Captains POV
"Hurt him and you are dead." Jimin snapped once Taehyung walked away.
I cocked my eyebrow at his attitude.
Did Taehyung tell him something?
"Who said I am going to hurt him?" I questioned in confusion.
"Me. That boy has a soft heart that gets walked over all the time and I'm not having it from you to him. He needs you more than you'd even know." Jimin spat.
"None of that makes sense." I gasped out.
"Yeah because you are blind to that handsome male's feelings, you think he enjoys you being fun and then telling him off? He gets enough telling off back home." Jimin snickered.
"He needs to learn that some relationships are tough and that not everyone will like him, Jimin." I said, now walking down the stairs with Jimin.
"He's dealt with tough relationships through his entire life, he hates being prince and having to meet standards of what's expected of him. The least you can do is give him a normal experience because he is fond of you already. And you can trust him if he kept his identity secret today." Jimin explained.
"I do it to keep him below me, you are among royal people that outrank me completely. I can't let Taehyung walk over me or everyone will." I explained as we walked down to the empty rowing room.
"I understand that but Taehyung knows how to obey. He will listen to you, even if you appear as a friend or something like that." Jimin explained while he began to row.
"What do you mean by something like that?" I questioned.
"I just mean your binary to just be his friend isn't limited, you can be something different to that if you want." Jimin explained.
My hand instantly grabbed the knife I'd been throwing around earlier that I put in my belt.
I raised the knife to Jimin's neck, making him shriek.
"Did Taehyung tell you I am homosexual?" I snapped.
"Wha- Are you?" Jimin questioned.
"Wouldn't tell you that even if I wasn't holding a knife to your neck." I replied.
"Look, he did explain to me what happened briefly between you both before," Jimin said.
"I knew it." I cut in.
"But, that's not why I said that. I meant it as you could try to have a homosexual relationship with him if that's something you'd like and something he'd like because I don't know what either of you are thinking, or maybe you could hate him which is half what you are already displaying to Tae which is what I was meaning." Jimin commented.
I retracted the knife.
"Oh." I mumbled.
"Sorry, I am just so used to being labelled that it does bother me when I am trying hard for people." I explained while sitting down beside Jimin.
"You mean that as in?" Jimin questioned.
"I guess trying to give the soon to be king every bit of hospitality while working for you is a big request, if I can keep him as happy as possible then it may stop me from being killed for my actions." I explained to him.
"You're threatened by what he may do when he's back in Korea?" Jimin questioned.
"Entirely. I have more of a life to live. Of course it was my choice but I just hate seeing rich people not working their entire life." I stuttered.
"For everyone else's years of work, they deserve a taste of it too." I said.
"Taehyung does work though." Jimin replied, making me laugh uncontrollably.
"Why are you laughing?" Jimin snapped.
"Well they obviously don't, they don't appear to have ever experienced calluses." I said.
"There's other types of work you can do, it doesn't have to be all physical." Jimin stated.
"Taehyung works hard, working with the press, following orders from advisors, appearing in images, trying to say the right thing and do things to provide for Korean people. He represents a lot in Korea so he can't just fade or hide away, he must work." Jimin explained.
"Either way, I mean physical labour." I muttered.
"Look, all I am saying is don't make my best friend's life hell when he's already been through that." Jimin reinforced.
"I don't intend on making it hell." I replied, while playing with the knife in my hand.
After a moment's silence, Jimin spoke up, "What are you still doing here?"
"What?" I questioned while feeling confused.
"Go to him? Do I need to give you a weird prep talk again?" Jimin joked.
Go to him?
I'm probably the last person he wants to see right now.
But I suppose I need to make it up to him.
I really don't mean to upset him.
It's just really hard for me to act around Taehyung as I struggle with my identity in front of him.
Do I act informally or formally?
Which would he respect more?
Being myself or meeting standards he's used to.
Because I want to look the best in his eyes.
Probably for silly dreams but a man can try.
I got up from the bench, wandering away from Jimin to go find Taehyung.
I felt a bit giddy being able to go see him actually.
Especially after Jimin hyped me up.
Jimin wants me to behave in a certain way around Taehyung.
Should I listen to Jimin and just try my nice side instead of intimidating to see if he still obeys me?
God I hope he handles seeing me well and doesn't get angry at me after I seem to keep triggering him.
Though he does keep triggering me too.
I just pray for another positive conversation, and hopefully all positive conversations from now on.
Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? This chapter is a bit short but I wanted the Captain seeing Taehyung in a seperate chapter. Do yal think the Captain could be gay though???
