Everyone had a worried look on their faces except Mina Auntie, who wore a small smile, her eyes teary. Hazel was breathing heavily.
“Auntie, why did you ask us to come along with you? Why did you behave so harshly toward her all of a sudden?” Jin asked.
“Because that was the only way we could wake up the real her,” she stated.
Hazel slowly stood up, pressing her trembling hands against the table. Seeing her like this made Jungkook worried. Hazel stared at them intensely with her shiny golden eyes. Jungkook approached her and held her close. When she looked at him, her eyes softened, and she collapsed in his arms.
...
Time passed. (Bedroom)
Everyone was waiting for Hazel to open her eyes.
Mina Auntie entered the room, and the boys looked at her.
“Did you get the answer you wanted by testing her blood?” Hoseok asked.
Mina Auntie smiled and nodded.
“Can you tell us clearly?” Namjoon asked.
“The girl Jungkook married is not Hazel. To all of you, she is UNCLE TAEHYUNG'S DAUGHTER.”
Everyone gasped at this revelation. They looked at her lying figure, unsure of what to say. Hazel slowly opened her eyes to see them. Jungkook was right next to her, giving her a warm smile, which she responded to with her own smile.
“Sorry for being rude to you,” Mina Auntie said.
“May I know what happened to me?” Hazel asked.
Mina Auntie nodded. “You are not a normal human.”
Hazel didn’t understand.
“If you want to know about yourself, you must learn about another story. Come with me,” Mina Auntie said as she left the room, followed by the others.
...
With one action, a room became visible magically. They entered to find many photos hanging on the walls. This was new to Hazel, and she gazed at the portraits of unknown people, all wearing royal attire. Suddenly, something caught her eye.
“Oh, I know him!” Hazel exclaimed.
Everyone turned to look at the photo she was pointing at.
“He is a famous sculptor and poet from the real world,” Mina said.
Hazel looked at her. “Oh, he is Uncle Taehyung, right? Jungkook already told me.”
“But Jungkook may not have told you that YOU ARE HIS DAUGHTER, right?”
Upon hearing that, Hazel’s face dropped.
“My father?”
Her words stuttered as she spoke. Mina Auntie nodded, smiling bitterly. Hazel looked at the boys; their silence was enough to confirm the truth. Her eyes teared up as she looked back at the portrait and then at another portrait next to Taehyung's photo.
She touched that painting.
“It was painted by PRINCESS HEA,” Mina Auntie stated.
“Hea!? Princess? But she is that grandpa's daughter, right?” Hazel asked.
Mina Auntie looked confused and turned to Jungkook for clarification.
“She is talking about the grandpa from the village. He told her that Princess Hea is his daughter,” Jungkook explained.
Mina Auntie understood and nodded, then turned back to Hazel.
“She was not just a princess; she meant the world to all the families living in that village. She had the purest heart among the royals,” Mina Auntie said gently, placing her hands on Hazel's shoulders.
“You are not Hazel. You are Y/N, which is what your parents named you,” Mina Auntie revealed.
Hazel struggled to process this sudden information.
“I can’t understand anything. What is happening? What about my father and mother who raised me? How can I believe that all of this is true? How can he be my FATHER?” Hazel asked, pointing at Taehyung's portrait.
“You will understand everything once I tell you the real truth, my child. Please listen to me calmly.”
Hazel looked down, trying to collect herself.
...
Once, there was a princess named Hea, who belonged to THE KINGDOM OF VAMPIRE.
She was the third-born daughter of the vampire king and the royal blood queen. She had a big brother, Prince Beomgyu, who was born as a half-vampire, half-human (a member of TXT), as well as an elder sister, Princess Jiha, who was born as a full vampire. Finally, she had a younger sister whom she called “Shinny,” and who was born as a full human.
Princess Hea was born as a full human with royal blood, which was a step above her mother, who was half-vampire with royal blood. A full human with royal blood could destroy all vampire clans with their power, so she held a special place in everyone’s hearts. She was the most beloved princess of that kingdom—a multi-talented girl with a special talent for drawing.
As for the sculptor and poet Taehyung, he came to this world from the real one because his mother belonged to this world. He was a well-known poet and sculptor in the real world, and in this world, he gained fame for his talent and mesmerizing beauty.
Let’s delve deeper into the fantasy story, which is the beginning of everything.
To be continued.
