SIXTY FOUR- Special (Part 2)

"Hold me down, and I'm gone do the same for you, love." - Jeremih

MAJESTY

"Why you staring at me?" I ask Noble, looking at him funny. This nigga won't take his eyes off me. "Cause we look alike. I know we twins but I never stopped and looked at you. Nigga, we identical." he says, wide eyed. "No shit, Sherlock. The hell, Noble?" I ask. "Bruh, even our teeth alike." he says. "At least they white and straight. Shout out to momma and daddy." I say, laughing. He starts laughing then nods his head. "I got a big dick so I think granddaddy Antonio blessed us with that cause grandma said he packing heat." he says. I burst into laughter. "You sound so childish." I say, shaking my head.

Before he can say anything, Amari runs in our room crying loud as hell. He jumps in my arms, screaming. "What's wrong, lil man?" I ask as Noble and I look at him funny. "Snake!" he screams. "Snake?" Noble asks. He nods his head. "LaLa got a snake and him gone bite me!" he screams, crying harder. I bite my lip, holding back laughter. It's like when Amari starts crying, he uses the wrong grammar and forgets all his common sense. Then he got this ugly crying face. His mouth be wide open and he have his tongue stuck out the whole time.

Noble bursts into laughter. "Noble, shut up." I say, laughing. Amari draws back then hits me in my face. "Don't laugh at me!" He yells. Noble starts dying laughing. "This mane fist little as hell." he says. "Suh my dick." he mumbles. My eyes widen. "Quit saying that." I demand. He can't even say suck right and got the nerve to tell folks to suck it. "It's big." he says. "I'm gone tell mommy." Noble says. "Yeah, quit saying that. It's a bad thing." I say. "I don't care." he mumbles, laying his head on my shoulder. "Cut it out, Amari Antonio Mitchell." I demand. "Well damn, Majesty, you his daddy ain't it?" Noble asks, dying laughing. Amari starts laughing with him, clueless about what he even laughing at.

LaLa walks in our room holding a snake. My eyes widen. "Yo, what the hell?" Noble yells at her, standing up. "Why are you running from my snake? He won't hurt you." she says. "LaLa, if you don't get up out my room with that snake, you and the snake gone be out the window." I say, trying to calm Amari down as he cries. He's so afraid of anything walking that aint human. He don't play that shit.

"Why yall so scared?" she asks. "Antayla, where you get a snake from?" Noble asks her. "Good question." I say. She starts grinning. "Tae showed me how to pick a lock. Sooo... you know the old white lady that live two houses down? The one that called the police on daddy because she thought he was a thug that was here to break in people's houses?" she asks. I nod my head yes. When we were in the process of moving here, an old, rich white woman swore up and down my dad, Tez, KeKe, and Uncle Vonte were here robbing people, so she called the cops. Then when she found out my dad could really afford the biggest mansion in this area, she had a fit about how she felt like drug money purchased it. She stay pretending like she walking her weak ass poodle all the time when we all know she just be being nosey. One time, grandpa Nathan was over here and shot her dog with a pellet gun just because she was being a bitch.

"What about her?" Noble asks. "Well... me and Tae talked about how I didn't like her. He said he knew how to pick a lock. So, we broke in her house. I pushed her in the closet then put her chair infront of the door so she couldn't get out. Then we stole her pet snake, his terrarium, and all the snake food." she answers, laughing hard as she rubs on the snake.

My eyes widen along with my brother's. "Tae!" Noble yells. Tae runs in here. "Pause, why yall got black stripes painted under yall eyes like yall going to war?" Noble asks. They got on matching army outfits, paint under the eyes, and camouflage hats on their heads. "Cause we went on a mission. What do you want? Me and LaLa have things planned for the day." he says  "Why the hell did yall steal a snake? What the hell yall breaking and entering for?" I ask. Both of them look at each other then burst into laughter. "I forgot how bad they are when they link up over all this time. Damn, it's finna be so many butt whooping thrown yall way." I say, laughing as I glance down at Amari. He so lazy. He fell asleep on me that fast.

The sound of police sirens throw me off. Noble and I look at each other. I stand up then look out the window. "Shit." I mumble. It's three police cars outside. "You think they finna raid this bitch?" Noble asks, looking out the window. "Fuck, I don't know. LaLa, Tae, get Jessie and Reign, tell em start flushing shit, the police outside." I say, jumping up.

Noble and I run to my daddy's room, then start snatching his hidden shit. I rush to the toilet then start flushing. My daddy never brings home none of his shit he push in the streets but he has so much weed in the house because he a stoner. The feds are petty as fuck and I don't have time for anybody to get locked up for having personal weed.

