Taehyung's POV

A couple hours ago we were led down through the inside of the boat and down another flight of stairs where we were to complete some work for the sexy pirate captain.

The captain's words still rang in my head from earlier.

~ Flash Back ~

"You will do everything I say, and work for me and my crew." The captain finished saying while leaning on the mast pole that was in the middle of the ship, attached to the mainsail.

"Is this just while you are taking us home?" Namjoon calmly spoke up.

"No, this is until I decide to take you home." The captain replied seriously.

"What! No. No, I said. You will take us back at once!" Jin demanded.

"Shall I show you where you will begin working?" The captain asked, ignoring my brother.

"No, because we aren't doing it. Your crew earlier asked for money right, we could pay you." Jin continued.

The captain rolled his eyes.

"I'll take some money and your work then." The captain said through gritted teeth.

"Jin shut up." I muttered, knowing he was pissing off the captain and I don't really want to be sliced up by pirates today.

"Yeah, shut up Jin." The captain mocked, copying my words.

"It's Seok-Jin to you!" Jin snapped, waving his pointed finger back and forth at the captain.

However my heart just raced hearing the captain's words and knowing he listened to me made me feel butterflies that explored my entire body.

"Why do we have to work for you? Surely there is a price we can pay to not work for you." Jin went on.

"Look matey," The captain started making my heart explode at his pirate dialect.

"Money is a possibility, but my men need a holiday. We travel night and day, and my men are over exhausted. I will take your offer of money for the food you require while you are onboard, but I ask you to work for the bedding we provide and for our finest health care for you snobs. And by doing this, my men can rest. It is fair, after all we saved you's so now you need to repay us all and not just with money but through a good deed." The captain explained.

"Now, if you don't mind following me." The captain called, giving us a fake smile because he was definitely annoyed with my brother.

Then we all followed behind the captain and down into a room which seemed to be on the third level of the boat.

The room had wooden boards where we'd have to row to make the boat move with the assistance from the wind and sails.

It possibly makes a pirate ship quicker which is definitely needed when pirates go through battles.

"Great job, you made a pirate enemy." I snickered to my brother as we wandered down the stairs into the room for rowing.

"He's a wanker." Jin stammered.

"So what, do you want to get killed? We don't know how friendly these folk are so we need to be more careful and your demands are obviously not working so you should stop." I directed.

Jin didn't respond to me now as we all walked in and sat down at a bench in front of an ore.

"Get rowing, I'll tell you when I think you have done enough work for today." The captain said, as he walked over to a cannon in the room, peering through the hole in the boat and out at the ocean.

~ Flash Back Over ~

My arms were in agony from rowing, but yet I continued in silence.

I didn't dare look around, only at the massive wooden ore that I pushed, just to avoid the gorgeous man who occasionally walked around the room.

"Yoo-hoo... Prince... Taehyung..."

I looked to the side hearing my name.

I raised my eyebrow when I saw the captain looking at me, one of his black shiny boots resting up on the wooden board that I sat on.

"You've done enough work for this evening, you can join your friends." He said, his gorgeous glossy doe eyes examining me as I looked back at him.

I nodded.

"Thanks." I said letting go of the board, standing up.

"Oi, show Taehyung to his room." The captain said with a whistle to get one of his crew mates attention that was sitting on the stairs.

I started heading over to his crew mate but stopped just after I walked past Jin.

Jin was the last one left in the room and I know leaving him here with the captain is probably a horrible decision.

I spun around, now looking at the captain.

"Actually, would you say it's ethically right to look after elders?" I asked him.

He cocked his eyebrow, putting down his foot that was on the bench where I sat to now face me, our heights meeting exactly.

"I suppose." He answered, unsure with where I was getting with my words.

"Then I'd like to take over for my brother." I said calmly.

Jin stopped rowing as he heard my words.

I could see the composure of the captain changing, some wrinkles appearing on his forehead as he considered my offer.

"You know he has about forty more rows to go right?" He questioned me.

"I didn't know but my offer still stands if you will allow it." I replied, feeling a bit giddy around the captain.

"Fine, I'm sick of seeing him anyways. Take Seok-Jin to his room please." The captain announced, waving his hand at his crew member.

Jin stood up looking at me silently as he walked past me.

I could feel sweat dripping down my white long sleeve shirt already as I just sat down in Jin's place.

Once Jin left I continued to row the boat.

"Why are you so nice to your people? They are so naggy." The captain spoke up after a couple of minutes.

I didn't answer, because we both knew the answer.

I have dedication to my own people, much like he has dedication to his crew.

"How did you become shipwrecked?" I now heard him ask as I saw out of the corner of my eye that he'd sat down beside me on the bench and was looking at me.

I didn't look at him but answered.

"Our captain drove us into a rock, puncturing a hole in our boat." I replied.

"Is your captain onboard?" He asked with a smug laugh, this time I saw him sticking his golden pipe back into his mouth while he lit it.

"No, he abandoned us." I stammered.

"Makes sense, your brother is a handful." The male beside me chuckled.

This time I stopped rowing and looked at the male beside me.

"He is but you have to remember that it's taught behaviour." I explained.

"You're not as bad as him though. He embraces his rich life, you are for some reason humble. So I don't believe it's taught behaviour, he is just a snob." The male explained, putting down his pipe.

"I didn't say to stop rowing," He then whined once he noticed I'd stopped.

"You will always do as I say, *savvy?" The captain muttered.

(Savvy? - a question that means, "Do you understand?")

"What? God part of me finally understands you and then you throw in some words that I have never heard of in my life. That's if they are even words." I grumbled.

The male laughed beside me.

Only I couldn't help but stare at the male, enchanted by his light laughter.

"*Shiver me timbers, keep rowing *scallywag." The male commented from beside me.

(Shiver me timbers! - an expression used to show shock or disbelief. Scallywag - an inexperienced pirate, considered an insult)

However the smile that was on his lips made me satisfied enough that I did keep rowing.

I may not understand him sometimes, but the male beside me feels rather real.

He excites me because he is so unique, and not just from his looks as a pirate, but from his actions.

Being here may be unusual for us all but I am very interested in learning more about the pirate beside me.

Thy Saviour can be imaginably different to all that you know. But I have no issues with trying out a different life with our saviours, even if it's on a ship where I become nothing. But for once, I couldn't be happier than to be just nothing...
