I'm on a road trip to a nearby state to see a baseball game with my parents. But we just stopped at a mall, and they had a Hot Topic. It had much better stuff than the nearest Hot Topic to my house, so I went in to spend some cash and buy some trash, but the clerks were very interactive. Here's my adventures in Hot Topic~

Employee: Oh, can I help you with anything?

Dad: oh, we're just looking at shirts.

Employee: Shirts are buy one, get one 30% off.

Dad: Well, (name) do you want another shirt?

Me: yeah uh... How about the Black Parade one??

Employee: Well, if the unisex Melanie Martinez shirt fits you in that size, this one might be too small, these are the ladies' fit. We have some bigger shirts back here though, wanna look?

Me: yeah.

*MAGICAL JOURNEY BETWEEN ME AND EMPLOYEE, THIS CONVERSATION HAPPENS.*

Employee: so we got some My Chem. shirts over here..

Me: ugh, I'm obsessed with too many bands.

Employee: There's nothing wrong with that! Music is awesome!

*So the Employee starts sorting the MCR shirts and I stifle a laugh because of how many there is*

Employee: yeahhh, we got a lot.

Me: I think I like the first one you showed me

Employee: okay, let's go!

*at the counter*

Me: *brings a toy replica of the impala from SPN to the counter* Mom, can I have this too?

Mom: Fine. *looks at the clerk* She watches that ol' Supernaturals or whatever-

Employee: OMG DID YOU SEE THE CASTIEL BACKPACKS?! HERE LET ME SHOW YOU THEM!

*The clerk leads me to possible the cutest backpacks I have ever seen, with Castiel's wings on them! So we're fangirling over them, and then..*

Mom: What is it now?

Employee: *Strikes a pose with the backpack* THEY'RE CASTIEL BACKPACKS!

Me: Yeah, Mom, how hard is that to understand!? *snickering*

Mom: T.T

Employee: anyways..

Me: *grabs one of the backpacks to take it to the counter*

Mom: (name) put that back. What would you even do with that!?

Employee: Take it to school! Use it as a purse!

Me: Yeah!

Mom: put it back.

Me: T.T fine

Employee: *checking us out, when suddenly:* oh, these are the new key chains we got in?

Other employee: *comes over* Oh yeah!

Employee: yeah we got foxy, Freddy...

Other Employee: Oh, have you guys seen that video where the uh Showbiz animatronics ,, well someone bought them and programmed them to dance to this song, and it was really creepy.

Mom: oh, have you ever been to Billy Bob's Pizzeria?

Me: mom those are the Showbiz animatronics. Well we went there for a school end of the year test trip and they were creepy

Other Employee: Oh my gosh!

Me: yeah. and when we went in like all my friends noticed it was like Five Nights at Freddy's and one of them was like, "this must be a dream come true for you (name)-"

Mom: honey we have to go

me: T.T

*and then, as we left...*

Me: Mom.

Mom: yes?

Me: These.. These are my people.
