Aayrah's innocent gaze was awestruck seeing the sun set in front of her eyes. She was standing at the perfect place, which had an outstanding view from the top of this hill.

This morning Izaan had asked her to go on a date with him and she didn't waste any second to accept his offer.

Maybe it was a good decision since it had almost been a month since their wedding and they definitely needed a change and an upgrade in their lives.

Izaan had his arm wrapped around her petite frame as he was currently busy on an important phone call regarding business but she was fully enjoying the view.

"I'll talk to you later Mr. Verma. I have something important to do." She heard him say that made her bite her bottom lip, cheeks turning red at the shyness of his words.

"So, what do you say Aayrah? Should we head for our dinner?" He asked her lovingly, dipping his face from the side of her neck from behind.

"Yes." She responded cheekily.

"And listen, we'll go only to my favourite restaurant. Nowhere else." She reprimanded in between making a chuckle escape his mouth.

"Of course we will. How can I even dare not to fulfill my wife's demand?" He asked in a husky voice, making goosebumps appear on her soft skin.

"Modest much, Mr. Oberoi?" She teased.

"Since forever Mrs. Oberoi." He smirked back, leading them towards his car so they could go to their destination.

His arm was wrapped around her lean shoulder, pulling her self closer to his body as he wanted to feel her softness as much as possible.

Her natural red hue on her cheeks, that rosey and soothing sight was something he could never get enough of.

Only he knows how he places loving kisses there whenever she falls asleep like a small baby, her plump lips pouty as ever.

The sound of his phone ringing was heard again and he groaned at the disturbance. He had already attended almost 3 calls in between their date and this was the 4th one.

He was barely controlling the urge to smash the phone on the ground.

"Hello?" He said, picking up the phone.

Aayrah had her light brown orbs set over him as he spoke to the person on the other side. She didn't fail to notice how his posture turned stiff each passing second, jaw clenched and a look of seriousness on his face.

"Yes, I'll handle it tomorrow Dad. We will get the deal, don't worry. I just need to look over the contract once." Izaan nodded his head a little as he spoke to the person on the other end that concluded to be Rajveer Oberoi.

By now Aayrah had gotten interest in her surroundings, looking at everything like a child, her eyes twinkling.

He tried to make her stop from going anywhere by holding from her waist to which she gave him a scolding look.

She looked adorable.

"Izaan, everyone is looking at us only." She tried to reason but he paid no heed.

"So? We aren't on a friendly outing Aayrah like we used to before. We are on a date." He reasoned and she lowly gasped, realizing the situation.

And just like the whole month, this was again a time Aayrah forgot about their relationship. It was very obvious that because they'd spent so much time together since her childhood, she was used to him, although from a different perspective.

No doubt it was hard for her to accept him as her husband because of this.

She was used to the Izaan who would care for her like a good friend, act as the mature one between the two or someone who her family trusted for her to go out for a movie since her childhood.

She wasn't used to the one who would kiss her, cuddle her, say such heart fluttering things as everytime her shyness would appear out of nowhere, her not meeting his eyes or cheeks turning red that would make him stop doing those things with her.

"Shall we go now?" He asked, breaking her trance.

"Huh? Hmm." She slowly nodded.

He quickly circled the car, making Aayrah sit on the passenger seat and he himself sat on the driver's, roaring the car to it's life.

It was only a few minutes later that they reached the restaurant, her favourite one. Though like a gentleman, Izaan led her to the table he'd booked for them, she couldn't help but to notice the change of atmosphere between them.

She didn't even know that this would cause trouble one day!

//////////

It was almost 11 in the night when Aayrah was standing in the parking lot, waiting for Izaan who was taking care of the bill. She'd herself told him that she would walk slowly there while he could catch up with her later.

She was standing in a way that her back was resting against the bonnet of his Range Rover, looking distantly at the view when she heard footsteps reaching her territory.

She was sure that it was Izaan. She could feel it. But she didn't react much when he took the same position as hers, standing just beside her with their shoulders touching.

5 minutes had passed but no words were exchanged. It was then she felt him dip his head in her neck from behind, his arms circling her waist as he pulled her closer, breathing in her soothing vanilla scent.

Doing this he felt home. He felt peace.

He swiftly turned her in a way that she was now facing him, her hands resting on his chest, feeling it's hardness.

His eyes were darkened as he looked at her. She could feel a new emotion flickering in those.

"You're one insatiable woman, Aayrah." Mumbling this, he crashed his lips onto hers.

She was frozen at the spot, feeling the warmth of his thin lips on her pouty ones. They had a kind of roughness in them but they genuinely felt so good. Fireworks were exploding inside her small frame as he gently suckled on her plump, bottom lip.

Slowly and slowly she started responding to his kisses that were not so innocent by now. His tongue was creating wonders inside her body as he explored her mouth, his hand reaching to fist her hair for a better access. A small moan came out of her mouth, as he pulled her self to himself, making her feel his hardness. He felt so big.

Placing butterfly kisses on her slender neck, he was murmuring something continuously which she wasn't able to grasp due to the intensity of the pleasure.

And then he made her look directly in his eyes.

