Welcome to K time magazine by Kpop House's interview. I am chenhui and I'll be interviewing you for your book. May I know your name and pronouns?

Rainy, she/her.

How did you start writing in wattpad and what motivated you to write books?

As a kid I wrote little stories and made up silly song lyrics. I didn't really think much of it until I was around 13 years old and found Wattpad through some One Direction fanpage on Facebook. I started reading fanfiction and making an account on Wattpad and afterwards tried writing One Direction fanfiction myself. I found it fun and my irl friends read it and always commented and told me at school how much they had liked it. This was all in my native language Dutch and after a while I tried writing in English and made a new account (so people couldn't find me any longer), started writing gay fanfiction and so ThaFantasticFoursome was born.

Wow, this is really fascinating to me. Have you ever felt to quit writing? If so how did you cope up with it?

To be honest, no, I've never felt like quitting writing. There have been times that I was too busy or that I was having a writer's block and just stopped writing for a while, but quitting forever? No, I couldn't imagine that ever happening. It's become a part of me and I adore writing too much.

You have a really different answer on that one. What motivates you to write further and not stop?

Like I said before, it's become a part of me. I'm constantly thinking about stories, talking to myself in my head making up conversations, daydreaming about different universes... If I wouldn't have that, I think I'd be quite sad/lonely. I am also now striving to work in the book publishing industry after graduating from college next year and I'm also part of the editorial team in a magazine right now, so my future will hopefully be full of writing. Besides, my biggest dream since I was a child was to have a book officially published so people can buy it in book shops. I'm not willing to give that dream up.

What other hobbies you have aside writing?

I'm part of my local youth movement which takes up quite some time (like doing activities to make money for the youth movement, organize weekend activities for the kids in town, going on camp). I like cooking and baking as well because who doesn't like food??

Those are some good hobbies. As a writer, what do you find hard about the readers? Or you are okay with the readers you have right now?

Having readers is amazing and motivates me to write. At the same time having a lot of readers can also feel overwhelming. There are so many people waiting for you to do something and there was a time I couldn't handle the pressure anymore and made a side account (@autumnawe). I started publishing books on that account and abandoned my main account for a while just to escape the pressure. I got over it eventually and now post on both accounts. I think my readers are amazing. No one really pressures me to update (especially when I explain why I'm offline) and if there are mean ones who are quick to place rude comments, a block button is never far away.

Good to hear they haven't pushed their limits as a reader. Out of all types of books, what was your reason to choose taekook?

When I found BTS Taehyung was quick to become my bias. Through the YouTube comments I found out that Taekook was a thing and began looking for compilations. Through those compilations I came to know that Jungkook was 'scared of girls' when he was younger and my first book idea was born! I never really questioned why I picked taekook specifically. I think they can fit every scenario and that's nice. Jungkook can be a baby or a Mafia boss. Same with Taehyung. They're so varied.

Oh that's nice to hear. Is there something you'd like to tell for the readers of this interview or your book readers to end the interview?

Sure! Hi everyone! First of all, thank you for reading (my books or this interview). I'm really grateful to be a writer read by so many and I'm still confused why I deserve all this. For the writers among you: If you want to write, just write, and don't give up when it doesn't work out at first. Readers can tell when someone writes with passion and when you're passioned & just love writing for what it is, the readers will come, whether you planned for it or not. For the readers among you guys: Thank you for leaving nice comments and voting & motivating authors to bring the best out of themselves. I know it can be frustrating when authors stop updating/disappear/take hiatuses but I thank you for not pressuring them. Just like you like to read, we like to write, and it's a wonderful relationship when we all respect each other. What's a writer without a reader? What's a reader without a writer? We all need each other in the end <3

Thank you for joining me and sparing your time for this interview. It was really nice knowing you and hope to see more success in what you do.

No problem! Thank you for interviewing me <3
