The day you show

The one you love

What they should already know

That intimate card

That someone else wrote

That special gift

To show and gloat

Some fancy dining

One time a year

That night of passion

You hold so dear

I'm the Valentine grinch

Your mind it is yelling

But you are so wrong

It's something else I am selling

Why wait all year

For that one special day

Why not do it in January

Maybe August or May

I guess my point is this

What I'm really trying to say

Is why not make Valentines

A part of every day
