Before we get to the note itself, a short disclaimer:

"No books or authors were harmed in the writing of this book, except this book and its author."

None were defamed either. 

This isn't a parody for a start, as I haven't read as many suspense/thriller books as needed - usually one - to parody it/them. And so, this book may be construed as my attempt at writing a thriller - a burlesque one at that. 

And in case you are wondering what "THUD-ALL" means, it is the onomatopoeic word used by people who speak the Tamil language, to signify someone falling to the ground, a collision, or a surprising event/act. And a thriller, although burlesque, is bound to have a lot of THUD-ALL-ing.
