure.

Sans stood there on the roof, watching the van leave until it was just a speck in the distance.

He just stared at the present in his hands and he unwrapped it. The box revealed a small snow decorated picture frame with a picture of  him and Frisk smiling widely at the camera and the familiar words "Don't Forget" written below it.

He sighed, as a small smile crept on his face, repeating the last words Frisk left him.

"Once the shooting star comes back, I'll also be back to witness you wish. Don't forget that."

"i just hope i'll see you again, sooner...."

||Sans' POV||

"SANS! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL AND REMIND YOU TO PICK UP YOUR SOCK!" Paps yelled, infuriated of my laziness.

I just gave him a shrug and continued dozing off on the sofa. I ended up sleeping in the living room coz of watching late night shows.

I'm just bone tired, though I don't really do much stuff. "Sorry paps, I guess I'm just BOOOONE this way." I winked.

"AAAARGH! BUT, PLEASE. BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR THINGS." he reasoned, taking a deep breath.

"mkay"

"I'LL BE AT THE STORE TO BUY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AND SOME GOODIES, WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME?" papyrus asked, slipping a bonnet on his head.

"uhh........okay, just give me a minute." I replied and snapped my fingers to teleport myself in my room.

I opened the closet and slipped a sweater on. I know, me, wearing a sweater? Sounds weird but I felt something in my bones to, well, try something new.

After all, all I ever wear was my old blue hoodie. I slipped my blue sneakers on until an old picture frame caught my eye by my nightstand.

I smiled at the familiar person I've been missing for 8 years now. It makes me wonder how she is now. Frisk never really left an emotion that struck me hard when she was still here but when she left. I felt, sad and confused.

Never really knew why but I guess its just what missing someone feels like. "SANS! ARE COMING OR WHAT?" papyrus called, causing me to almost drop the frame.

"c-coming!" I put the frame back into place and teleported by the doorstep.

"FOR A SECOND MOMENT THERE, I THOUGHT THAT YOU DOZED OFF AGAIN." papyrus calmly said, shutting the door lock.

"heh, not really, just thought of getting dressed up something new." I casually said, as papyrus jammed the car keys then we hit the road.

~Toim Skep!~

I just sat on the bench by a cafe beside the store, waiting for paps to finish his shopping extravaganza. Yes, extravaganza, Paps always prepares like a Santa Claus on Christmas day. Fully loaded with presents and surprises.

I guess mettaton influenced him too much. They've actually been dating for a couple months now, their dates would mostly be visiting his studio and shopping for a whole day.

How did I know? Well uh...I've been watching them. Not in a creepy way or such But as a protective brother.

I honestly don't like mettaton for paps, he's too flirty and I don't want paps to experience his first heart break from a glittery robot.

Sometimes he'd just pull paps away from me, I'm just lucky that paps' free today. That's the reason why I wanted to go with him today, To spend some time with him.

I wonder how Undyne and Al are doing, I've never really saw them for a few days now. I heard that they're visiting places around the globe. They actually got married last week.

I sighed as I watched a guy giving out a coffee cup to a costumer. It reminded me of Grillby. Grillby built himself a Cafe with Muffet a few blocks away from us.

And luckily, their business is going just well. I casually visit him every time I'm home alone, 'sides, talking to a friend passes a lot of time, amerite?

I stood up by the time I saw papyrus exiting the store and boy, he's carrying a ton of grocery and shopping bags.

"seems like you doubled every bag than last years', any occasion?" I asked, offering my help to carry out the other bags.

"I SEE YOU NOTICED, WELL, OF COURSE CHRISTMAS IS COMING AND ASIDE FROM THAT VISITORS ARE COMING." Paps grinned, as he looked even happier than ever.

"i guess that it'll be just like last Christmas...." I mumbled as paps started listing all the people who'd come.

"-VISITORS LIKE METTATON, UNDYNE, ALPHYS, TORIEL, ASGORE, GRILLBY, MUFFET, MONSTER KID AND-

"FRISK!!!!!!" Paps squealed dropping all the bags. My adrenaline rushed as I caught all the bags using my magic, I set all the bags down as I started talking.

"paps, i know you're trying to make a good joke but this that you're pulling isn't a nice on-

Weird...A sensation started buzzing in my non existent stomach as I felt something weird rising up in my chest.

