Welcome to K-pop House's The K Times Magazine. I'm dani, how may I call you?
hey, dani :] you can call me manx!

Nice to meet you, Manx. Hope you are doing well. What inspired you to write stories?

Honestly I don't think I was inspired by anything, per se, or if I was, I don't remember lol
It just felt right; like when you're a kid and you do something, and then you keep doing it, because it's something that never tires you out and you feel like you could do it forever.
That's how I feel about writing. In the long run, I know it won't tire me out.

That's a lot of love I see of yours towards writing. If you have noticed or not, many many readers have got inspired into writing and learnt many things through your book. Had you ever expected that? How did you feel about it?

I could never in a million years expect something like that 😭 but seeing it happen was,, crazy. it took me a while to wrap my head around the concept <3
But I'm glad I inspired people! Inspiration is hard to come by so if you find it you should keep it close, even if it's some random wattpad writer you took it from.

That's a really sweet feedback. I myself started writing after getting inspired by you. Which among your books you felt you connected to the characters? As in that book was for you and you felt really happy writing it?

First of all, that's really sweet ☹️
Honestly, all of them? There's at least one character I relate to in all of the books I write, because I tend to base them on a universal, fleeting feeling and build them up from there. But if I had to pick one, I think I'd go with the mc from rush. She doesn't start out brave and strong and good, like most protagonists, and is a runner rather than a protector. She grows into herself and I got to write the entire process, the long, 200k word arc of her character, and it's the changeability about her I love so much.
She's adaptable and that's where I find myself.

That's nice! Rush is definitely a good book. I always loved it. How did you take challenges of an author? Did you ever feel like quitting your writing? How did you cope up with it?

Actually, I've never thought of quitting. I've thought of quitting a fandom, sure, but never writing as a whole.

—☆—

Oh that must've been a hard time. What hobby do you have aside writing?

It feels like an inseparable part of me? like if I stopped writing entirely I would simply not be me anymore
well, reading, of course. Lmao that sounds so rehearsed. I love watching stuff too! And recently I got into genshin impact so I've been obsessively playing it for the past couple of weeks lol.
Yeah I love wasting time ❤️ it's my favorite thing to do.

Must be interesting. Is there anything you'd like to tell your readers or the readers of this segment?

Well, if you're a writer, I'd tell you not to limit yourself. Fanfiction is limiting, and wattpad is limiting. Find your style outside of the regular pages and look for something beyond fanfiction. When you build yourself properly as a write, writing fanfiction will be more of a getaway from the regular routine and you won't settle for anything mediocre. If you're a reader, I'd tell you not to limit yourself either. Most of fiction, even fanfiction, is...not great. Read something other than it for a while. Pick up a good book. When you can confidently say that you have good taste and a good eye, come back to fanfic. That way you won't settle for mediocrity, and will be exposed to a lot of great stuff beyond this realm, and you are your own worst critic. always remember that.

That's a different ending note but inspiring as well. It was nice knowing you. Thank you for giving me your time for this.

np! thank you for having me.
