Chapter 24

Hey My Little Creepers! So before you start reading the chapter, I just wanted to let you all know that this is the second last chapter! Yeah, next week will be the final chapter upload! And I know I'm gonna say this then as well, but I want you all to know I have really enjoyed writing this story.

Ticci Toby is one of my favourite characters (second to LJ) and I am so happy I was able to bring him to life in my own way! I'm glad the people reading this have enjoyed the story, it just fills me with joy when I see all the happy comments asking for more. I know it's not perfect, but I really am proud of how this story has turned out, and again I'm glad everyone has been enjoying this story as much as I have writing it :)

Anyway that's all for now haha I don't want to keep you from reading too long... So enjoy the new chapter!

It didn't take long to get back to (Y/N)'s house. The mansion's location was still a mystery to the girl, but it was only a short 5 minute walk through the foggy forest and to the end of her street. She stared at the building she had once called home, surprised by how close they seemed to have been, and also terrified of what was about to take place.

Her hear was pounding loudly in her chest, and she had to take a deep breath as they stopped along the outskirts of the forest. Once she steadied herself, she turned back to her home filled more with determination than fear. (Y/N) couldn't fail this, there was no need for a failure, and she was going to prove that she could do anything.

Toby glanced at her, taking her hand slowly in his and asking if she was ready. The girl nodded, thankful that he was here with her, supporting her, helping her. His warm hand steadied the girl more, and she closed her eyes. Who should she kill first...?

Her mother had treated her like trash, and just like her father, the girl was determined to get her revenge. And her brother... He was only in the first few stages of following that path, but she knew if he lived with their devil spawn of a mother any longer, he would only get worse. He needed to be freed from her chains.

She knew who she was going to target, but karma was about to bite them both in the ass.

(Y/N) glanced back at the slender figure behind her, he was silent, waiting, watching. A slight nod from him, and she was on her way back home. Her mother should be home by now from whatever it is she has been doing since her father's death, the girl planned her path and made her way into the kitchen.

After choosing her weapon, the girl then made her way to the other side of the house, checking on Ethan's room to make sure the door was closed. That weird smell came from his room again and she frowned, never in her life would she have guessed him to use drugs. But knowing he was high will make this much easier.

She then passed her room, the door ajar slightly, no lights on. They really hadn't checked on her this whole time. They hadn't cared enough to see if she was okay, still alive. Pushing the door open slightly, it squeaked to reveal the room as she had left it, and she felt enraged by her family's negligence.

The girl glanced up to the window, seeing Toby and Slenderman observing from the window. She thrusted her thumb in the direction of her mother's room, before making her way down the rest of the hall. The door to the master bedroom was closed, so she opened it slowly. Her mother was asleep in her bed, the covers draped over her, rising and falling with a steady breath.

The sun shone through the curtains as they swayed in the breeze, and the girl's mother stirred, rolling away from the sunlight. (Y/N) takes this as her cue to walk over and gently shake her mother. The older woman stirred, letting out a groan as she woke up. She looked around the room at first, before making eye contact with her daughter.

(Y/N)'s mother's face instantly fell and she slumped against the bed, "(Y/N)... What do you want?"

The girl stared down at her, feeling nothing as she stared at her mother. She couldn't bring herself to respond, she had to act now. The girl lifted a knife above her head, and the older woman's eyes widened in horror. The girl attacked, lunging at the other woman, swinging the blade down on her. The knife sunk into her shoulder, and the older woman screamed. (Y/N) pinned her down, before pulling the knife back and stabbing her again, this time in the chest. And then again, and again, and again, until the woman below her stopped struggling.

As soon as her hand fell limp at her side, and her eyes stared widely, unseeingly at the ceiling, the girl stopped, panting. Her heart was beating in her ears, her head spun. She felt... Free. Never had she felt such a feeling before. Being rid of such a horrible woman, seeing her struggling, powerless when she usually held the power, seeing the light fade from her eyes after all she had done... It had felt so... Good.

It was exhilarating, and (Y/N) wanted to do it again. Never before had she felt such freedom, the power to do whatever she wanted. A smile spread out on her lips and she lowered her head. This task was going to be a piece of cake.

