Kpop unpopular opinion

I, Aroo, went around the wonders of Kpop to collect some unpopular opinions from k-pop stans who felt like they needed to be heard.

Let's run down their opinions, and do feel free to comment on any of these. Making sure you don't hate on them because in the end, it's their opinion!

I prefer stray kids more than nct? - Nancy.

Your idols aren't perfect and fully educated about things. - Vi

You don't necessarily need to have a bias, You don't have to feel attracted to every k-pop idols. - Appi

Group members don't need to be best friends and that's alright. - Sara

You don't have to love every song from the group you stan and you don't have to obsessively stalk every idol and not keeping up with your fav's content doesn't make you less of a fan. - Appi

Seventeen produces the best japanese songs. - Ash

"Old kpop stans" should shut up about their "old kpop songs are better" just accept that skz, g-idle, etc.. are getting big this year. - Stranger

If you don't like the people commenting "stan loona" just don't interact with it, easy as that. That's even the reason why I got into loona. (clarification : if you're commenting stan loona on a sensitive or serious tweet please delete it) - Stranger

Every song can be a skip, it just depends on your mood. - Monsha

Idols in general shouldn't be shit on no matter what company they're from (unless it's justified that they're terrible people or something) - Stranger

A kpop band has a small fanbase doesn't mean that they are any less talented than the famous ones. - Raey

If you are fangirling over an idol it doesn't mean you are in love with them. Sometimes, it's just a crush, nothing less or more. - Fatima

Fanfic of kpop idols should not always be romantic. You can write other than romance. - Fatima

Members of a group coming closer to each other. Supporting, loving, caring for each other. Staring at one another or hugging each other doesn't mean they are in love.

International fans ain't alien species. You can learn Korean, go to Korea and meet your idol like an ordinary fan.

Visuals and physical beauty isn't everything that we call talent.

It's not important which company from your idol belong to. They have their own personality and they are their own person. Stop complaining about their company on their face.

Idols can fall in love. Have a love life. You know nothing so shush.

Welcome to the k-pop kingdom where the judgement of talent is just confined to the views, ratings etc. Bitter reality but we face it.

It's okay if you don't stan underrated artists. You should stan artists for their music. Just because you stan an underrated artist, it doesn't mean you aren't superior. - Bree

All idols have two sides to them: cute and hot so personally, it ain't nothing special to me. - Ryie

There are no rules to be a fan. You just need to enjoy their music, love and support them like a true fan. You don't need to know every single detail about your idols. -Bree

Stop believing every single thing that is shown on media and please stop saying "believe the victim". stay neutral, stay gold. -Bree

Having a bias doesn't mean you should only praise them. - Ash