There, I saw HER, right before me. Frisk....She...changed so much....far from the little pal I used to know.

She grew taller, but not as tall as me. Her chocolate brown shoulder length hair now wavy and a bit longer that reached by her elbows that's half tied up in a neat braid by the sides of her temples.

Nothing really changed from her sense of fashion. Still the same striped sweater and blue shorts. Instead of boots, she's wearing red sneakers.

Its just....wow....

"Sans? Sans? Yellow? Earth to Sans? Hey, its me your best pal! Frisk!" She exclaimed, still the same cheery and bubbly attitude in her voice as she tackled me into a short hug.

"uhh.......oh! F-frisk! I can't believe you managed to KETCHUP from my height!" I chuckled lightly, trying to keep it cool.

But I guess not, since my cheeks are fuming hot blue. "Haha yeah, I'm not small anymore! And whoa, you've grown handsome." She chuckled and trailed off her words, a bit taken back from what she said.

"heh, yeah...thanks" I managed to grin and break the awkward atmosphere. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? I THOUGHT YOU'D ARRIVE BY CHRISTMAS EVE?" papyrus asked, carrying the bags once again.

"Oh, I was just buying some coffee and a few things Mom wanted me to get for her. So, well there's been a change of plans from my 'ambassador schedule'. They gave me an early Christmas Break!" She explained her smile spreading wider.

"cool, finally the ambassador Frisk eh? so, when did you dropped by in town?" I asked, joining in to their conversation.

"Just yesterday, I was about to tell you guys but I figured out it'll be cool if it'll be a surprise."

"And, well, I didn't expect that it'll be this soon!" She beamed, chuckling of the turn of events.

"INDEED, WE NEVER EXPECTED TO SEE YOU HERE OF ALL PLACES." Papyrus chimed in.

Suddenly, A phone rang. It was Frisk's since it came from her pocket, She hinted us to give her a minute as she walked a few meters away from us.

"Hiya Mom!....yeah, I got it....not yet, I'll stop by there in a few moments....yup! I'll be home in an hour or two and I already met up with Sans and Papyrus!...Yeah, its unexpected....OK, I'll ask them. Bye! I love you, See you later!" She hung up, and approached us.

"Mom invites you guys to drop by for Christmas dinner, Is that alright?"

"dinner...?"

"WHY OF COURSE! THE RIDE IS ON ME!" Papyrus proudly puffed his chest and zoomed like a race car outside the store.

"Papyrus! Wait! I still have to drop by the clothes store." She called, trying to catch up paps' sprinting.

"hehe, don't worry, I have plans to go too as well." I said, sauntering behind.

"Great! Its never too late for Christmas shopping huh."

"you could say that, but for papyrus, Its always Christmas shopping day."

"I HEARD YOU SANS" Papyrus called.

Frisk chuckled, clutching her shoulder bag as I chuckled along with her, thus heading outside.

|| Frisk's POV ||

"Where is it...." I mumbled, shoving a number of clothes by the racks. I still need to find an appropriate attire to wear.

I pursed my lips, trailing my fingertips on the clothes that hung up on each rack. All colors of the rainbow, dark and light saturation flooded my vision.

After walking around a few aisles, I finally found the clothing I was looking for. I went to the counter and- whoa, the waiting line's long.

It might take me a few minutes to get home. Hnnggggg, I hope mom wouldn't worry much. Better text her then.

Beep! My phone rung, receiving a smiley face from mom. Great! I might as well text Sans.

|| Sans' POV ||

"WHAT'S TAKING FRISK SO LONG?" Paps said out of the blue, worry filled in his eyes.

"maybe the waiting line's long" I replied, but I can't help worrying too. After pacing for around, I texted her, In time she replied.

Frisk: Sans, I guess I have to stay planted here on the waiting line. You and Papyrus may leave me already.

Sans: no, we'll wait for you. tori would have me beheaded if something bad ever happens to you. o_o

Frisk: Haha Okay, Thanks! ^^

Sans: so, where are you at?
(I just remembered the soup store vine with papyrus lol xD)

Frisk: I'm at aisle 3

"frisk's fine paps, she's just- uhhh...where did he go?" I shot my eyes everywhere trying to find paps but there's no sign of his tall figure.

