Taehyungs POV

My eyes twitched open, feeling a light nudge on my arm constantly.

My golden orbs opened slowly but I didn't expect to see the captain in front of me this early in the morning.

It was so dark that it must have been as early as five or six o'clock in the morning.

My heart raced as we made eye contact.

"Get up." I heard his somewhat tired, raspy voice cooed.

Even my morning length couldn't help but get excited to have this male get that close to me.

I sat up in bed wearing only a singlet and pants instead of a proper shirt.

Thankfully Jimin made me one that I can now always sleep in so that I am not making my other clothes get smelly or get covered in my dead skin cells from night.

My eyes landed on the others still asleep while the Captain stood up straight holding a single candle on a saucer.

But why is it just me awake?

I didn't question him and put on my other shirt as he began nagging me to hurry up.

I sleepily got out of bed and instantly he grabbed my wrist pulling me down the hallway.

"What's going on?" I asked him while walking up the stairs.

"I'll explain soon." He mumbled as we made it to the deck of the ship.

I lightly whimpered feeling the cool morning breeze on my face.

But thankfully he pulled me back inside and took me to his room.

Wait, why his room?

Is he going to try to sleep with me?

We both aren't wearing pyjamas though...

And it is morning.

He wore an oversized coffee brown jacket with black pants and simple black pirate boots.

He seemed to be wearing a blouse under his coat but it wasn't as obvious because his coat was pulled closed from the cold, and because of a brown bag that he had slung around his left shoulder, crossing over so the bag rested by his right hip.

"Put this on." He demanded while grabbing a black poncho with a hood from a cream coloured closet that sat between his bed and desk.

I did as I was told again, learning to not question him because I know he doesn't like it when I do so.

He then guided me out onto the deck, pulling my hood up for me after noticing I'd left it around my shoulders.

I pouted knowing it was slightly blocking my sight because of the oversized hood.

I gasped however when he led me over to the edge of the boat.

Only instead of there being sea at the edge, there was a wooden wharf.

"Don't let the others leave." I heard the captain instruct a crew member who stood on the wharf as he stepped across.

He then helped me across before leading me away from the boat.

Am I home?

Has he brought me back? But only me?

Does he want me to fulfil my duties but not the others?

We walked up towards a seaside town from the wharf.

And my heart was racing feeling the captain's hand on my bare wrist now as he dragged me through people.

If he was to let go, I could surely escape and run away.

But would I want to do that?

The people grew in numbers as morning shopping stalls lined old fashioned Asian housing.

However I understood the situation clearer when I heard not Korean being spoken, but Japanese.

He's brought us to Japan.

"Why are we in Japan?" I asked him, once we made it out of a clearing of people.

Now the male did turn to me, his luminous mysterious deep brown eyeshadow pinpointing my eyes on the other male as he spoke.

"We were on our way to Japan to pick up supplies before we found you's in the water. I decided it'd be best to continue because if we hadn't continued sailing in this direction, my crew would've run out of affordable food while feeding you. Plus I want to get other supplies here such as more fabric for your friend to work with and such." The male explained.

I hummed in response as I recognized him leading me towards other crew members that stood by fish stalls.

I scrunched up my nose to the stench.

"Do your family members and workers like seafood or prefer other produce?" He asked while looking at some cuts of fish on a table.

"Ah, either. No one is a problematic eater to my knowledge." I answered him.

He nodded.

"God can we not stand by the fish though, it smells horrific." I whined, slightly tugging on his hand holding my wrist.

Only it made him hold it tighter.

"You don't like the smell of fresh fish aye?" The captain questioned with a light snicker.

"No I do not." I muttered.

"Get a couple fish and some other produce that seems cheap. Try to bargain down or steal if you wish, just take it back to the ship to store it as soon as possible. I'm going to look at other items with Taehyung." He said turning to a crew member.

Steal?

I keep forgetting these men and women aren't up to much good.

Thankfully the captain led me away from the others, the fish smell disappearing from my nostrils.

"Do you have to hold my wrist so tightly?" I asked when we stood alone from other people, looking at some nice plates that locals were selling.

