San groans for the nth time that day due to the continuous mention of this so called 'mystery boy' which he soon found out to be Yunho.

He wasn't angry, jealous maybe but not angry. How could he? Wooyoung wasn't a child, he was free to do what he wants but all through the day as he sat through classes and made his way to work he kept thinking to himself, 'why couldn't it have been me?' or 'I should've been with them'

"San! Shit!" Hongjoong's voice calls out, snapping him back to reality. He blinks and realizes that he was burning four burgers. Hongjoong pushes him out of the way and takes over the burning pieces of meat in order to try and save them.

The kitchen slowly became engulfed with smoke and Mingi as well as a few other workers had to push open the windows and leave the back door slightly ajar.

Everyone coughs as they fan the air with their hands. After Hongjoong takes off the charcoal covered beef burgers from the stove top he looks at San causing him to shrink back. The green haired male was way too familiar with that look. His eye brows were creased, his lips formed into a thin line and there was a particular vein on his neck that only showed itself whenever he was really angry.

Hongjoong felt his blood pumping and he had to bite his tongue in order to stay calm. He knew San was really sensitive and saying the wrong thing could hurt him but he'd been liniet all morning, now he's has enough.

"What the actual fuck San. You show up to work late, you gave several customers the wrong order, you wasted about $30 worth of food and now this? What is going on today?" He raises his voice higher than he intends and San looks down apologetically.

He didn't know what to say, especially with everyone staring at him like he was a rare dinosaur fossile. Hongjoong's strong gaze softens when he sees the distressed look on the younger's face.

"Everyone back to work. Mingi could you take over for a bit?" He asks the taller and Mingi nods.

"San. Outside. Now" He directs his attention back to San then begins to walk towards the back door.

Mingi takes his arm gently. "Don't go hard on him ok?" He pleads and the shorter sighs before nodding.

Outside, San waits for him while nervously fiddling with his fingers. He knew he'd done it this time. Whenever Hongjoong was angry it usually never ended well.

He was expecting the worse but when the shorter walked out with a small smile he didn't know what to expect anymore.

"I'm so sorry Hongjoong, I've been so out of it today. It's just because of school and all the assignments I have to do. Then there's overdue bills and rent that I have pilling up" He begins, not giving the older a chance to yell at him.

"It's fine" He says simply.

San was taken back. He blinked a few times in confusion. "'It's fine'? Seriously? Aren't you gonna... fire me"

"No of course not. Look, I know if I ask what's truthfully bothering you you wouldn't tell me. Whatever it is you need to figure it out"

"I did tell you though. It's school" San shrugs a bit and Hongjoong gives him a 'do I look stupid?' face. San looks down at the concrete floor in defeat.

"Just go home. Take a break for the rest of the day. I can't have you burning anymore food"

San was a bit hesitant but he nods in agreement. He didn't understand why Hongjoong was being so forgiving, then again he's always been very kind hearted and easily manipulated. He was kind to a fault. Most managers would've sacked his ass quicker than he could count to 5 but Hongjoong wasn't like most managers.

"Ok. I'm really sorry about today hyung. I'll try and get my shit together tomorrow"

"You better. If I keep letting you off the hook everytime you do something wrong everyone else is gonna start thinking I'm playing favoritism"

"Aren't you though?" San retorts with a grin and Hongjoong nudges his side a little too hard causing the younger to stumble a bit. "Ow" He pouts.

"I wouldn't still be talking if I were you" He replies teasingly. "Go home and rest, it's not too busy so we can handle things from here"

With that they both return inside and soon San is off. As he drives out of the parking lot he calls Yunho who picks up on the first ring. "Hey" He says solemnly.

"San, about time. I was beginning to think you might've died or something"

"Why would you think that?" San asks with amusement.

"You're the only one in the whole world who hasn't called me demanding an explanation for what's going on"

"I've been at work all morning so I guess I just didn't have the time" He replies shortly and a small silence follows. Yunho wasn't really sure why the younger called but at the same time he wasn't sure he wanted to know why.

"So ah, do you want to go to Wooyoung's with me? I'm bored and don't really want to go home" San says after a few long seconds of deafening silence.

Yunho felt a chill run down his back at the thought of seeing the blonde celebrity again especial after what happened the previous night. He'd spent a lot of time thinking about that damned kiss. About how he hesitated pulling away for a second. Maybe part of him... liked it.

Still though, he'd rather just sit and wait it out. It was just a kiss. A stupid kiss that meant absolutely nothing. I didn't enjoy it at all and I definitely am not gay.

"Hello? You still there?" San's voice through the phone snaps him back to attention.

"Y-yeah I'm here. You know, I think I'd actually rather stay home. My face being all over social media and all..." Yunho replies hesitantly and the younger on the other side of the call pouts a bit but accepts his decision nonetheless.

"Ok that's fine. Take care I guess" The phone line goes dead and Yunho sighs in relief. He was grateful that San didn't try forcing it.

After a few moments of just staring into space and trying to gather his thoughts, he pulls himself off the couch and heads towards the bathroom to take a shower.

As if on the cue, the door bell rings, startling him a bit. "Damn it, I swear to God. San I--" He mutters out in annoyance but cuts his sentence short when he sees the last person he was expecting after pulling the door open.

"Hi" Hiuna's chirpy voice calls out, a wide smile etched on her glossy pink tinted lips.

"Hey, w-what are you doing here?" He stutters out. He was caught off guard by her sudden appearance. How did she even know where I live?

"Just wanted to hang out a bit. You're not busy are you? Sorry, I would've called but I wanted to surprise you" She smiles apologetically and Yunho shakes his head.

"No it's fine. Come in" He opens the door wider and she quietly steps in then the taller shuts the door behind her. "So how'd you know where I live?" He asks curiously as he enters his kitchen, Hiuna following close behind him.

"Well you mentioned you live around here so I asked around. By the way, the old lady that lives next to you is kind of a bitch" She mutters the last bit to herself as she opens up Yunho's fridge and helps herself to some grapes.

"Tell me about it. Her and her stupid pitbull that won't stop yapping at 1 in the morning everyday" He adds and they both burst into laughter.

Hiuna looks at him dreamily as he laughter dies down to a short chuckle. She admires his bright set of teeth and Yunho suddenly felt fidgety by her staring. "What?" He asks.

She blinks a few times as if she wasn't quite sure where she was. "Ha s-sorry" She shakes her head and looks down at the bag of grapes in her hand then reaches in to grab another one. "So uhm, what's all this talk about #mysteryboy?" She asks teasingly and Yunho groans.

"Ugh not you too. It's nothing. He's just a friend"

"Wow, Yunho is friends with a celebrity? Since when" She says sarcastically and he pokes her side causing her to giggle a bit.

"I hate you"

"Hate you too"
