Taehyung's POV

"Ah, sorry to bother you." I began and stuttered.

This man was so captivating as he now didn't wear his brown jacket, so the red blouse was just loose on him, showing off his broader chest and slimmer waist ratio.

Even his shirt exposed a bit too much of his gorgeous skin from having the first couple of buttons unused which distracted me more.

"It's alright, I wasn't doing much." The captain spoke up, his voice sounding like a gorgeous melody.

"Can I come in?" I asked, feeling weirdly nervous to ask him.

I just wasn't interested in standing in a hallway while speaking to him.

Especially if a flirt does come to mind and slip out of my mouth.

A cheeky smile appeared on the captain's lips as he spoke, "Only if you know the password." He hummed, placing his hands either side of the wooden door frame.

My eyebrows furrowed a bit. Is he playing with me?

"What's the password then?" I asked him, unsure of what to do right now.

"Mmm if you don't know the password then you can't enter." He explained, his gorgeous brown eyes locked on mine.

Only I didn't avert my gaze, I took the opportunity to look back into his stunning orbs that swirled like chocolate and honey.

"Why do you need a password, you can kick anyone out when you want anyways if you've got a sword handy." I responded.

He chuckled.

"I don't use a password because you are entirely right about that, you're allowed in, just don't touch anything please." He snickered, while stepping aside to let me in.

My heart was pounding now that he let me in his room.

I am in my crushes bedroom- wait should I even call his room a bedroom? It was a massive room. Like it did have a bed, however it had a desk, a table with a map on it and other items spread around the room.

It was almost more like an office with a bedroom, what would you even call that? A multi-functional room? An open planned room?

I was snapped out of my daydream, hearing the captain close the door behind me after entering.

"That's very childish by the way. Reminds me of primary school." I commented, not sure if this would come across as an insult to the other male or not but I did not want to seem like he just walked all over me when he honestly did.

The male laughed to my delight as I walked over to the desk with a map on it, curious about it in case it shows where we are heading.

"I'm surprised you had that joke at primary school." The captain commented as he leaned his bum against the desk with the map on it.

"Just because I went to a private school, doesn't mean we didn't have those stupid jokes. Plus my brother did it to me a lot at home." I commented, looking over at the male once before looking at the map again.

"Of course, snobs must have been brutal at school." The captain commented.

"Is that where we are?" I asked while pointing at a golden weight that was put randomly onto the old fashioned map.

"Yep." The male beside me answered honestly, grabbing an empty glass that sat on the edge of the table, taking it over to his desk where he somewhere put it out of view.

"We're heading towards the Korean straight aren't we, getting closer to the East Sea?" I asked him while examining the non-labeled world map.

The Korean straight and East Sea leads up between Korea and Japan, otherwise there is just open fresh water.

"You know your geography well. You'd be correct." The captain answered as he walked back towards me.

"You're not taking us back to Korea just yet are you?" I questioned him, feeling a bit uncertain now about the captain and his motives.

We seriously have been kidnapped by my crush at this point.

"Taehyung, what do you want?" The male asked me now, placing his hands on his hips as he ignored my question.

I looked at him now, frustrated that he avoided my question.

"What?" I asked while feeling confused.

"I said, what do you want? You came to my room to speak to me and are cutting into my personal time. I'd like to know the reason so you can get back to working promptly." He said, his voice sounding colder than I expected.

I found this male captivating from day one, but only now am I noticing how dangerous this male could truly be.

He has a cold side that I am only just meeting.

Rather a bitter side of him.

I suppose you need that side as a captain of pirates otherwise all hell would break loose.

I gulped feeling a bit nervous now, but I just let the words slip out of my mouth without even thinking.

"I- ur- came to thank you for the shoes." I stuttered.

However his posture seemed to change, softening a bit to my appreciation.

"You're welcome." He said with a small smile, his lips curving up as his dangerous side drifted away again.

"They were yours right?" I asked while looking down at the brown boots I had on my feet.

"They were. I purchased them from a market in China a couple weeks ago. I hoped they'd fit okay because I presumed our foot size would be similar," The male began.

"I just couldn't let you continue to work on my ship in bare feet. Sometimes my crew drinks quite heavily and I did not want you to cut your feet on some broken glass or other items left around my boat." He explained.

So he didn't hear me complain earlier? Or did he? Because it seems he has come up with an excuse? Though it is a nice excuse.

"Thank you." I said gratefully, my worries about this male declining again.

"Ah it's alright." He said turning away from me to glance at a clock on his wall.

"How old are you?"

The captain looked shocked as he gazed over at me, hearing my question that seemed possibly like the least of my worries according to him.

"Twenty three." He answered with some hesitancy.

My eyes shined with possibilities after he answered.

He's one year younger than me, possibly two because I turn twenty five soon, however he's at a decent age where I could totally date him if he was interested.

I completely forgot about the fact he may be kidnapping us and just longed to create some kind of a bond with him, like Jimin suggested.

"How does a twenty three year old become a captain of a pirate ship?" I asked, sort of wondering aloud out of curiosity, unsure if he'd answer me.

A soft smile appeared on his lips.

"How does a twenty four year old become king?" He shot back at me.

Okay so he knows my age.

"I was born into it." I replied.

"My position is more brought on by tragedy actually," The male said while taking a seat at his desk.

Gesturing for me to take a seat on the opposite side.

Will his tragedy be an emotional story where him opening up to me can create some kind of bond between us?

Could I have cracked the first step at becoming something with the pirate captain?

Could his tragedy include him possibly being homosexual and sentenced to punishment so he had to escape?

Could I find out if he could be interested in dating me?

Does it even matter if I am kidnapped, it means I get to live a different life, one I'm not born into which is something I desire.

Only I could argue that I am still trapped in this life with the captain because I am stuck on a ship without answers on our destination.

But maybe over time that would change.

I have so many questions, but I may need to get the captain's trust before I can progress with the answers that I desire.

Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? Should Taehyung trust the captain? What do yal think about the captain? Is he shady? Will he answer Taehyung's other questions beside destination? Should Taehyung commit to exploring things with his crush on a pirate?