"Finish that." I say to Noble. I walk out then walk downstairs to the front door. The people putting up our gate with be here tomorrow morning. I wish they would've done it already because I definitely would've left the punk ass police outside the gate to the house.

I open the door. "Can I help you, officers?" I ask all three of them. "Are you Antasia Mitchell? Excuse me if I mispronounced that." he says. I raise my eyebrow as I hold my daddy's gun behind my back. I don't trust the police. I'm mixed and all that but I obviously act more black than any of the bullshit my parents are mixed with. So, sometimes police treat me just as bad as the typical black guy for some reason. I'll be damned if one of these officers try it. I'm blowing a head off. He already seem like he got an issue with me.

"Who said an Antasia even stay here?" I ask. "Stop fucking playing dumb." his partner snaps. I look at him. "Nigga, you playing dumb by even being here." I warn him. "Was that a threat, young man?" the third officer asks. "Take it as what you want. But why yall out here giving me a hard time? My daddy ain't here right now, what yall want?" I ask. "Fix your grammar and your tone." the rude ass second officer, officer Paul demands, roughly shoving me.

His partner grabs him. I smile a little as I stand back up. "Bad move, officer." I say, laughing a little. "That's a threat as well?" he yells. KeKe runs up to the porch after jumping out of his car. "What yall hoe ass officers here for? I don't give a fuck about that badge, put another hand on my lil brother if you want to. Now, my father ain't home so I'm the man of this shit. I'm grown, talk to me, he a child. What in the hell are yall here for?" KeKe asks, clearly irritated.

I know for a fact my big brother will shoot the whole LAPD over me so I advise these folks get respectful. "We got a report of a robbery and we were told the suspects lived in this home but are minors. We need to speak with the parents." the respectful officer calmly says. "Don't nobody in here be robbing folks. Look around, you can't even live over here if you ain't sitting on some big money. Not to be cocky, but nobody in my house have a reason to rob." KeKe says.

I swallow hard. The reality is Tae and LaLa are old enough to go to juvenile for the stuff they do. They used to jump kids and what not when they were younger, but it wouldn't matter at that age, but they're nine and ten now and kids get locked up every single day at their age. "Are the parents home, sir?" he asks KeKe. "Naw, they out right now. Come back later." he answers, making me laugh. This nigga told them come back later like they the hotel staff trying to clean the hotel room while he in there fucking or something.

"I'm going about this the best I can. If a parent doesn't show up, I'm gonna just do it my way. I'm asking nicely." he says. "Majesty, go get momma and daddy on the phone. Officers, yall can wait in yall cars until they get home." he says to them. I turn around then walk back in the house.

I jog upstairs then stop infront of LaLa's bathroom. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask as her and Tae hold the snake over the toilet. "I'm not finna go to jail, imma drown the snake." LaLa answers. "No, chill. Go put it in the damn thing it came in. Momma and daddy finna come home." I say, then walk out.

"What's going on?" Jessie asks. "Tae and LaLa stole the old bitch snake, now the police at the front asking for momma and daddy." I answer. "Folks broke in and took the bitch snake. Hell naw." he says, dying laughing as his face turns red. "It ain't that funny. They ass locked her in the closet." I say, going to my daddy's contact name. "Tae, don't drop the soap, my lil nigga!" Jessie yells as Tae and LaLa walk in the hallway. This nigga is on the floor rolling around laughing. "You already dropped it, faggot." Tae says.

Damn, it's always something. My momma and daddy gone tear this bitch down. It's gone be so funny though. I can't wait. My daddy probably won't hit Tae because he ain't his child, but my momma gone beat him until he can't cry no more. Plus, I already know when Montana get out the hospital and recover, Tae getting a part two.

ANT

"You took me to a park, Jessica? How is that special?" I ask, chuckling. "Shut up, this ain't where I'm taking you. I just wanted to stop here and go for a quick walk first. The sunset is so pretty." she says. I grab her hand then smile at her. "I'm just playing, I'm cool with wherever you take me. And yeah, it is pretty." I say, looking at it.

"Look." she says, pointing at kids and a teenaged couple standing in an ice cream truck line. "That was us like plenty of years ago. Damn, how long we even been fucking with each other?" I ask. "That's a good question. The twins seventeen and I believe I was about twenty when I had them. Then we met when I was sixteen. That's like, twenty one years, right?" she asks. "Damn, it's been forever." I say.

"Right. When you walked in my house that day, I never imagined having all these kids by you, marrying you, or any of that. I love you, Ant." she admits. I look down, trying my hardest to not start blushing. "I love you too." I say. "I see you sitting here blushing with your wanna be tough ass." she says, making me laugh as she pinches my cheeks. "Chill out, bruh, dang." I say, laughing harder.

