Healed
Good things must come to an end......

The doctors couldn't explain it. His bones were shattered when he arrived weeks ago. The human shouldn't be fully healed...at least...not today. Maybe in another month, but not today.
"So he healed fast?" Seokjin asked.
"It will appear so. Judging by the X-rays, he's been healed for the last two days." The Vet answered.
"But that's impossible. Humans can't heal like that, only hybrids. Aside from that, he's been complaining about pain in his arm and ankle."
"Hmm...." The Vet held his chin with his two fingers to think of some sort of explanation. "It may seem the pet has experienced some sort of phantom pain. His mind believed he was still in pain because of everyone telling him so."
Namjoon stayed laying down on the examination table while the two hybrids talked about his injuries. I'm healed? Why does it still hurt?
"I will bring in a nurse to saw off the cast and take his boot off." The Vet then walked out of the room, leaving Seokjin and Namjoon.
Seokjin sighed as he sat back in a waiting chair. Everything is going off script now. He's not a hybrid, could it be because he is mated to one? Seokjin kept his thoughts running when he felt a small tap on his shoulder.
"....Hyung..."
Seokjin looked up to see Namjoon staring at him. "Wrong? Me?"
"Nothing is wrong with you. You're just fine. Bones are healed, you will be going back to Yoongi soon."
Namjoon stares at Seokjin before laying back down. He doesn't want to go back to Yoongi, the cat is the reason why he was sent away. Too hot.
"What's wrong?" Seokjin noticed the sadness wash over the poor human.
"....I..."
"Alrighty. Let's get this cast off." The nurse barged in said with a saw in hand. "Try not to move, pet."
Namjoon did as told. He doesn't like the dog hybrid woman. She's too, passive aggressive, of course he didn't know there was a word for that.
"Finished." The nurse pulls the cast off Namjoon's shoulder and chest then placed it on the counter in the room. "The boot won't hurt or take long." She got right to work.
"Are there any after care that needs to be done for him?" Seokjin asked staring down at his phone. He needs to act like he doesn't care for the human. "He can take some arm therapy if you would like, but it is quite expensive for pets." The nurse took the last wrapping off the male and threw it in the trash. "There, I will contact the owner and see if...."
"He left me in charge of the thing. I'm sure you got his message?" Seokjin just wants to get out so he can come up with a way to keep Namjoon for at least another week.
"Alright, well, here is a brochure of different therapist that works on pets. The bill was paid for already by his owner, so you are free to go."
Namjoon had sat up on the bed and was moving his ankle and arm, just to see if it still hurt. It didn't. He was so deep into his thoughts, that he didn't realize Seokjin has been calling him.
"Koya!"
Jumping in fear, Namjoon looks at Seokjin before staring down at the floor.
"We're leaving, now let's go."
Namjoon nods before hopping off the table and onto all fours. He still can't walk right. Seokjin cringed internally. The second thing I'm going to teach him, is to walk.
The two sat in the car, Seokjin in the driver seat and Namjoon in the back. By the second stop light, Seokjin felt the guilt attack him. "I fucked up, didn't I?"
Namjoon stayed laying down on the floor. Was he supposed to answer?
"I don't expect you to know what I did was fucked up. I mean, you hardly know anything and it's all our faults. I had to teach Hobi how to do a lot of things. Hell, he loves to cook, but I had to teach him how to turn the stove on, use a knife, boil water. Talking and being himself was a hassle too." Seokjin took a deep breath. "His cookbook he is starting.....it would have to be anonymous. Nobody knows who the fuck Hoseok is, but I do. I'll be the only one who would know a human made a cookbook that hybrids are using. Because they know Mang, Hoseok is just going to be a mysterious hybrid with cooking skills."
Namjoon stares at the teary eyed Hybrid. He can see Seokjin through the rear view mirror.
"I yelled at you. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to. If I show I care about a pet, I'd be questioned and most likely deemed unfit to have a human.....Namjoon, keep a secret. I can't have Hoseok taken from me, he's my mate. My soul. My one and only. If he is taken from me, I'll die." Seokjin parked the car. "I will literally die. Joonie, I'm sorry I yelled at you in the office. I don't like yelling at humans."