This is why I never tear my eyes away from pap, I really need to keep an EYE SOCKET out for him. Abruptly, I sprinted inside the store.

|| Frisk's POV ||

Icicles on bicycles! The line isn't even moving! I leaned on my right, trying to get a clear view of the counter, but it feels like a mile away! Aside from that, I'm at the VERY END of the line.

I groaned and started tapping my foot. I wish Sans would be here soon. Suddenly, I smelled a burning scent behind me. Ugh...what could be worse than this, I covered my nose as my face scrunched up from the choking scent. The Ambassador, I am, turned around and saw myself, face to face to Doggo, smoking doggy treats.

"Excuse me, Doggo, Smoking is prohibited in these parts!" I protested, thus, I captured his attention.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know Miss Frisk~" He spit the burnt cigarette treat and cooed my name, inching closer to me, making me freeze on the spot.

(I never tried to write a scene like this ._. and it feels....weird.)

"You should be! Your doing may cause such disease to you and to the people around you here." My voice, trying to sound firm and strong.

"Hah, like I do care. But, let's move on from the chitchat, shall we?" he cockily smiled, cornering me by a wall, his paws trailing down by the sides of my face.

"Scared are you, sweet cheeks ?~" He grinned. I turned my head away from his grasp as he looked a bit shocked.

"Unhand me! I'm the ambassador!"

"A feisty girl ey? I like it~" His deep voice sent shivers down my body as he held me in place. Pain surged from my wrists as his claws gripped them tight.

Tears formed under my eyes as I tried squirming from his grasp. "GET OFF ME YOU BASTARD!!!" I screamed, wanting escape.

The name echoed in my mind repeatedly as I called out the only person i wanted to see right now. "SAAAAAAAAAAAAAANS!!!!!"

|| Third Person's POV ||

Frisk shrieked, calling Sans name making the skeleton from the other side of the store alarmed.

"FRISK!!!" Sans dashed full speed to where Frisk was, his mind clouded with worry and there he started fuming with anger.

"doggo, you might wanna get your filthy paws off my girlfriend...." Doggo looked behind him and saw Sans with a shadow on his plain dark face. Hearing the last word made Frisk a bit shocked and flustered.

"Ha! Like hell I'd do" Doggo said, spitting his words like venom.

"mkay, you asked for it.." Sans faced him with a grim look on his face, making Frisk tremble from her friend's expression.

"DO YOU WANNA HAVE A BAD TIME?" A Blue Aura surrounded Doggo as he was lifted up in midair, finally letting Frisk go. Doggo gritted his teeth as he started thrashing around using his daggers, aiming at Sans.

He caught Sans off guard, sliding from left to right, avoiding every blade. thus dropping Doggo down. Without hesitation, Doggo lunged before Sans but Sans was able to counter the knife with his bone.

They Crossed weapons and attacks, one after the other, Turning the place into absolute havoc. The battle was about to end with Sans ready to impale a now half blind Doggo.

"SANS DON'T!" Frisk called out as the two opponents stopped in their tracks. With Sans distracted, Doggo slashed Sans by his arm and ran away.

"SANS!" Frisk cried out, as she ran towards her injured friend. Now, a clear expression of hurt on his face.

"SANS! WHERE ARE YOU? SA- OH MY! LETS TAKE YOU TO THE DREEMURR HOUSEHOLD, IMMEDIATELY!" Papyrus carried his tired brother alongside with Frisk.

"eh, this is nothing."

Both of them exchanging concern and worried glances to Sans as they hopped on the Car and drove to Toriel's.

~ Toim Skep!~

"Sans, hold still, would you?" Frisk frowned as she started applying treatment and medicinal concoction she made for Sans.

Sans only flinches, ever time the sticky liquid touches his wounds and bruises. However, he tries not to show it.

Meanwhile, A sad mixed with a bitter expression is plastered on Toriel's furry face.

"Sans, I'm so sorry this happened to you. You risked your life just to save my child." Toriel knitted her brows, while handing a clean towel to Frisk.

"nah, Its fine and its no big deal if its for Frisk." Sans replied, rubbing the back of his skull with his free hand.

"I SHALL COOK YOU THE BEST SPAGHETTI!! FOR SURE IT'LL MAKE YOU FEEL A LOT BETTER, BROTHER." Papyrus said as he walked in the kitchen, assisting Toriel to cook.

"Thanks for saving me back there, Sans. I thought its the end of the line for me." Frisk smiled, wrapping tge bandage on Sans' injured left arm.