"I want a popsicle." she says. "Say no more." I joke, undoing my black and gold Hermes belt. "Get your nasty ass on somewhere." she says, laughing.

I smile then wrap my arm around her. "I'm just playing. You said you don't wanna have sex so imma respect it and wait." I say. "All, somebody's growing up." She jokingly says. I look down at my phone then ignore Majesty's phone call. Knowing him, he's about to beg me to let him smoke my weed or something like that. I've accepted the fact my son is a stoner.

"Your phone keeps ringing." she says, looking down. "To be totally honest, while you were away, I had a few girlfriends. I recently got dumped by one because I love you. Now, she calling me back to back." I admit. It's no more secrets with me. I ain't trying to make the same mistakes I made back to back because I hide shit. "Maybe, she pregnant. You kinda reckless with your seeds." she sarcastically says.

"I've only been reckless with my seeds with you because I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. KeKe and Jessie obviously weren't purposely made. I only purposely impregnated you. Plus, I never hit Tanya raw so I doubt it's a pregnancy." I explain.

"See what she wants." she says. I sigh then call Tanya back. "What's good, Tanya?" I ask her. "I miss you. We should meet somewhere and talk. I will not be disrespected by you and your children. I know you're a good man, Ant, and that's hard to find. I feel like we should make things right." she says. I'm almost positive Jessica heard her because she awkwardly looked away.

"Tanya... why do you want me if I'm in love with another woman? I could never fully dedicate myself to you. What do you think would happen if she walked back into my life right now? Do you think I'd drop her or do you think my love would just grow for her? Be real with yourself." I say, trying to be as nice as I can be. "Fuck her." she screams, catching me off guard. She's most likely drunk. Jessica takes my phone out my hand.

"You should never say fuck a person that you never even met." Jessica says. Tanya gets quiet. "Who is this?" she finally asks. "I don't know, figure it out." Jessica says, then hands my phone back to me.

"Who was that?" Tanya asks. "Tanya, I'm cool on your offer. I'm in love with somebody else." I tell her. "Was that her?" she asks. "Bye, Tanya." I say, then hang up on her. "Why did you have to be messy?" I ask Jessica. "I wasn't being messy." she says. "Lie again." I threaten, playfully grabbing her.

My phone starts ringing again. "What the hell do he want?" I mumble, answering it. "What, Majesty?" I ask. "Sorry yall gotta cut yall date short. The police here, they need to talk to yall." he says. "Talk about what?" I ask. "A robbery. Take yo medicine, daddy, cause I'm positive you gone flip out." he says. "What happened?" I ask. "Somebody in here robbed somebody but I ain't saying no names. See ya." he says, then hangs up.

"Jessica... we gotta do this another time, babygirl. The police at my house so I gotta go handle that." I say, sighing. I'm so mad. One of these kids getting the shit beat out of them. My date got cut short. So, since my night is ruined, somebody else's  about to be too.

"Why? What happened?" she asks. "Something about one of the kids robbing somebody." I answer, pulling my car keys out my pocket. She shakes her head. "Our kids are so bad." she mumbles. "They mentally ill." I correct her. "Ant, they know what they be doing." she says. "Yeah, but they all crazy." I say. "Whatever." she says as my phone rings again.

"Who is this?" I ask, unlocking my car doors. I go open Jessica's door for her, then walk over to my side. "This your daddy." my dad answers. "Who number is this? Wassup?" I ask him, sitting in my seat. "The hospital." he answers. "Why you calling from a  hospital? You good?" I ask, starting up the car. I ignore Nathan's phone call. I'll call him back when I get off the phone with my daddy.

"Man... me, Tez, your momma, and your lil brother went out for dinner. I got caught up." he answers. "What you mean? You, Tez, and Adam okay?" I ask as Jessica looks at me, concerned. I ain't worried about my momma. Her health really doesn't matter to me at all. It probably should but it doesn't.

"Yeah, it's your momma. Man, we were walking to the car, then niggas came out of nowhere. Adam got knocked out, Tez shot one of the niggas, and me and your momma got fucked up while I was trying to protect your momma. She in the hospital bruised up. Come see her." he demands. "I'm glad yall alive but I don't wanna see her." I say. "Ant, your momma could've died this evening." he says, sighing. "And?" I ask. "I got stuff to do, pops. Imma holler at you later." I tell him, then hang up before he can start talking shit.

"You really should let your hate for your momma go... you'll feel better. I had to forgive everybody who wronged me and when I did that, it's like I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Don't hold what she did to you as a child over her head. She's getting older. Her and your dad are like in their fifties. They're still kinda young but they're getting older. They won't be here forever. Ask yourself if you really wouldn't care if she would've died." Jessica says. "Imma take the kids to see her, that's it." I say. This is the last thing I want to talk about. "Okay, Ant. You always want someone to forgive you so why can't you forgive your momma? You've put our kids through tough shit but they still forgave you and loved you." she says. "Jessica, please, shut the fuck up about that shit. Don't even compare what I did to my kids to what went on with me and my momma because it ain't the same. It's a lot of shit you don't even know about that I'm taking yo the grave with me, so stop worrying about it. She know damn well why I'll never respect her just like I do. Jessica, drop it." I demand.

