1. That of a Horror Story (2)
The cold gray lady harrumphs as she plucks me from the floor, as if touching me gives her the worst disease in the world. And when the giddy dizziness stops, I turn to her and almost scream. She's no longer gray, or... a lady, it seems.
She's green. Literally glowing green. I'm talking like - toxic waste green. And not just glowing but her skin almost seems translucent. I can see righ through the arms that hold me, and to the control pannel on the other side. She looks exactly like the lady at the table did this morning.
While I'm staring at her in horror, she snarls at me. The words come out slightly slurred but still legible.
"Keep yourr gazze doowwnn, stuupidd huummaan."
Right. Right. Panic attack right now. See that's the weird thing about me - I have these hyperventilating issues. Never knew where they came from. The last time I had one was when my brother Alex and I got stuck in the library. It was alright for him, but as an un-official member of the Lester household, I was scared out of my wits. And that's when I discovered that when I get in tight, scary, life-threatening situations, I have these hyperventilating episodes. And they're really weird, because I usually get some sort of vision during them.
I'm lucky gray lady... I mean... alien green lady has such a tight grip on me, because as my chest starts to heave and my vision starts to dim, I sort of slump against her white coat. My shoulder brushes her green skin, and goes right through it.

"What. Have. You. Brought." The voice so distant, yet so far away at the same time. I struggle to look at the figure in front of me through the hazy fog that happens during these... what some call blackout spells. But I recognise that voice. It's the voice from my dream. I can't shrink back any further into the alien lady so I simply stand my ground. If it's going to kill me with its probing face, it better do so fast before I die of weirdness. Seriously THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!
I can only take a guess as to the fact that the metal beasts are standing in front of me. None of this makes any sort of sense. What the heck is wrong with me? With everything? Am I truly going mad?
Some tiny spark of normality leaps into me as I recognise my father's voice. Of course he cares nothing for me, but at least now he's here it can't be that bad. "You have to forgive me. Her mother insisted on her coming. At first, I realized it would spoil the plan but... then... we need someone... human, other than me to test out the experiment, don't we?"
"We. Do. You. Have. Done. Well." The beast says. "And. Is. This. Human. Alive?"
"What? Oh. Yes. It's just one of her stupid things she does. Here." I barely register his presence beside me before I feel his hand hit the side of my cheek that mother hit before. It stings, but the mist backs off and I stand up, shaking off the drugged feeling.

"W...Where am I?" I now get a clear look at the beast in front of m. It's truly horrific. The long probing like thing on its... face... Can I even call it a face? Swings around, bleeping occasionally. "What the heck are you? And... you?"
I nudge the alien lady who hasn't stopped gripping me. I notice in a panic that there are many green aliens standing around. Most are female, and I can pick out a few men. If they even do have a gender considering they're... aliens.
And I'm here standing in front of these strange creatures.
"Silence!" The metal beast commands. I can only see 2 others standing by its side. "We. Are. The. Dalek. You. Are. Insignificant. A. Human. You. Will. Do. For. Our. Experiment."
"You're crazy!" I cry. "You can't be serious..."
Father yanks me from green lady's grip and grips my mouth so hard I think I'm going to faint from lack of oxygen. I seriously can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually glad to be beside a human again. Even if it is my father. "Be quiet! Stupid girl! Shut your mouth." He hisses in my ear. He lets my mouth go only after he must feel my knees starting to give out, and he shoves me back to green lady.
She wraps an arm around my shoulder. If she weren't a weird towering green alien I'd almost be tricked into thinking she was trying to comfort me.
"This. Is. The. Final. Stages." The metal beast talks. Did I forget to mention... when it talks it sounds like a robot... but different. Like a robot on drugs, if that makes any sense. "Prepare. The. Subject."
"I'm not a freaking subject! I'm a.." My voice is muffled as the green lady's black gloved hand gets shoved over my mouth.
"Husssssh yourrrr chatttter, huuuuman!" Her voice is so weird - husky and high-pitched.
Father's eyes gleam as he walks from the silver table in the room over to me with a giant needle. And when I say giant I mean about as big as my hand. That's giant to me. I start to scream but the hand pushes further into my mouth, muffling it.
Father grabs my right hand roughly, turning it over and stabbing the vein in my wrist. My head automatically goes back before I realize that it's going through green lady's chest and pull back just in time to see the blue liquid draining into my veins. Surprisingly, it's not the stab of the needle that hurts. It's the liquid as it races around my veins.
If I weren't in such a tight grip I would be on the floor. If a hand wasn't being shoved against my mouth I'd be screaming. It feels like I'm being consumed by fire. I barely register we're moving forwards until I look up. And then I see an identical metal beast in the centre of the grey, colour-less room. This one is different. It has no probe, and it's (I'm going to call it a skirt) skirt cone thing is larger than the others. The green lady doesn't pause as she presses my burning wrist onto the hot metal.
I really do scream this time. But as soon as the dreadful pain that races through my body comes, it goes, leaving behind a slight ache.
I can do nothing as I'm dragged back, just stand there as the metal beasts roam around what I can only assume is their sleeping leader. I wonder where I got that from.
"Why. Is. This. Not. Working?" One of them asks. "You. Said. It. Would. You. Promised."
"I... I'm sorry." Father runs his hands through his short hair. "I tried! I really did. I don't know why it doesn't work. Please. Give me another chance! Don't do this!"
"You. Have. No. Choice." I swear the metal beast actually growls. "Ex-ter-min-ate."
There's the sound of a laser-like shot - like one in star wars. Only I think these things are better shots that the storm troopers. Let's be honest. Even I could beat them.
I'm shocked. Too shocked to move. Too shocked to register that the green lady is dragging me backwards. I can't seem to move. It feels like I've been immobolized.
"What's happening to me?" I whisper. Like she cares. Like she'd honestly tell me.
"Dooonnn'tt wooorrryy." She says. Damn. I'm good. "You'll beeee fiiineee. Heeerree." She rips a strip of cloth from the table and wraps it around my arm. Then she turns my non injured hand over and pushes something onto my finger. A ring? "Thisss isss a gifft frromm sommeeonne whooo caarress abbouut youu." Her eyes lose their sympathy in a moment. "Theyy allwaayys wiiinn. Aanndd theyy willl geett yoouu toooo." She says cruelly.
"What? What the hell is going on?!" I fall backwards as she lets me go. Obviously the liquid's done more than turn my wrists to fire. The last thing I see are her eyes glowing at me. An evil smirk formed on her green alien face. And then a bright light consumes the room.