Namjoon moved closer. "No. Like. Yell?"
Seokjin shakes his head. "No, no I don't."
Namjoon nods. "Why yell Hobi?"
Seokjin turns to stare at Namjoon. He completely forgot about his out burst with Hoseok. "Shit. Hoba." How could he forget about what he'd done? No one is more important than Hoseok, not even Namjoon.
"Come on, let's go inside." Seokjin said as he hopped out of the car. Namjoon let Seokjin carry him inside, he still doesn't know how to walk on his two legs. Once the duo got inside, the first thing they noticed was the smell. Cleaning chemicals. "Shit. I really did fuck up."
Seokjin sat Namjoon on the couch in the entertainment room and walked around the house. The way Hoseok cleans is to start on the top floor towards the back and make his way forward and down. Seeing how much the place smelt clean, Seokjin knew he'd have to be somewhere downstairs.
"Hoba?"
Silence. Maybe he is still upstairs?
Walking up the stairs, he started to hear scrubbing. The bathroom. The door was wide open and inside on his hands and knees, was Hoseok, scrubbing away on the tiles. Seokjin can hear his mumbling, but only barely.
"Making me seem like the bad guy........I wasn't.......Maybe if he actually......Asshole...."
Seokjin sighed. When Hoseok gets angry he starts cleaning and talking to himself. Well, more like saying things he wished he had or figure out where he went wrong. So, not wanting to wait any longer, he spoke. "Hoba."
Hoseok stopped scrubbing but kept his back to his owner. "Hoba, I'm sorry. I never should've yelled at you."
Hoseok uses his arm to wipe away the sweat and tears on his face. "Well, you did. For something I had no control over." With that said, he started back on his scrubbing.
Seokjin knew it wasn't going to be easy. He hardly ever yelled at Hoseok and when he did there was a quick apology before a discussion on how to fix things. This time though, he just left.
"I know I did."
"And you just fucking left!" Hoseok yells as he stood up and slammed his brush into the bucket full of soap and chemicals. "You yelled at me! Blamed me! For what happened to him!" He quickly took off his gloves and threw them onto the ground with each step he took. "Instead of talking through the next step, you say, 'just stay here' then you left! I know you wanted to say something else, what was it!? 'I guess I was,' what!?" Seokjin felt his back hit the wall in the hallway. Hoseok had backed him up to a corner.
"Hoba, I stopped myself because I knew what I was going to say, I wouldn't mean. So I didn't."
"And that would've been? I know that when someone is angry they tell semi truths, things that frustrated them will be said. So you were what?" Hoseok wasn't yelling anymore but he still held his cold glare.
"I was wrong." Seokjin stares down at Hoseok. Standing his ground. "That was what I was going to say. That I was wrong to trust you. See? It was something that was said in anger. I always trust you with everything. Hell, I let you come and go without thinking you'd run away. I have more trust in you than my friends."
Hoseok had long since went back to cleaning the bathroom floor, forgetting to put his gloves back on. "Hoba, say something. I didn't mean anything by it. I stopped myself. I don't blame you for anything."
Seokjin felt a tear fall down his cheek. "Stop." He quickly grabbed the now chemical abused hands of his mate. Now that he is paying attention, Seokjin can see the red string flickering. His mate is physically hurting. "You're hurting yourself. Stop this." Placing his mate's hands to his lips but not quite touching, he gave small air kisses to the burnt hands.
Hoseok felt bad. In his blind rage, he forgot to put the gloves back on. "I'm sorry." Was all he said. Seokjin shook his head. "No, I'm sorry."
The two just sat on the now cleaned and polished floor.
Namjoon stayed sitting down on the couch. He didn't know how to feel. Upset that he caused the two most happy Ownership couple to argue or confused with his healing abilities. He never used to heal that quickly before. It didn't matter now, since Yoongi had sent a text to Seokjin that will change everything.

Longish chapter. I wonder what the text was about......