"How will our relationship work, Aayrah?" He questioned raising his eyebrows.

So, is this his reaction after their first kiss?

She was so disappointed as she glanced at him with her swollen lips.

"I- I am trying Izaan. It's hard for me because I have looked at you from a different perspective since years. Like, I want to tell you things and express myself but I feel hesitant. We've never talked about such things-" She was rambling, though a little skeptically at his behaviour when he butted in.

"Aayrah, I have always wanted you. Why is there even a place for hesitation? It's not like there's someone else between us. You used to talk to me so freely although it used to be for completely different things. But now, I expect you to talk like my other half. We are living in the 21st century and all these things that includes you not sleeping till I haven't returned home or you taking care of me as if I am a child. We are husband and wife and we should behave like one. These gestures don't make me happy. It only increases my anger." He said sternly as he got a hold of her shoulder.

"B-But Mom, Ma, everyone does-"

"Let everyone else be Aayrah. We are on the same level. It was a different thing in earlier times. And let me tell you, the only thing that has changed between the two of us since childhood is us living in the same room. I thought we both had feelings for each other, but I guess I was wrong. It has always been one-sided and that one-sided was only from me." Saying this, he stormed to the driver's seat of his Range Rover and Aayrah could only look at him with her mouth agape.

What was she even supposed to say at this?

Maybe this was the very first time she wasn't able to deal with his temper.

And was his anger genuinely about their relationship?

Maybe her hesitation really is the biggest problem...

Pehle toh kabhi yun mujhko na aisa kuch hua
Deewani lehron ko jaise saahil mila...

O... Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga
Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga

O mere sohneya ve

Naal tere tur chaleya main
Le chal mujhko duniya se tu door

Chori chori jad tenu takkeya main
Khud ko sambhal na sakeya main
Chadh gaya sajna tera yeh fitoor...

"Shut that damn thing right now!" Reyhan yelled, making Reva jump on her seat.

With a big pout, she completely lowered the volume of the stereo of his car, but a smile again formed on her face as she looked outside the car's window. The weather was too good to be missed.

Today's business party had gone very well. So many people congratulated the two of them and they seemed genuinely happy which surprised her although made her feel good.

"Do you have any idea what to wear or what to not?" He gritted out.

"What do you mean?" She asked with a frown.

Their month of togetherness had gone well. Though they didn't exactly have become close, but atleast they had developed an understanding and a routine to live and accepted by each.

Divorce had slowly, slowly completely moved out of their lives.

"Do you know what people were saying about you? Do you even have a goddamn idea about what goes around you!?" He shouted, making Reva look at him bewildered.

"What the hell are you trying to say?" Reva glared at him this time.

And again, he was back on taking out his anger on her which never sits well with her. His anger is no doubt scary for someone to witness and Reva had always believed that when it's not her fault in the matter, no one should ever shout at her unnecessarily.

"You see, the dress you're wearing is displaying everything. Everything that was of my wife that those perverts were looking at. And basically giving their nasty opinions about my wife. I don't care if you wear anything but it should be only for me! Why do they get the chance to look at what's mine, huh?" He let out in a low and dangerous growl, making a wavered breath come out of her mouth.

"Sexy, such amazing legs, look at her boobs. Oh, and her luscious hair." Reyhan said huskily.

Reva gave him a disgusted look and he glared at her in return.

"This is only 10% of what they were saying. Most men in this society, business and industry have no respect towards women. They play with them like toys. If you even get to hear the other things they were saying, you'll be crying right at the spot." He yelled, making her flinch.

She knows how men in the media are. She has experienced moments the whole year being his secretary and now she was his wife too. What he was saying did make sense.

"I- I didn't know th-at-"

"Shut up. Shut the fuck up. I bloody punched more than 5 men there and you had no idea. Where were you lost? Did you even be at my side once? People wanted to meet my wife, but hey, she is nowhere to be found. Lost in her own bloody world." He roared smacking the steering wheel in between.

She was only hoping that nothing would happen while he was driving with such a high level of anger.

"I won't-"

"Do not say a word to me Reva. You have disappointed me so much today-"

"Stop the car right now." She said sternly, cutting him off.

"Huh?" He glared at her.

"I said stop the car right now. I don't want to be near you at all. You have no idea how to talk calmly and I cannot deal with this unnecessary anger." Reva gritted out showing him her palm that meant finality.

"Unnecessary anger? Oh well, here. Do whatever you want." He scoffed, putting his luxurious car on halt on one side of the road.

Without paying him another glance, Reva took her clutch from the backseat and exited the car in a flash. The door was closed with a bang making him glare at her threateningly.

He was one second away from calling her out, his protectiveness as a husband kicking in but she was the one who didn't pay him a second glance and walked to the opposite direction, her heels clicking on every step she was taking.

Letting out a sigh, he ignited the engine of his car and continued his journey....alone.

//////////

His heart didn't feel at peace as he was driving his car on the deserted road, late in the night.

His speed was the slowest he drived with, mentally praying that he would see Reva walking in the pavements.

Maybe he did wrong to leave her alone? Despite his anger, she was his wife and it was his responsibility to protect her. And the fact that he had become more than possessive over her that he had ever felt towards anyone.

