When life gives you lemon you....... nuh uh I'm not gonna say you make lemonade, no no no I'll say you suck it all right because life isn't all sweet as honey and it isn't even a bed of roses or wait who am I kidding roses also have thorns. So what I'm trying to say is that sometimes in life you've got to pass through several unpleasant roads to get to a pleasant destination.

We arrived at school soon enough and today Cameron decided to drive to school. If I thought that the palace was amazing then the cars would be beyond amazing.

Sure I didn't know about cars but I could tell that they were really expensive. They were up to like over fifteen cars here and I'm not even joking.

A fact I found out about Cameron today was that he was into cars. Another thing that made me amazed was the reply he gave me when I asked if his parents cars were also there.

He just shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and said ' this is my garage so everything here belongs to me their cars are parked in their garage'  he said it like it was no big deal, and boy was I tempted to ask if it was everyday you saw a teenager owning over fifteen expensive cars .

Immediately we had arrived we had earned attention from everyone and I'm guessing it had something to do with the car, because I mean who wouldn't gawk at such a beauty, the car was breathtaking and I still haven't known the name of the car yet.

As if the attention wasn't enough the moment I stepped out of the car followed by Cameron and boom the whispers and murmurs began. It was as if it was perfectly timed, call it cliche but I so badly wanted to yell at them to get a life.

But instead of doing that I bit my tongue and decided to ignore them thank God today was Friday, cos I can't imagine bearing the stares/ glares, whispers and gossip that I had received through out this week again tomorrow cos I needed a freaking break from their judgmental eyes.

Sure I was going to go through it the following week as well but at least I'd be more mentally prepared.

I opened my locker and placed my knapsack in and started getting out my books when my locker was slammed shut. I turned to see my two best friends glaring at me. I stared at them confused

"Um...... Is something wrong?" I asked honestly not having an idea on what I could have done that had pissed them off.
"Is something wrong?" Lily scoffed out sarcastically with an eye roll.

"We're meant to be asking you that, you were so out of it yesterday and wouldn't tell us any reason why and I'm sure as hell that it wasn't your period cos I know it comes up at the ending of this month......."

When lily made that statement I scrunched up my face at her, but the glare she shot me made me hold my tongue as she continued "And then we come to school this morning demanding an explanation and you're asking, is something wrong?" She said trying to mimick my voice.

"I do not sound like that" I said making a face "oh God! Kam you're unbelievable, that is beside the point here. Is that the only thing you heard out of the whole speech" Beatrice groaned in frustration.

"Okay, okay" I said raising my hands up in surrender. I couldn't tell them that my attitude was because of Cameron else they'd tease me till the day I die, I internally shuddered at that. No I can't tell them that.

Think, think, think, Kamari, think of something "um....." I began as they watched me intently "okay fine" I admitted in defeat "my mood may and may not have had something to do with Cameron" I said and turned back to open my locker to avoid their stares.

And once again my locker was rudely banged shut. They've gotta stop doing this. I turned back to them to see a wide smirk plastered on both of their faces, I mentally groaned just as lily started dragging me down the hallway.

"Lilyyyyyy, we have classes soon" I groaned. "Keyword 'soon' and perhaps class doesn't start until 8 and it like 7:30 or something" Lilly replied even though she had her back to me I could tell she was rolling her eyes.

Lily dragged me to our hangout place which was at the back of the schools building, not even giving me time to catch my breath, she turned to me with a smirk "spill" she said leaving no room for arguments.

I sighed as I started telling them all about the fainting excluding the part of the blurred images I saw, I didnt want to get them worried all for nothing. I told them about Cameron saying he'll leave me alone and how he had gone from friendly to his aloof persona.

Immediately I was done Beatrice breathed a "wow" and I nodded in agreement. "So judging from your attitude this morning, you guys are back together?" Beatrice asked and I nodded then stopped and glared at her when I saw her laughing.

"You say it like we are dating" I said making a face of disgust. "Puh-lease spare me that crap you guys will be engaged soon, next month right and soon there'll be wedding bells" Beatrice said in a sing song voice.

