Taehyung's POV
My eyes slowly fluttered open as I saw Jimin's back as he opened the curtain to my bedroom.
The light from my window casted across my cheek, creeping up to my eyes to make them stay awake.
Hold on- I am looking at Jimin! Jimin left me behind with my family and staff so he shouldn't be in my sight right now!
I shot up right in bed... I was in my bedroom? I was on a boat. Wasn't I?
"Good morning Taehyung." Jimin chimed in a happy tone as he walked past me who had my mouth open in confusion as he went over to my walk-in closet to find an outfit for me.
I watched as Hoseok came in with a tray which had scrambled eggs and a cup of tea on it.
He placed it on my lap, "Good morning your highness." He warmly greeted me before stepping back.
"How many sugars did you put in it?" I asked him while rubbing my eyes in confusion.
"Your normal request, one teaspoon sire." Hoseok replied.
I nodded as my eyes glanced out the window, trying to look at the wharf.
No pirate ship like Jungkook's seemed to be there.
Could I have slept with Jungkook and while I was asleep, he has returned me home?
But if so, why is no one telling me what happened?
Shouldn't that be the first thing addressed rather than a happy good morning greeting, a lovely breakfast, and clothing?
Could I have made up a dream about my ideal male?
"Kim Taehyung, your daily schedule includes spending time in the library from 11am, you have lunch served at 12:15pm, at 1pm your meeting with the board of trustees has been cancelled so instead you will take part in a fencing class, at 6pm you have a meeting with the castle chief financial officer, and at 8pm your dinner will be served." Junha, my secretary said to me.
I gave a small nod while my eyes squinted.
"Eat up so you can make it to your library session on time." Junha called while leaving the room.
I nodded, my hands gripping the silver fork that was on the tray to start eating.
After a moment or two of eating, I looked at Hoseok who stood beside my bed watching me.
"That's all I need, thanks Hoseok." I said calmly.
His eyes lit up, with a nod.
He then left, however I did watch as Jimin who stood by my wardrobe made eye contact with Hoseok before Hoseok left.
And then Jimin made eye contact with me.
This gave Jimin the cue to start talking.
"I was thinking you could wear this to the library, just a basic blouse and some black pants, you can wear this also to lunch, then I was thinking you change to these more stretchy pant material before your fencing training, and then back to the pants you wore in the morning but with a nice golden and green jacket for dinner." Jimin began, showing me the clothing options.
"Jimin, what's going on?" I asked him, ignoring his clothing recommendations.
"What do you mean?" Jimin asked, his smile fading.
"I mean why are we here? Why am I here?" I asked him.
"You live here? You were born here?" Jimin questioned me back.
"Ugh no, why aren't I on a boat?" I asked.
"Our boat trip got cancelled? You don't remember being informed about it?" Jimin asked me.
"What?" I questioned.
Is he lying to my face?
But why does he seem so calm?
Did I really dream about everything?
"You know, the pirate ship?" I asked further.
"What pirate ship?" Jimin asked back.
My mouth fell open in shock.
"Are you alright? Do I need to call a doctor?" Jimin asked, walking over to me, placing his dainty small hand on my forehead.
My nose scrunched up as I pulled his hand off my head, "No. I am fine," I began.
"What about the gorgeous guy that I liked?" I asked Jimin, keeping my voice down.
"Taehyung, you have always admired young males, you need to be more specific." Jimin replied with a questioning look.
"Bloody hell Jimin, the damn pirate. The Captain. The gorgeous male with brown hair and brown eyes." I replied feeling anger bubbling inside of me.
"Tae, I haven't met a pirate, nor a male of that description. Did you dream of one?" Jimin asked me.
My eyes looked away from Jimin as I stared at my dresser opposite my bed in confusion.
"Tae? Are you sure you are alright?" Jimin asked me after a minute or two of silence.
I nodded very slowly.
I then began eating as Jimin stayed beside me.
However as he turned to walk to get my clothes, I looked down at my palms.
Yet not a single cut or blemish was visible on my hand.
Even before I slept, my wound wasn't very noticeable, but could it be possible they put ointments on my hand or even make up which would disguise the fact there was a cut there.
Yet Jimin seems to not be able to recall the pirates so maybe it all was a dream.
If so, it was a very nice dream that I wish lasted for longer.
I ran my hand over my neck from where I know Jungkook left hickeys, again I didn't feel any make up.
Sadly I had no mirrors in my bedroom currently as we were purchasing me a new one before I was supposed to go overseas.
I got dressed and Jimin followed me, whining about how there were some loose threads at the bottom of the blouse which he tried to fix while I walked to the library.
"Jimin, it will be fine, please stop worrying about it." I chirped.
Jimin eventually gave up, leaving me to study in the library.
My hands skimmed book after book until my hands found what they were after.
I grabbed multiple books on pirates and began peacefully reading.
However after maybe twenty minutes or so, the librarian grabbed my books, muttering they are rubbish to read and brought me back a book on learning Japanese, saying it'll be more beneficial to me in the future, rather than 'make believe' pirates.
I began studying again. Japanese wasn't as interesting as the pirate sea books that I had before, but I continued because after all, Jungkook knew some Japanese which inspired me to learn some.
The rest of my day went by quickly, even my parents said nothing abnormal to me when they saw me.
It's seriously like everything that I thought I went through, didn't actually happen.
However by the time I got to fencing, I had really lost my temper at some lie that must be continuing around the house.
My fencing has improved dramatically which makes me believe that I really did get on a pirate ship.
Jungkook has to be real.
My gut is telling me that.
I didn't used to have such control over a blade, or such quick fast movements to avoid being tapped.
They were skills Jungkook performed and I know for sure that I wouldn't be able to master that from just a dream.
After my turn at fencing, I was watching some other males practice but left after noticing Jimin standing in the hallway watching, possibly checking up on me.
His eyes landed on me as I approached him.
"Jimin-ah." I whined.
"Please, I need to know the truth." I complained after seeing Jimin's eyes soften.
Jimin looked up at me, then at the people behind me.
"Meet me in Jin's bathroom in 10 minutes, we cannot speak here." Jimin said very quietly, my ears only just catching Jimin's words.
My heart raced.
Is he going to tell me the truth? Is everyone here being watched?
I finally am put out of my misery, this is all an illusion and the truth is yet to come...
Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? I sort of wanted to write Taehyung living without Jungkook for a bit longer but I think this chapter is long enough. He's gone 3/4s of a day without Jungkook and possibly longer because how long do yal think he was sleeping for??? But what do yal think Jimin is going to tell Taehyung? Will it be another lie? Will he reveal not backing up Jungkook? Will he bring up Jin's lies or the way Taehyung's family spoke of his sexual orientation? What do you think?