"as i have said earlier, its no big deal if its for....uh..you." His smile a bit wavered, The small heat sprawled on his cheeks.

Frisk returned him a shy smile, as she reminisced the last word that struck her with such emotion.

"So Sans, about the-

"ohhahaIslippedmytonguebackthereIwasabouttosayfriendgirl" He said in one breath, flustered of the unconvincing alibi he just brought up.

"Oh...? I meant asking you about the relationship of Metta and Papy." Frisk giggled but then it ceased a bit.

Sans chuckled lightly, starting to curse mentally for the wrong move. "its good, they're, uh....well deciding to tie the knot." Frisk smiled and gave a pat on Sans shoulder.

"I'm happy for him, Sans. You should be too." Sans only sighed and affirmed.

"WHERE'S THE LITTLE PUNK!! WHO DARED TO HURT HER?!!" The whole house shook as a glinting spear eye blinded the two.

"C-calm d-down, u-u-undyne!" A short figure followed behind. The two visitors stopped on their tracks as well as Frisk and Sans. That's when realization hit them. "Undyne! Alphys! Its so nice to see the both of you!" Frisk skipped as she tackled her old friends a never ending hug.

"Heck yeah! Feelings are mutual, Frisk." Undyne's expression shifted, showing one of her toothy grins as alphys waved shyly with a smile on her face.

"sup, peeps." Sans casually said, as Frisk beckoned the two to seat. "Is it just me or Sans looks...injured?" Alphys asked, a bit troubled.

"oh hehe, just rattled some bones."

"To cut the story short, Doggo stabbed Sans in the arm at the clothing store." Frisk explained, feeling uneasy and sorry for the trouble she caused.

"We heard it in the news this afternoon." Undyne's angry expression took over again.

"We didn't got the whole scoop so we came to visit you, earlier than expected." Alphys spoke evenly.

"Pshh!I hope that scumbag rots in jail." Undyne scoffed, trying to reel her anger in.

"anyways, touring around the world ey?" Sans butted in, changing the whole conversation due to how Frisk scrunches her face in pity.

Undyne started sharing stories of all the fun they had after the years passed by, Alphys just adds some info or comments after Undyne speaks. The flow of the whole conversation is going swimmingly for everyone when Toriel and Papyrus joined in.

"Surprising, isn't it not? All of you finally found the love of your lives." Toriel chuckled, serving a slice of pie to Undyne.

"Not everyone, Toriel." Undyne grinned as all eyes were on Sans and Frisk.

"As much as I would love to leave my single pringle image, I still have to focus on being an ambassador." Frisk answered plainly, twirling the spaghetti on her plate.

"OH HO! IS THAT SO?"

"Frisk, my dear, I understand being an ambassador is a very hard responsibility to take but please, look onto the other side."

"Toriel's right punk! You can't just live being an ambassador forever! I can't let my bestie stay as a single pringle while we are enjoying our domestic lives! Besides, we brought this upon you."

Frisk's smile grew a bit. "Thanks, it'll happen at the right time, at the right moment."

"How about you, Sans?" Frisk asked.

"welp....I umm...uh....its a secret." Sans' cheeks were flushed blue.

"Awww cmon!" Undyne pouted.

"WHO IS IT BROTHER!! TELL ME! I SHALL KEEP IT A SECRET"

"Now, now, a secret remains a secret for him. Aside from that, we should prepare the dishes! It's almost Christmas eve!" Toriel clasped her paws together as everyone agreed with her notion.

"Sans? Frisk? Aren't you two coming?" Toriel asked, catching the attention of the two who stares blankly for minutes.

"In awhile, I still have to unpack my things." Frisk politely answered. Toriel then went off into the kitchen.

~A few minutes later~

"need some help?"

"Nah, I'm good." Frisk grunted, carrying a big box twice her seemingly small size up in the stairs.

"uh huh, that'll surely break your bones."

"You think, Looks like i have a choice." Frisk opposed.

Seeing Frisk carrying such a heavy box troubles him. It troubles his image as a gentleman, on the other hand, it might cause her to fall.

One more step and she's good to let go but then it happened. Losing her balance, she fell backwards. "i have the choice to help you." Sans reasoned as he levitated Frisk in the air as well as the box.

"You're just straining yourself, let me do this, I'm 18 already. I'm not small anymore."

"eh? the age yes, but from the height? I don't think so." Sans chuckled.