"I am not sure whether you'd run or not." He commented, looking at me while I just continued to look at the plates even though it didn't interest me much.

"Run where? I don't even speak Japanese so I couldn't get help. The only way I could get in some trouble would be if someone recognizes me." I replied.

I felt his hand let go of mine now, sort of making me feel sad at the lack of contact I had with this attractive male but also feeling relieved that he trusts me because my wrist was beginning to ache.

"That's why you will keep your hood on and eyes down. Don't make eye contact with other people." He sternly explained while leading me towards other stalls.

However I stopped in front of gorgeous jewellery that sat on a table before an old looking Japanese man.

My eyes fell upon a stunning red crystal stone necklace with a basic silver chain.

The captain stopped walking after noticing I was no longer walking beside him.

He eyed me up and down as I looked at it, only I have no money with me right now.

Especially not Japanese currency.

"What are you looking at?" He asked me, walking back over to me to peer at the table.

"Red crystal pendant." I replied.

"For a girlfriend or something?" He questioned me.

"No, you heard about my luck with women yesterday." I scoffed.

"For yourself?" He asked, thankfully not teasing me like he did yesterday.

I nodded silently.

My lips fell agape hearing the captain speak some Japanese.

I watched as the Japanese man stood up from a chair, turning around to grab what looked like an old ish jade statue out of a cardboard box.

The captain's fingers worked quickly as he grabbed the red crystal pendant necklace off the table, shoving it inside his brown bag before speaking some more Japanese to the male, before grabbing my wrist again to lead me away from the table.

"You stole!" I gasped out when we were alone.

"I didn't wanna pay that price for it. It's a gorgeous necklace but it's not that worth that money. Japanese people just try to get as much profit as possible from sailors and I'm not a common sailor that will put up with high prices." He snapped.

"I mean fair but you didn't even try bargaining with him. You also didn't have to get it for me." I replied.

"I know. I just wanted to distract him and ask him for something else he may have to offer to buy. It works okay. Plus it's something you wanted so it is worth it." He muttered as he led me back towards the wharf.

"Plus we got the necklace which was the end goal anyways." He commented.

My eyes widened as I looked over at him, a roll of fabric in his hand.

"When the fuck did you get that?" I snapped in shock, profanity slipping from my lips on accident.

"I stole it okay, calm down or you're going to draw attention to me." He whined as we walked along the wooden wharf.

It seems there was a fabric stall close to the wharf that he nicked some when walking by quickly.

"You're unbelievable. You shouldn't be doing that at your age." I commented as we climbed back onto his ship.

"I shouldn't be doing a lot of things at my age." He replied with a laugh.

"Set sail for where the other ships are, we can park up for the day." He demanded.

"Ai, yes captain!" A crew member called.

I sat down on a wooden barrel, looking out at sea while we moved back towards the sea before the anchor dropped in the harbour.

"Can I have my clothes back?" The captain asked from behind me.

I nodded silently, pulling the warm cape and hood off from around my neck.

Handing the male back the poncho.

He took it from my hands, walking away from me as I sat, letting the sun hit my face as it slowly rose into the sky.

I can't believe what I just witnessed.

My crush is totally a criminal, but yet I still somehow fall for this guy and his naughty behaviour.

Moments later though I heard his footsteps again.

The sparkly silver chain was draped around my neck, the crystal pendant in the centre as I looked down.

I could feel his light breathing on my neck as he did up the back of the necklace, his pinky fingers brushing against my neck gently.

A smile appeared on my lips out of happiness.

But not just because of the beautiful necklace, but rather because of the wonderful male behind me who I think is warming up to me.

I have made a bond through chatting with him and he's trusted me this morning that I wouldn't run away.

"Thank you." I softly let leave my lips.

He said nothing, yet my smile grew wider as he ruffled his hand through my hair before leaving me alone.

His actions made my heart feel weak while my smile couldn't perish.

The captain really has me under some wicked love spell because I am craving the attention from this male. From his intricate kindness, to his funny jokes, even to his dominance over me. I want it all! I want this male!

Thoughts? Feelings? Concerns? They are cute, almost holding hands and Taehyung is loving the way the Captains touching him.
