Taehyung's POV
It's time I make my plan to get Jungkook and his crew out.
I woke up early and thankfully my secretary informed me that I have a library session before I get fitted for my coronation clothes.
In the library I decided my plan, jotting it down in my diary.
Step 1.
Learn coronation speech.
You may be wondering why I should do this, well it's because instead of waiting for the person at the altar to speak through the lines I have to say and I copy it, it means I can say it within maybe five minutes by myself which will mean the coronation will end sooner.
So I can then go rescue Jungkook and his crew sooner.
Step 2.
Give Jungkook a hidden weapon so he can begin our fight when my coronation starts and before he gets hung.
Step 3.
I arrive at Jungkook's extermination and start fighting until Jungkook and I can leave safely.
Step 4.
Get Jungkook's crew out of the prison while the guards are distracted by Jungkook being on the loose as they'd definitely pull some guards away from the palace to attack Jungkook if he was attacking staff.
Step 5.
Everyone makes it to the doc and we disappear.
I feel happy with this plan, yet Jimin lingers in my mind.
But hopefully over time, they will stop looking for me and I can come home and see Jimin without being roped into control by others.
I just hope my plan proceeds as planned.
Step one of learning the coronation speech is under way as I am currently reading the speech and trying to memorise it.
An hour later I was disrupted for my coronation attire fitting.
It is exciting in all honesty because it means I get to wear some crazy attractive clothing.
I hope Jungkook likes my outfit when he sees me on Wednesday, or should I say tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my twenty-fifth birthday and I will be crowned King of South Korea.
Isn't frightening at all...
How dare they hang my beloved on my birthday though. It is awful. I do not want a birthday gift where I know the one person I have fallen for is dead.
My 25th birthday will go from being the most wonderful ravishing royal day to the worst, gloomy, and depressing surprise.
As I walked into the room Jimin works in, I could hear his soft voice singing while he was working on a mannequin.
"Arirang, Arirang..." Jimin sang while threading a needle through a white and silver embellished blouse, him singing a new song called Arirang which is becoming popular.
"Arariyo." We sang together as I joined him while walking over to him.
Jimin jumped hearing my voice, placing his hand on his heart as he went to swear before seeing my secretary behind me which stopped him.
"Don't sneak up on me like that when I have my back to you." Jimin whined and I just laughed.
"Looks amazing Jimin-ah." I cooed while looking over the outfit he's made for me.
He's made an all white suit, with real silver and gold embellishments which is absolutely beautiful.
And he's got me some lovely white dress shoes.
I have come to really like pirate boots but I know that it wouldn't go down well with my father if he saw me wearing pirate shoes on my coronation day.
I tried the outfit on, my blonde hair becoming a mess after having to pull Jimin's not completely threaded outfit over my head.
His measurements fit me well though which is good, it just means Jimin has to complete his sewing before tomorrow.
Now I just need to work out how to get a weapon for Jungkook.
When my appointment with Jimin was over, my secretary walked me back down the hallway.
My eyes glanced in the direction of the dungeon and of course there were now guards at the top of the stairs, their hands holding rather large guns.
I know if I went down again, they wouldn't be so kind because my father has changed the staff to make sure I won't visit them, or get them out which is an issue.
However I do have an alternative plan.
"What time is lunch?" I asked my secretary.
"1:00pm today. You'll be having braised duck breast with gravy and fresh vegetables from a local garden." He told me.
"Sounds delicious, may we go check on the kitchen's progress?" I asked him.
"Of course your highness." My secretary hummed, leading me to the kitchen.
I like visiting the castle's kitchen, mostly because they often get locals from town to prepare their own food because they are expert's after all with their cuisine and produce.
Of course there is still other staff in the kitchen too, staff that always works which is nice because I am met with familiar faces whenever I visit.
As we walked in, the aroma of the cooked food wafted my nostrils.
My stomach growled as hunger startled my stomach.
I smiled as one of the staff made eye contact with me.
"Would you like to taste the gravy, sire?" Someone asked me from beside me.
"Of course." I hummed, beaming as they passed me a spoon of a rich brown sauce.
It tasted beefy, rich, and dissolved in my mouth.
It was a beautiful gravy for the duck, the littlest amount would balance the duck perfectly.
"Mmm." I hummed enjoying the flavour which put a smile on the workers face.
I walked around a bit, noticing unrecognisable faces.
My secretary stayed by the entrance way.
I stopped in front of a young child sitting on the kitchen bench, their mother supposedly working beside them.
"Hello there." I hummed softly to the child who smiled, waving his small hand at me.
"Momma, the almost King spoke to me! Did you hear!" The child gushed, tapping the older woman beside him.
She hadn't noticed my presence until her son had spoken up.
Her eyes frantically landed on her son on the bench and she picked him up, putting him on the floor to get his bottom off the bench.
"Sorry, your highness." She muttered, keeping her head low as she spoke to me because it was unhygienic that her son was sitting on the bench she was working on.
However I have spent over a week on a pirate ship which I'd say is way more dirty than this.
"Oh, that wasn't the reason I spoke to your child. I just found your child to be cute. I have had to put up with worse hygiene recently so please don't feel bad, I understand children need looking after and it keeps him out of trouble around ovens and such if he's not running around the kitchen." I explained and she gratefully smiled at me.
"It is nice to know your back safely, your highness." She said calmly, patting her son's head as he stood beside her.
My eyes squinted for a second.
Of course this woman doesn't always work in the castle so she wouldn't be aware that I should not be spoken to about the shipwreck and pirate ship.
However my secretary must have heard her because he walked over to interrupt us so I couldn't speak to the women more in case it did make me click to know Jungkook's real, even though I already know he is.
"Sire, lunch will be served soon, maybe you should head to the dining area so your family can eat once it's ready." He insisted, his hand placed on my lower back to direct my body to walk away from the woman and her child.
"Yeah, okay." I hummed while looking over my shoulder at the women and child.
My secretary however also looked, in case the woman was trying to still communicate with me, of course she wasn't though.
This gave me time however to grab a sharp knife from the kitchen counter top, sticking it just under the cardigan I was wearing so that no one saw that I had it.
I then was escorted out of the kitchen and to the dining hall.
I now have my weapon for step two of my plan, I just now have to work out a way to successfully give Jungkook the weapon, and let him and his crew know the plan.
Will I be successful to save thy saviour?
Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? Thought I should update it. My university work is going okay but after two assignments being due last week, I am now struggling a bit to focus on my university work this week. Hence why I am enjoying writing/proof reading over doing university work rn but I hope this chapter is okay. It's not very fancy writing, I am happy with the cooking part tho. I also am happy with just telling you Taehyung's plan so now you can be prepared for what will happen/or may not happen in the next couple of chapters.
If you like my writing, feel free to comment as you read my book or vote. Also add this book to your reading list/s so you get the updates and can help me promote my book.
