Even though she's sad and feels like she can't go on, she gets up every morning and paints on a smile. Unable to show how she truly feels inside, she keeps so many things to herself, it's easier to hide.

She keeps up with her routine, so no one would no the difference. When she's asked if she's alright she just nods. She fears they would judge the words that would come out. Just because she's frayed doesn't mean she isn't thankful. She's blessed more than most and that keeps her going.

She's a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for. She's taken a lot of hits through out her life and she's still standing.

Her body has scars and because of that she is self conscious. How can anyone look at her and see passed it? She doesn't find beauty in all that she is. When all you've been told your whole life was negative, a compliment is hard to take, let alone believe it.

This woman is worth more than what she's settling for and she knows it. Maybe some day, she'll figure herself out and start to live.

So hard not to turn this into a poem.
