Taehyung's POV
I dangled my feet in the deep blue water that seemed to continue downwards forever.
The chattering stopped a couple hours ago as we relaxed lifelessly on the prison gate doors.
(By the way, by prison gate doors I mean these, just so you can imagine it better because I am not sure if my describing can actually establish the imagery of this alone. It's the thing on the ground, just multiple of them. And they are floating on that.)
I am not sure how long we have been floating for, I just know that currently no one is looking for us because our arrival in England is not for a couple days.
Only I know we won't be able to survive till then.
We need to be saved by someone or we need land to be within reach.
We have enough food till possibly tomorrow, but not enough clothing that multiple of us would likely freeze at night.
And if the seas got rougher at night, we certainly wouldn't survive.
However luck must be on our side because a lone ship came sailing by.
Our eyes followed the boat, our guts hoping we'd be noticed as we waved our arms wildly in the air.
And sure enough, the boat changed course to sail in our direction.
Within a couple minutes, a large stained brown and black boat pulled up beside us.
Two large fair-toned ropes were being thrown down to us so we could climb up the massive hull.
This boat must have been extremely expensive but it has been well kept despite some small dents.
Someone rich must live aboard.
"You can go first." I hummed to Namjoon, while Hoseok decided to start climbing up the other.
"I haven't climbed up a rope in years, I better not get rope burn." My brother started complaining as he followed behind Hoseok up the rope.
I climbed up the rope behind Namjoon after Yoongi insisted that I get to safety first.
My slender fingers wrapped around the rope while my bare feet planted carefully against the boat hull to help myself climb up.
I smirked to myself, seeing Jin struggling to climb up the wall.
Once I'd made it up, I swung my legs over, getting my first glance at our saviours.
And to my surprise the majority of them seemed to be wearing rags, not rich men's clothing.
A lot of them wore white blouses with either grey or tanned pants, and I already know Jimin will be scrunching his nose up to their fashion.
Even the few women on-board wore white blouses with knee length skirts, ranging from different shades of purple and green.
Once Jimin made it to the top of the hull, I helped him over which made him bow his head in appreciation.
I know Jimin isn't the athletic type so I wanted to help my best friend as much as I could, especially because he handed the suitcases up to Jin who passed them to Hoseok.
We were now all on the deck while our saviours just stared back at us.
One of the men murmured something, something that I at least couldn't make out.
"Pardon?" Jin questioned, as it seems I wasn't the only one who didn't hear him.
"Booty." The male said clearer this time.
Booty? Like buttocks?
"Excuse me?" Jin questioned.
"Money, *scurvy dog." The male went on again.
(*scurvy dog - an insulting name)
I suppose sea talk varies quite a bit. Maybe they presume we are sailors.
"Money? Who has money when they were just found shipwrecked?" Jin exclaimed.
"Arrgh, these men are *shark bait." The male beside him snapped, pointing his finger at us.
(*shark bait - If you're made to walk the plank, chances are you'll be shark bait. Also, a dying sailor whose body will soon be thrown into the sea, in this case the male sees them as worthless)
"Walk the plank!" Another shouted, hoping to convince the rest of the sailors.
"Excuse me, who is in charge here?" Jin asked, his voice sounding a little panicked.
One male sailor stepped aside and my eyes and heart couldn't believe the sight in front of me.
The new sailor that was at view was the most handsome young man that I have ever seen.
His hair was a dark brunette shade that stuck out of a red bandana.
He has gorgeous coffee toned soft eyes and a small stubby rosy nose.
His lips were a pastel pink that curved perfectly around the golden pipe that was in his mouth.
His clothing was similar to the other men, only he wore a fabric navy blue waistcoat over a white blouse with red cloths intertwining with his belt and weapon belt.
He dressed more like a pirate than a sailor- Wait, pirates!
We were saved by PIRATES!
"I said, who is in charge here?" Jin spoke again, a tone of annoyance seeping through.
This time the male who I think is stunning, cast his gaze over at us, instead of gazing out at sea.