"We all have height issues, its normal." Frisk pouted as Sans set her down.

After placing the last book on the shelf, the two sat on the side of the bed, exhausted. "welp, tried aren't we?"

"No, its just my face....." Rubbing the sides of her eyes as she started to yawn.
Trailing off her words, she slowly leaned to Sans.

Feeling that weird sensation in his chest again, he began asking himself. 'Do I really like her...? It sounds crazy but I can't argue to the fact that I care for her....I didn't even know what came over me by the time I saw her in trouble. I did miss her this close to me....' Sans thought, ruffling the hair of a now asleep Frisk.

'heh...I guess I'm falling for you'

But Sans jerked from pain causing Frisk to regain her consciousness, he flinched from the touch of Frisk's head by his other arm.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to fall asleep!!" Frisk apologized frantically.

"sheesh kid, calm down. its no big deal." Sans waved his hand in the air, pacifying Frisk in the process.

"Aren't you gonna take a nap? I'm sure you'll feel a lot better by then." Frisk asked as she glanced at the clock.

"nope, I don't feel like napping..." Sans answered in a downturn voice as he stared blankly at the floor.

"You're having nightmares.... Aren't you?" Sans flinched upon hearing her question.

"ya know me to well, its not really a problem hehe"

"for now.." muttered under his breath.

Awkward silence came over the room till Sans broke the ice. "i'm heading on the roof. wanna come?"

Frisk nodded as they teleported to the same roof where they used to talk. The snow crunched down their feet as the familiar gust of wind blew through their warm faces.

"Ahh...I miss this view, never really changed much by the day I left." Hugging her knees to her chest, Watching the stars as she gazed in awe.

Sans feels unnerved as he noticed his wristwatch, most likely about to strike 12. 'Just a few more minutes, you can do it Sans.' He thought.

"hey Frisk"

"Hmm?"

"this just came to me, do you have any feelings for....I dunno.... anyone?" Sans asked, not making eye contact.

Frisk was in loss for words, as her cheeks heated up a bit. "Ahaha...Well, you got me..yup, I like someone." She started, as her smile grew.

"really? mind telling me? I'll tell ya mine if you did" Sans blurted, who seems very interested.

"Pssh! No way! As mom said, a secret is a secret. I'll keep it a secret if I were you." Frisk mused making Sans' face frown a bit.

"mkay, just tell me how this guy is."

"Wait...why are you so interested in asking me in the first place, hmm?" Frisk asked, her eyes squinted in pure suspicion.

"nothing, just wanted to know." Sans answered trying to play it cool but behind this act, his hands are starting to tremble inside the pockets of his sweater.

The wind blew her brown chocolate bangs as she simply nodded.

"He's one of the best people I ever knew....I've realized that i've been crushing on him ever since the day I broke the barrier." The heat on her face sprawled all over her cheeks, starting to feel the warmth taking over her chest.

"He's got that genuine smile that wipes all my worries away, he's the brightest star that lights the darkness around me." She sighed, her eyes twinkling , meaning ever words she says.

"So, who's the lucky girl?" Back on her upbeat attitude, she asked.

"w-welp, I'll just follow y-your lead." Sans smiled, staring at the distance.

"she's no ordinary girl, she's...well, a bit childish. she sees every single happiness in the darkness, no matter how hard she's trying....she stays determined. her laugh makes my day....even for a bottle of ketchup, i'd never give up on her." Frisk chuckled at the last sentence.

"as the years passed....." Sans stood on his feet, as Frisk did the same, dumbfounded she is.

"she asked me that simple question that got me into deep thought...."

"all through those years, i pieced my memories with her to give the answer." Confused Frisk is, of how their conversation is going but it was changed into awe. Out of the blue, a shooting star peeked into the sky and shot into the distance.

"I wish for you to be the star of my life, Frisk....I realized that you're the missing piece..the one who grants my wishes, the hope I see, the girl I see."  Frisk stood frozen as ice yet warmth clouded her heart, with that Sans closed the gap between them. Sharing the passionate kiss, Frisk melted.

"I thought you'd forget." She smiled, breaking free, tackling Sans into a tight hug. "course not, i never did."

"i love you, frisk. merry christmas."

"I love too, Sans. Merry Christmas." She snuggled onto his chest as he held her close watching the snow fall down the low lit streets.
