Jae-hyun returned to the pack even before anything. The night as predicted was actually long and the moon was red till it hit 3 in the morning.

The teenager that had mixed feelings about the Alphas was quite riled up uncertainty and frustration.

Meanwhile Jimin didn't sleep along with Jungkook.

It was nearly 8 in the morning when the Jimin slowly stood up from the previous night's position of sitting.

He had his eyes glowing as he felt a bit dizzy but ignored it as the Betas didn't find anything. He was a bit shocked but also a bit uncertain about the prophecy.

Soon as he yawned with lack of sleep in his body, the door was knocked harshly by someone. He took a sniff and could tell it was Taehyung for sure.

"What?"

He growled in a lower tone but was audible enough for Taehyung to hear, soon a response from the Beta made him sigh.

"Witch Bane is here for Ning."

Well Jimin had enough problems. But he did called this witch to check how and why Ning is in this realm. He has became quite paranoid about the human's existence after Jungkook told him something the previous morning.

"I think I found Hyunnie"

Jimin's body jerked forward as he flinched with the sudden statement of his mate.

Jungkook however had a worrisome face with him as Jimin's face was an indication of hope. The younger Alpha sighed as he looked straight towards his mate's eyes.

"This Ning human is the key. If he's manifested with evil will power then-"

Jungkook couldn't even finished his sentences and his mate was already shaking his head, mumbling, 'it can't be'

"Anything, You shouldn't attach yourself with him.... He's from the Humian"

Jungkook whispered his words, pulling Jimin in his embrace as he tried to calm the Alpha Mate of his.

"He might eventually hurt you"

Even though he convinced Jimin the previous day, Jimin still called the witch to check and confirm.

"Take Ning to the private Study. I'll be there shortly"

With the command reaching the Beta's ears, he nodded to himself and went his way.

Nobody has ever seen Jimin being attached to anybody this soon. Maybe it's just sympathy. Well nobody knew.

Jae-hyun wasn't asleep like the Alpha Mates. He kept thinking of every possibility of the Gumiho being a fraud. But the Fox did know about his crescent and status.

He groaned as he sat upright, throwing the thin blanket away from his torso. Before he could do anything else, a knock was heard. Even if he knew who it was, he still mumbled a low, 'come in'.

Taehyung entered the room and spoke up straight but with a smile.

"Head Alpha Jimin wants you to be at the study"

Jae-hyun arched a brow and asked with a bit of reprovement written in his face.

But even with that grimace, Taehyung will drag him by any means possible and the teenager kinda knew it too.

"I'll lead you till there"

Jae-hyun huffed nodding as he put his slippers on and followed the Beta.

A little later, Jimin was seen there with a woman holding her grayish black furred cat.

He was irked with the existence of cats like any of the other werewolves present in any realm.

He hissed a little and it was inaudible still. His eyes soon zeroed on the Alpha who had a straight face on though.

He was trying to keep his eyes still but it was quite hard when the Alpha was supposedly a murderer in his eyes.

"So You are the Human"

The witched grimaced even mentioning 'human'

Jae-hyun scoffed glaring at her and she flinched when she sensed a unique Chi from him. But shrugged it as because he was a human.

"It's been years. Since your human grandma died, There's no human being in here"

The witch directed her speech to Jimin and he nodded. His Grandma was a human who was brought here for some unknown purpose by the Guisins.

"what's your age, Human?"

She asked and Jae-hyun didn't lie with that.

"I turned 16 a few days ago"

Shook.

Not only did the witch had widened eyes but the Alpha too looked surprised to an extend.

"The Witchcraft won't work if he's below 20, Head Alpha"

She reprimanded as she looked at Jimin, shaking her head.

"He's too fragile. Even Werewolves can't take this much amount of magic in them. He's just a human... That too minor"

She explained further and Jae-hyun kept staring about what she's been talking.

"How come this worked on me but not him?"

That irked the witch.

"You are fucking Pure Blood"

She scoffed and he glared at her. The scene witnessed by Jae-hyun was quite different though.

He was thinking about what kind of magic he was about to experience. He was quite obnoxious about the pack already and letting them do magic on him was a no-no

His thoughts were invaded with the mere statement from the previous night.

"They killed your parents"

Not only did he concentration shook but his head started aching. His fists clenched. He was feeling anxious yet frustrated.

Strange when Jimin was talking to the witch and his wrist started aching. Jimin's eyes widened and before he could order the teenager to be out of the room, Jae-hyun made his exit himself with pain rising in his whole body.

When the door slammed close, Jimin immediately pulled his sleeve up, staring at the crescent that was turning into something he never witnessed before.

The crescent on his wrist was black and it was a new moon for sure.

"Look here"

Jimin asked pushing his hand towards the witch and she gasped. She was the disciple of previous Witch, that happened to be Jungkook's friend.

She immediately pulled his wrist to take a closer view

"Something bad's gonna happen"

"How so?"

"It's a new moon. It's the sign of constant misery in life"

She pointed out. "Even your mate will have signs visible"

That nearly took Jimin's life.

"What can we do now?"

He asked without wasting any time.

"Find it's source. Find who's gonna cause this misery. If you can't solve this in time, I don't think you can survive without any further destruction"

Jimin's mind went blank as Xihuo silently called Jungkook for some stability.

This wasn't the first time in years that Jimin felt this blank. One thing he was thinking was Jae-hyun, the one he never saw 14 years now. If anything happens, Jae-hyun will be the first one to die. Then the whole realm.

Chein sat on the branch of a tree in the garden of the Southern pack, wavering his hand fan slowly and steadily looking for Jae-hyun. He's been watching the latter since the last night.

He even detected the change in the crescent of the teen.

He laughed when he saw Jae-hyun glaring at a Delta who restricted him from entering the garden.

When the Delta was gone, he was about to leave when a scream was heard and when he turned his head, he could see an Omega pointing at him with shaky hands, screaming at her top notes.

"DAMN"

He immediately took off from the pack's boundary. That's his cue to leave and never visit without proper planning.

Soon a whole group of Alphas and Betas arrived at the place and Jungkook too arrived with Jimin. Jae-hyun however was already there.

"What happened!!??"

Her mate asked and all she could do was shake in terror of the Gumiho, she just witnessed something that shouldn't be there.

"I-I saw him..."

She was shaking as her legs gave up.

"Who?"

Jimin asked her calmly with a worried face. And she let out a breathy sigh, trying to calm down.

"G-Gumiho..."

"Wein?"

Jimin asked trying to be a little positive but instead of Wein, She mumbled, "Chein"

That worried Jimin the most. This Gumiho is never a good sign. Every time he appears, something bad happens.
