Chapter Three

Chara's POV

I remembered what Frisk had asked when we'd first met. Are you going to kill me, take my soul, go to the surface, kill some humans and free the monsters? I'd said no but now I was beginning to wonder. If me and Asriel did the monsters would be free! But at what price? I glanced at the ground. Frisk had been sleeping there and seemed to sleep more easily than me and Asriel still. Frisk had only been around for a short amount of time but she still had won the hearts if everyone in the family. Including me. Would I really be able to kill her? It was one of those hard questions. Would you rather kill somebody you care for, to save a large group of mostly strangers or would you rather kill a large group of mostly strangers for someone you care for? Why was it so hard? I closed my eyes but my mind kept fluttering to me standing over Frisks dead body taking her soul which kept me awake. When it was final my mind wasn't going to let me rest I sneaked out if the bedroom. I snuck into the kitchen. I was quite happy to see there was a lot of chocolate left. Enough that no one wouldn't notice one missing. I  took a chocolate bar and resisted a mmm at the amazing flavor. I heard footsteps behind me and I spun around. Standing there was someone you'd never seen before. A skeleton wearing a blue hoodie and black shorts. I  glanced at him confused but before I could say anything I'd been pinned to the wall.

Frisks POV

You swear you jumped 10 feet high as you woke to the sound of screams. Asriel was already up and running towards the kitchen. You followed him. When you entered Chara was pinned to the wall with a blue outline surrounding her. You knew that magic.
"SANS!" Sans directed his focus on you at the sound of your voice.
"Kid?"
"PUT CHARA DOWN!" Your yelling had awoke Toriel and Asgore who were standing shocked at Sans. Probably because nobody had had the guts to just enter the queen and kings home. Sans looked at you shocked put lowered Chara onto the ground keeping a magical glowing eye on her as he did so.
"Frisk!" Chara ran towards you hugging you like a lost child. Sans looked ready to pin Chara again as she hugged you put you stopped him with a warming glare.
"What is that thing!" She whispered in your ear. Somehow Sans had heard that and looked livid.
"It's a skeleton and he probably just needs a snicker bar." You whispered back. Chara snickered at this and Sans was somehow even madder then he was before. Toriel and Asgore seemed to get over there shock for they both had there claws  (I think they're called claws?) up and looked ready to defend their children. Sans ignored them and looked at you.
"Well kid, we need to get back to our timeline."