What was his fault that he didn't want anyone to see his wife with their filthy gazes? He wanted to wrap his arm around her, to show everyone that she was his. His wife. His everything.

And before more thoughts could cross his mind, he reversed his car and drove back to the spot he had left Reva.

She wasn't seen anywhere when he reached there. Thinking she might've walked further, he too drove to the same direction he remembered her walking to.

His hawk like gaze was searching for his wife in every direction thinking she could be seen somewhere or the other.

And finally his eyes landed on his wife who was wearing a black gown that highlighted her small waist and slender leg that was visible due to the high slit.

And then his eyes narrowed as he noticed a man with her. She was struggling with that man.

He could clearly make that out.

And the one thing he didn't want to happen, itself happened. He didn't want her to face any problem, specially of this kind when they already are facing so much in their lives.

In a flash, he was out of the car, banging the door close and took predatory steps towards the man who was forcefully hovering over his wife, who was trying her best to free herself from his harsh grip.

That guy clearly looked drunk as he slurred while speaking, his imperfect way of handling her tightly, more like a bruising grip and him stumbling every now and then made it obvious.

Reyhan's fist was clenched, same as his jaw that made veins pop out on his neck. His long strides enabled him to finally reach his wife and a hard punch directly landed on the drunk man, square in his jaw that made him fall with a thud.

"Reyhan..." Reva whispered teary eyed, hugging him tightly, taking as much homely feeling as she could. No doubt he made her feel protected.

He kissed the top of her head as her head reached his chest, while his other one went to pat her back calmly.

"Wait a minute baby. I need to deal with this bastard first." He gritted out in anger and Reva who was confused as ever took two steps back from him.

And the very next moment, he pounced at the drunken man, punching and slapping him repeatedly till blood didn't come out of his mouth, all the while muttering only one thing, 'How dare you touch my wife? I'll bloody kill you.'

It was Reva's scared form who hugged him from behind in a tight grip being highly scared of his anger, murmuring him to stop.

And he stopped.

Lifting her in his arms like a baby, who buried her face in his neck, sobbing uncontrollably, he led them towards his car, sitting on the driver's seat with her sitting on his lap.

Her legs were on either side of his waist as tears were streaming down on her beautiful face, sobbing uncontrollably in his chest. He could feel his shirt getting wet due to her tears and it pained his heart to see her cry, he wouldn't lie.

"I am sorry-" She let out between her sobs, fisting his shirt in her hands.

"It's not your fault baby. Stop crying. I shouldn't have left you alone." He soothed her down, rubbing her exposed back.

"I feel-"

She couldn't complete her words when she felt has if her throat was choked.

"Relax baby. Stop panicking. Breathe, hmm?" He cajoled.

For the first time he was seeing Reva so vulnerable. The one who always stood rooted in ber steps, bold as ever no matter what the situation is. But today, she looked almost broken in his arms.

"How about we go home?" He tried reasoning in a soft voice and she shook her head frantically, tightening her hold on him.

"Okay okay, just relax. Look at me, baby." He murmured softly and her teary gaze hesitantly met his grey orbs. He was looking at her so lovingly, so softly that a whimper escaped her mouth, fisting his shirt even more tightly in her hands as if she didn't want to leave him.

"Did he do anything? Was he able to-"

"No. You came before he could." She sniffled in between, shaking her head like a small child.

"You're strong right? Why are you crying? Like always, these people can cause nothing you, my love. It's both of our fault so stop this blame game. You're safe right and it's all that matters." He said softly cupping her cheeks in his rough hands.

His protectiveness for her was kicking in more and more each passing second and all he wanted to do was cage her in his arms, saving her from the outer world. But he knew it was only because of the trauma that she was sitting in his lap. Sooner or later, she would get away from him.

"Don't leave me Reyhan this time. Please. I really want you. I want you forever with me, doesn't matter if you would get angry at me." She mumbled hoarsely burying her face in his neck who looked at her shocked.

But soon he recovered himself, now assuring her with sweet words, lulling her into an oblivion.

Her brown orbs clashed with his grey orbs who was looking at her intently.

And both of them didn't realize when their faces neared to each other's, his rough lips meeting her plump ones in a heart fluttering kiss.

He was kissing her like a starved man and she kissed him back with the same fervor. Her hands reached up to hold his raven hair as he tilted her head to give him more access.

He was sucking on her bottom lip mercilessly and she enjoyed every second of it, letting out a moan in between that made her groan.

His hard erection was poking her below and she adjusted herself in his lap, trying to take over the dominance.

But it was him who she was competing with. His tongue plunged inside her mouth, exploring it, all the shyness vanishing away between the two. Their tongue was dancing in a perfect rhythm as she settled herself in a way that his member was at a proper angle on her entrance.

And this was all it took for him to loose the control as he pinched her nipple, his hand finding its way from her deep V neckline to which she let out the loudest moan till now.

He was making her feel all hot and bothered and she undoubtedly wanted more.

And their lips disconnected with each other's only for him to say, "Let's go home." to which she eagerly nodded.