"Fine. Whatever, I just wanted to help." she says. "And I appreciate that, alright? I ain't trying to be rude towards you or hurt your feelings, I just don't like talking about my momma. Okay?" I ask. "I get it." she says, rolling her eyes. She leans back in her seat then starts staring out the window. "So, now you mad at me? I just told you I was not trying to hurt your feelings." I say. "I don't care, Ant. I'm not mad." she says. Damn, now she all mad at me and shit. "I'm sorry I snapped and took it out on you. I never should've did that." I admit, looking over at her. "It's fine." she says.

I bite the inside of my lip as I drive. "Turn something on. My password is what I anniversary was." I say, giving her my phone. She plugs it in the aux cord, then starts scrolling through my music. "I would like to get to know if I could be. The kind of girl that you could be down for." Jessica sings along to Brandy's old song. "You used to stay playing this song." I say, chuckling as I think about it. She smiles a little.

"I don't feel like dealing with no cops." I say, pulling in my driveway. "Let's just hope for the best." she says as she shakes her head. We get out of the car then walk over to the cop cars.

"What's up?" I ask them. "Your neighbor, Janice called and told us your youngest children broke into her home, stole her pet snake, and locked her in her closet." he says. "What? Our youngest children are four and five months." I say. "We have sketches." he says, opening a notebook. Damn, these sketches perfectly match LaLa and Tae. This shit sounds right up their ally.

"Officers, they're children. They're very adventurous." Jessica says, licking her lips at him. I raise my eyebrow as she openly flirts with him. All three of the officers are staring at her body. "Her eyes ain't on her titties." I say to the other officer.

"How about you let us handle this and we'll do something for you guys." Jessica says, grinning. "Like what?" he asks. She leans in his ear then whispers something. His eyes light up. I watch as he pulls his phone out. She winks at them, then puts a phone number in it. "See you guys later." she says. "Yall have a good night. Make sure the children stay out of trouble." he says. "We will." Jessica says, giggling.

The front door open. LaLa and Tae walk out the house holding the damn snake. "Stealing will get you in jail." the officer calmly tells them. "Ew, blowing bad breath in people's face gone get you in jail. Golly, do you even own toothpaste?" Tae asks, squeezing his nose with a disgusted look on his face.

"Get in that house, now!" Jessica yells at them. I shake my head, watching them walk in. "Sorry for the trouble. We'll talk to old hoe up the street and shit." I say, handing each officer some money, shocking them. "Have a good night." he says. I watch as they get in their cars and pull off. It's true that money make the world go around. All you gotta is pay and niggas will do whatever, cops included.

"I'm about to tear they asses up." Jessica says, storming in the front door. I grab her arm then drag her in the bathroom. I close and lock the door. "Calm down." I demand. "No, what you mean calm down? They broke in somebody's house! Did you hear what the hell they just said these kids did?" she asks. I pick her up then sit her on the counter. "If you react now, you gone hurt them too bad. They little kids, Jessica. Calm down first." I say, moving my hands between her legs. "Are you really trying to fuck me right now? Get off me." she demands. "I'm not trying to fuck you, I'm trying to get you to calm down." I correct her, getting on my knees, sliding her pants down. "No, move. Roll me a blunt, that'll calm me down. I don't want nothing sexual." she says. I grin then stand up. "Follow me to the car. We finna go smoke." I tell her. She nods her head, fixing her pants. Yes, Tae and LaLa gone no doubt be in trouble for what they did but it don't need to happen now. She just got back yesterday and I'm trying to keep her as happy as possible. She can whoop them a week from now for all I care. I just need her to stay happy right now regardless. I'll handle the kids my damn self before I let her sit here unhappy. She had a night planned for me but I got one for her, little do she know. That's what I'm really about to do after we smoke.

"I love you." I tell her as we walk out to my car. "Love you too." she says. "Calm down. Smile." I demand. "No." she says. I lean over then start kissing all over her while tickling her. She bursts into laughter. "Quit." she demands, laughing hard. I stop then smile. "See, there go the smile I like. Chill out, aight? Don't worry bout nothing right now, let's just relax and enjoy life." I tell her. She smiles then nods her head as I roll the blunt in my lap. "You're right. But I'm still beating some ass when I calm down. It's nothing you can say to save those two." she says. "Fair enough." I say, making her laugh.
