Welcome Back
After the lecture from Reborn that included dynamites, swords, grenades, some serious beatings and illusions, the guardians finally accepted the harsh reality.
They realised that Tsuna would be unhappy if he saw them in this state.
And so, with all courage they could muster, all seven of the Decimo's guardians gathered around him, heads low and shoulders slumped.
No one said a thing. They only stare at the delicate frame of their boss, watching the rise and fall of his chest, signifying his life, his life that was hanging on a loose thread.
They watched how Tsuna took each breath, as if it was painful, as he lie there, still, on the bed.
"Jyuudaime... I-we came again today..." Gokudera croaked.
"We're still waiting ya' know..." Yamamoto added beside Gokudera sadly.
"But it seems... it's time for us to accept it..." Chrome softly whispered, audible only to those present.
"The dream has finally come to an end," Mukuro continued.
"Time to pull the plug..." Ryohei said with a pained expression.
"And give up." Hibari said solemnly.
Everyone had their heads down, as if not wanting to see it, to see the moment when they will forever lose their Sky.
Reaching for the main switch, Ryohei was only inches away from flicking it off when a loud gasp was heard.
Looking back, he saw Chrome holding tight of Tsuna's hand, staring at himmwith hope.
And slowly, those eyelids fluttered open, showing a pair of soft, honey-brown eyes.
"Hello, everyone," Tsuna greeted with a smile.
Almost all of the occupants wanted to laugh at Tsuna's nonchalance. With a smile spreading wide on their faces, they greeted him back.
"Welcome back, Sky."