As much as I wanted to disagree I couldn't because I knew she was right and knowing Beatrice she would soon rub it in my fa.......  "You know I'm right Kam" she said, I knew it!

I rolled my eyes at her and checked my wrist to realize I had no wrist watch, I almost face palmed myself. I checked Lily's wrist cos I was sure she always had her wrist watch on.

I almost yelled when I saw the time, we are so late for class. Not that I loved going early to classes don't get me wrong. I just always liked avoiding any confrontation with those dumbass teachers and as luck will have it I guess I'm finally gonna have that confrontation with no other than Mrs. Hemingson.

Luckily for me Mrs Hemingson was down with the flu making it a free period, who doesn't love free period. I walked into the cafeteria to see Beatrice and Lilly sitting down with Cameron and his friends.

They were laughing at something Seth was saying. They had bonded really well and it oddly made me feel happy. I walked towards them and luckily this time there was an extra chair beside Cameron.

I plopped down on the seat and placed my head on the table. The conversation stopped immediately "hey" I said "hey" they replied back. "So what was the funny conversation you guys were having before I came" I said sitting up and picking a fry from Seth's plate who glared at me.

"Ooh nothing much we were just talking about an awesome party happening tonight" Beatrice said with a shrug "ooooo" I said nodding my head as I picked another fry from Seth's plate just to annoy him and it worked cos the next thing he did was slap my hand away and shifted his plate away from me.

I pouted at dat and turned to Cameron's plate to see it empty oh boy! I glared at him "where's your food" I said, he raised an eyebrow "um..... Where does food happen to go again when you eat it.......?" He said pretending to think "oooo pardon me for forgetting, it goes to your stomach so yeah thats where it is" he said with a smile.

I shoved his head to the side "shut up, I so hate you" I said getting up "you know that ain't true" he said. I flipped him the bird as he chuckled not before saying 'soon' making my friends and his cheer.

I rolled my eyes at this. As much as I would love to go back there and bicker with him but my stomach needed food. So I forced the irrational part of me back down and made my way to the lunch line.

I got myself some fries because that was the only thing they had left and I made my way back to our table and had my seat. I started eating when Beatrice tapped me, I looked up at her giving her a curious look.

"Are you coming to the party?" She asked me. I shrugged my shoulders and kept on eating "um..... I guess I would" I said and looked up at Cameron "can I?" I asked him.

He clearly looked surprised that I had asked him, I raised my eyebrow at him. He cleared his throat and nodded "sure as long as I'm coming" he said and I nodded returning back to my food.

"Awesome then, we'll be coming ove....." Lilly stopped herself and muttered an 'oops'. I looked up at her confused, she shook her head " oooh it's nothing, I was about saying we would come over but then I remembered you're no longer at your house" she said.

I nodded now understanding what she meant  "you can come over" I said finishing up my meal "what?" Beatrice asked surprised "don't you like need to ask perm....." Beatrice was cut off by Cameron "she already did, so you guys can come Its cool" he said

Lilly out a squeal and looked back at me eyes shining in excitement "really?" She asked and I nodded this made her squeal even more. I laughed just as the bell rang for break over. We got up disposing our trash as we each headed to our class, before I could go to my class Cameron stopped me, the others didnt seem to notice our absence.

"Can I help you?" I asked, he scratched his neck "um..... well I'll be having practices today after school, so I just wanted to ask if you would wait? Or you'd rather go with your friends?" He said staring at me unsurely.

I folded my hands and stared at him "you forget that I'm a cheerleader to easily" I said "no no no its not that, it's just, its not every time you guys have practice with us, you only have practice with us Mondays and Wednesdays" he said.

He was right about that though, we just newly decided to start practicing with the boys. I nodded "fair point, well our practice has been readjusted so you'll be seeing more of me, don't think you can get rid of me easily" I said with a wink as I walked away leaving him staring at me.

Okay so like it's been looooongggggg😂😂😂 I'm really sorry, classes and exams got me on edge😄😅 Anyway I'm done with my exams so this is should be a little celebration treat 😁. I hope you like it. I'll be updating regularly now. Thank you.