But she shot up when the door behind her creaked open. Ethan, her brother, had just burst into the room. He clearly had heard the screaming, and came to see what was wrong. (Y/N) turned to face him, getting off her mother and pulling the blade from her neck. It was a grotesque sight, seeing all the stab wounds in her body, the blank stare. Ethan looked horrified.

"(Y-Y/N)... What the fuck have you done?!" He yelled, a sort of hatred held in his gaze.

The girl tilted her head, smiling at him, "Ethan, you had been so kind to me. What changed?"

"You're... You're crazy!" The older brother shouted, before he took off down the hallway.

(Y/N) gave chase, not allowing him to escape. If he got away, she would fail, if he got away, he would call the police and she would have to run. That was not an option.

The boy ran into his room, slamming the door behind him. (Y/N) rammed into it, splitting the wooden board from its hinges. A slight pain went through her shoulder, making her arm ache, but she ignored it. She then kicked at the door, sending it into the room. Her brother was on his phone, typing something quickly into it. The girl chuckled and walked over, grabbing him by the back of the shirt and tugging him back. He stumbled and hit the wall, giving her the chance to hold the bloodied knife up to his throat.

"W-W-Wait... (Y/N)..." Ethan struggled slightly, trying to hold his head back, "H-Hold on... Please..."

The girl stopped for a moment, her eyes were blank as she stared at him, her heart pounding, but now it was in excitement instead of fear.

"I... I'm sorry..." The boy said, and he lowered his head slightly, as best as he could with a knife in the way, "I should have treated you better... I let it all get to me. I shouldn't have been so rude to you."

A smile spread out on his sister's face, "That's cute..."

And she pulled the knife across his throat. His eyes widened and he gapped out, grabbing at his neck as the blood covered his skin. He fell to his knees. She watched as he trying gasping for air, only to choke and cough up blood. He fell forward, reaching for his phone. (Y/N) rolled her (e/c) eyes and kicked the phone away.

"You were there for me for all those years... But then you caved... You started down the wrong path." She knelt next to him, tilting his head so he could see her, "I couldn't let you become like him, I couldn't let you become a monster. But I can see now that you always were a monster."

He choked out one last time, and the girl stabbed the knife into his back. He let out a gurgled cry, before his body relaxed. (Y/N) sat back, panting, staring as the blood seeped out from under her former brother's body. She then reached forward, grabbing the knife and wiping the handle on her shirt, before then cleaning the blood off it. She was totally keeping this.

Sirens then started wailing in the distance and the girl startles. One of the neighbours must have called the cops because of her mother's screaming. (Y/N) gets to her feet and opens Ethan's window. Once she was outside she pulled it closed, taking off over the fence and into the forest. Slenderman and Toby appear in front of her, and the girl looks up with a smile.

"Congratulations." Slenderman said, "You managed to do the task."

Toby was ticking next to him, but he stepped forward and pulled his mask down to show off his wonderful smile. He stepped forward and pulled (Y/N) in for a tight hug.

"I-I-I... I knew yo-oooou could do it." He said, and she hugged back tightly.

"Thank you Toby..." The girl said, "I couldn't have done it without you."

The two stepped back, before their cheeks turned pink and they both looked away. What was that right now? (Y/N) wasn't sure, she held her arm almost self-consciously now. The sirens grew louder, and everyone froze.

"It seems we better return home now." Slenderman said, placing a clawed hand on both (Y/N) and Toby's shoulders, "We wouldn't want our newest Proxy getting caught."

And with that, they were in Slenderman's office once again. A slight feeling of dizziness took over the girl and she held her head. That was the first time she had ever teleported, and Toby gave her a pat on the back,

"Y-Y-You get used t-to it." He said with a chuckle.

The girl smiled, giving him a nod, "And the killing, does it always feel like that?"

"D-Deffffinitely." He gave a thumbs up.

The tall creature in front of them then cleared his throat, catching both of their attention. The two gave each other another smile, before taking their seats in front of the desk. Slenderman had taken his seat as well, and was now holding his hands together on the desk. There was a buzz in the room, like a sort of electricity had taken over. (Y/N) couldn't help but feel ecstatic.

"Alright, let's get this over with." Slenderman said, tilting his head in the girl's direction, "Are you ready to become my Proxy?"

"Yes sir." The girl nodded with determination.

"Good, then let's get this underway."
