Took me ages to actually publish this after I started it. I tend to go through phases of things I like/obsess over. Can I start by saying that - well - you've probably already noticed my fondess of fan-fictions. It might be the fact that I love the characters in them, or the fact that I love the world they're in. Or maybe the fact that I just can't come up with something that amazing on my own. ;)

Someone suggested I watch Doctor Who. At first I was a little reluctant. I had seen several episodes - years and YEARS ago. Like - 8-9 years ago. I remember the Daleks - funny thing though - I don't remember which doctor it was. I'm going to take a stab and say it was the 9th though, because I distinctly remember Rose as the companion. (that's rather funny... I remember the companion and not the Doctor. ;)

I guess It kind of fascinated me - aliens, time-lords, a sonic screwdriver... a doctor that is so kind and so brutal and so spirited, compassionate yet harsh, sarcastic yet completely serious. So I might not be making much sense right now... but bare with me. I was never 1 for reading these author's notes. 1 last thing...

THIS BOOK IS NOT GOING TO BE FILLED WITH SCIENTIFIC FACTS THAT WILL AMAZE YOU!! In fact you're lucky if the word oxygen gets put in there. I KNOW the Doctor is somewhat of a science geek/nerd who absolutely LOVES big words that I'm like: HAHHA. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS. So if you see something a little odd. Plese don't question it. If I get something wrong I'm SORRY. and please TELL me so I can fix it up! Thanks!

Many thanks for the reads! Oh and of course I own nothing of Doctor Who, the TARDIS the galatic empire... any words that don't sound particularly smart or brainy are what I come up with. And I'll try and make all the monsters/sci fi beasts myself just so I'm not stealing too much from the BBC. And can I say they're awesome?