He looks even more attractive from the front than the side of his face.
"I heard you the first time." He spoke up, his voice sounding sweet like honey, but with a raspy after tone.
I swooned over the male at sight, trying to hold back the saliva that wanted to drip down my lips.
"Okay well I beg you to not send us back over board." Jin said as the male walked over to us, his tanned skin perfectly on view as the first couple of buttons on his blouse were undone, exposing some of his caramel chest.
"And why should I not?" The sailor asked, squaring up my brother as he stood in front of Jin, taking the pipe out of his mouth.
"Because we are very important people." Jin spoke up.
The mysterious male pouted, placing his hands either side of his weapon belt, "Aw, is that supposed to make me care? Is that supposed to change things? None of you are important to me." The pirate in charge said sarcastically.
This made my brother entirely lose his patience.
"I am Kim Seok-Jin, prince, son of the King of South Korea!" Jin said quickly.
"And this is Kim Namjoon, nephew of the King of South Korea." Jin went on, talking about Namjoon who was beside him.
"Do you have proof of that? Like ID?" The male asked, a strong pirate's accent seeping through his voice now as he made his crew laugh at his commentary.
"What? Everyone knows who we are, we don't need ID." Jin scoffed.
"But then anyone could fake being a prince, just to try and get special treatment." The main pirate replied, his face leaning closer to Jin's face who leaned his head away from him.
"Look rude bitch," Jimin began from beside me, capturing the male's attention.
Jimin then pointed at me before he continued speaking, "This male right here is about to be crowned king in a couple weeks, so I'd not throw us back in the water or you will seriously get in a whole lot of trouble if you dare throw us back in. And I am not talking about just losing your boat or some money. I am talking prison, you may never get to sail across the sea ever again." Jimin snapped.
My heart was pounding super quickly as the attractive male was now staring at me.
I felt my cheeks start to heat up as his eyes scanned over me.
He then stepped over to Jimin and I.
"Where are your shoes, buddy?" He questioned me, his voice sounding lighter and more just confused; only his rich accent made my heart skip a beat.
His crew burst out laughing once more.
I looked down at my bare feet.
"Oh, um, I lost them when we became shipwrecked." I stuttered, looking up again to see the stunning male staring directly at me.
I never stutter but yet this attractive male is making me nervous and reminding me all over again that I am homosexual.
"Look, if you are about to judge me because I have no shoes and 'must not be a prince' if I seem under dressed, well you are wrong. Princes still have bare feet under shoes and sometimes they like to get wet when dipping them in sea water," I began.
"And I don't personally care if you do send us back into the water, I think it's highly unethical, degrading and a horrible decision, but I personally am not against the sea. It just is unethical to send us back into the water without a chance of survival, especially if you rescue us and give us hope. It's entirely inhumane." I finished.
The male now just raised his eyebrow at me.
He fake coughed before speaking, "For starters, Kim Taehyung," He began, saying my name without me even telling him it.
"I know who you are. I know your face. Once I saw you from your companions blabber, I did recognise the new king of South Korea's face as I do keep up to date with rules and important people in South Korea, my home country," He continued.
Shooting Jin a glare which made me softly smile because the gorgeous man knows me and not my brother.
"However, your political statements about ethics did really sell me that you are who you say you are. I also never said I would throw any of you's overboard to begin with." The lead pirate finished saying.
The male then stepped back from me, putting the pipe back in his mouth.
"You may be royalty, but you are nothing out here." He stated, looking at us while blowing some smoke out of his pipe before continuing to speak.
"You may rule the land, but you do not rule the sea. From now on, you all will listen to me." He clearly spoke, making my brother cross his arms over his chest with annoyance.
"You may stay, but on my terms," He began.
"You will do everything I say, and work for me and my crew." He finished saying while leaning on the mast pole that was in the middle of the ship, attached to the mainsail.
"Is this just while you are taking us home?" Namjoon calmly spoke up.
"No, this is until I decide to take you home."
