♤KAMARI♤

I heard a knock on my door but I was too groggy and sleepy to understand what was going on around me except the fact that the knocking was seriously giving me a headache. I heard the knock again and I groaned "go away" I said my voice muffled by the pillows.

"Um..... miss Kamari, its time for dinner and the king and queen are waiting downstairs" a voice said, my eyes snapped open and I sat up immediately, okay that got me awake. "Okay give me a minute" I said "ok miss" the maid replied.

I got up and went to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face to get me fully awake. I dried my face and got out of the bathroom. I walked to the dressing table and sat down.

I brushed my already tangled hair and decided to tie it in a ponytail. I got out to see another maid different from the maid that led me here earlier. "Lets go" I said and she bowed, okay I'm never gonna get used to this.

"This way miss" she said and I followed her, they all seem to be using this phrase around me a lot since I got here. We entered a different dining room that was different than the one I saw when I entered inside the castle.

That one seemed to be to be for occasions cos it had a long table and so many chairs but this one wasn't small but it wasn't as huge as that one, this was more cosy and more family sized .

The king and queen were already seated at the end of the table, the twins were sitting opposite to each other and Cameron was sitting beside Lucas leaving me with two options.

One, to sit beside him and two, to sit down beside Karmilla and that would have me sitting directly in front of Cameron. I decided to go with the latter. I sat down on the seat beside Karmilla and she gave me a smile to which I returned.

"Took you long enough" Cameron huffed and received a glare from his mum. The king clapped and maids started to fill the room bringing our meal. It was like a huge buffet and Lilly was wrong about the meal it wasn't all grass.

"So Kamari" the king started "yes your majesty" I replied looking at him"call me John" he said "ok John" I replied "so how are you finding the palace?" He asked.

"Great at least the places I've been to" I replied because let's face it I've only been to two places since I came, my room and now the dinning room. "I'll take you around the palace" Karmilla said with a smile "that'll be nice" I replied with a smile.

"So how do you find your room?" She asked "it's very beautiful but the dresses....." I was cut off by Margaret "they are all yours" she said "they are too much" I said "oooo, it's nothing, you'll be the crown princess soon and this will be too small when you start attending events so please don't feel burdened" she replied with a warm smile.

After the king had prayed over the meal we dug in but I was interrupted by Karmilla who tapped me and I looked at her "I like your hair. I would like mine to be as long as yours" she said pointing at my hair.

"Thanks, don't worry I'm sure yours will be longer than mine as you grow older" I said looking at her hair. Her hair was long for a girl of her age, it was reaching her back. "Really? You think so?" She asked and I nodded with a smile.

She turned to her Mum "mum, big sis here said my hair will grow longer  than hers" she smiled, I was surprised when I heard her refer to me as 'big sis' but oddly enough I liked it.

"Of course it will sweetheart" her Mum replied, I heard Lucas scoff "I think you'll shed your hair and end up bald" Lucas said "Luke!!" His mum scolded. Tsk tsk tsk, seems like someone took after Cameron's dick attitude, too bad.

He turned to me "I'll show you around instead, you wouldn't want to be stuck with a 'Barbie obsessed' all day long" he said smiling at me. "Yeah? And she'd like to be stuck with a ninja turtle freak? You've got to be kidding me" she retorted rolling her eyes.

How old are this kids again?

"Because they are cool" Lucas said "are not" she shrugged "are too" Lucas replied and they continued to bicker until Margaret hit her cutlery on her glass of wine and they stopped immediately.

"Why don't you both let Kamari decide for herself" she said looking at me and the twins directed their attention to me. "Um......... The both of you can show me around" I said and they both smiled in satisfaction.
