As everyone was getting ready to face a terrible battle, the Aerialbots except Alpha Bravo, Jetfire, Ballon, Barrel Roll and Powerglide began to combine. The first ones to go were Air Raid and SkyDive, they both started to transform into the legs of Superion. Their leader Silverbolt then started transforming after them into the upper body followed by Fireflight who transformed into the right arm and slingshot who transformed into the left arm. After the combination was done, the head of Superion began to appear and his optics turned on as it flashed.

"Now I think I get what you meant by catastrophic." Emily gulped nervously as she took in the size of Superion.

"By Primus… I should’ve seen this coming." Optimus muttered in shock.

"Can someone tell me what just happened? And how come these guys combined themselves to turn into a bigger and creepier robot?" Emily questioned worriedly. 

She was worried about the safety of her, Optimus and the SG Decepticons as they were ants compared to the size of the behemoth now towering over them.

"It is just as I feared. These Aerialbots are Combiners." Optimus said as Emilia looked at him in confusion. How did he know?

"How do you know?" She asked as Optimus glared at their opponent.

"Because I have faced a few back in our world." Optimus told her.

"Trust me, little Prime, you have never faced anything like me, beware my power. For I am Superion!" Superion exclaimed.

As they all heard his name, Emily could help but lightly laugh at the name as they turned to her.

"I’m sorry, did you say your name is Superion? Doesn’t that sound a bit, uh, what’s the word I’m looking for?" Emily said as she covered her mouth to hide her laughs.

"Too generic?" Emilia blankly stated.

"I was gonna say a bit pretentious but that’s one word for it. I mean look at him. He’s so big the name Superion is just to reflect his superior size. Talk about a lame name. I could’ve chosen something better." Emily taunted Superion which made him mad.

"Wanna hear what I think of it? Here!" Superion shouted.

Superion started firing lasers and missiles at the Decepticons. Megatronus ordered his troops to take cover.

"Take cover!" Megatronus ordered quickly as they all took cover as ordered. 

Emilia was able to run towards a boulder that provided a good cover. When she got there, she called for Emily and told her to run where she was so she wouldn’t get hurt. But the numerous shots from Superion made it harder for her to get cover. Optimus, who was getting fired at saw that Emily was in dire need of assistance, so he ran to where she was.

"Hang on, Emily, I’m coming!" Optimus shouted as she tried to take cover.

Emily tried to use a rock shield to protect herself but it didn’t work. Luckily Optimus came just in time and was able to grab her with his servo and get her to safety. Optimus ran to where Emilia was and dropped Emily there while taking cover too.

"Thanks, Optimus. I-I didn’t think I was gonna last another second if it weren’t for you." Emily said as she looked up to him.

"I’m glad you’re okay." Optimus said as he was just relieved that she's okay before Emilia interrupted them.

"That’s sweet. You guys are really, really cute but in case you’re not aware. We’re about to get scrapped by a giant evil Autobot!" Emilia stated as they stayed behind the boulder for cover.

"I still don’t get what that thing is and how these guys were able to combine into it." Emily said as she was still confused by the whole thing.

"Well, like red said earlier, these guys are known as Combiners." Emilia pointed out as Emily looked at her in confusion.

"Combiners?" She asked in confusion. 

Seeing that she was confused, Optimus explained to her what a Combiner is.

"Combiners are a class of warriors that can combine themselves to form a titan. A class of warriors known for their colossal and destructive size. These warriors are not meant to be taken lightly. And they’re not easy to defeat. Their size gives them enough strength to wipe out entire armies by themselves." Optimus explained but they quickly ducked for more cover as Superion didn't stop firing on them.

"Aww what’s wrong little, Autobots? Are you too terrified to come out and play? Show yourself, that way I can get to smash you all one by one. And I think I’ll start with miss-loud-blonde-mouth. I’ll show her why I’m called Superion." Superion taunted as Emilia gave her counterpart a deadpan look.

"Nice going, loudmouth. You made him angry." She deadpanned to which Emily returned.

"Hey, it’s not my fault if Bigfoot over there can't take constructive criticism. And besides, he decided to combine long before I even said anything so it's not entirely my fault." Emily countered back as she was trying to think of something to help with the battle.

"Yeah, well, now we’re done for." Emilia said but Optimus quickly realized something. 

"Not entirely. Giants are known for their arrogance. And Superion’s own arrogance shall be his downfall." Optimus said and Emily quickly came up with a plan. 

"You’re right." Emily said as Emilia just sighs.

"Please don’t fall into that false Joe thing. It’s not helping." She said as Emily turned to her with a determined look.

"Don’t you get it? By combining into this behemoth, these guys gave us a huge advantage." Emily pointed out.

"Come out, Autobots. I promise I won’t hurt you. At least not too much." Superion laughed evilly.

"Can you explain exactly how this situation gives us any advantage whatsoever?" Emilia asked as she saw that her counterpart seemed to be planning something.

"It’s simple. Since Superion’s size surpasses us, technically speaking it would take too long to put a dent on him because of it. Not to mention his monstrous size and his firepower." Emily explained as Emilia just rolled her eyes.

"Great, so basically you’re saying that we’re done for." She deadpan but Emily shook her head.

"No, what I'm saying is that since his size makes slower than us. We can use it to our advantage. The only way to do this is to work together." Emily said as Emilia looked at her. Optimus has been listening and asked if she was sure.

"Are you sure of what you’re saying?" He asked as Emily looked up to him.

"I wish there was another way but given the current situation, we have no other choice. We can only make it out alive by working together." Emily said as Optimus slowly agreed.

"Hmm, very well." Optimus nodded as Emilia looked at them.

"You got a plan?" She asked as Emily smirked.

"Just one. We all have to do what we do best and give it our all." She simply said.

"Do what we do best. Not bad thinking." Emilia said in an impressed tone.

Emilia starts using her comm-link to contact her friends and tell them what they must do in order to defeat Superion.

"Megatronus, do you hear me?" Emilia said as Megatronus answered.

"I do. What is it?" He asked as he and the others were hiding.

"We just came up with a plan." She said as Megatronus was confused.

"And what plan may that be?" He asked curiously.

"If it involves retreating, then I’d say it’s a good idea." Starscream said as Breakdown gave him a look.

"Shut up, Scream. Don’t say the R word. You know I hate that word." Breakdown said as Starscream gave him an annoyed look.

"For once, could you let go of your barbaric fighting desire and think with your head?!" Starscream questioned in annoyance.

"I’m thinking I should smash you with my hammer. How about that?" Breakdown glared at him in annoyance.

"Enough, you two. This is no time for your ridiculous bickering." Megatronus stopped them from fighting.

"He’s right, you guys. We have to stick together if we wanna get out in one piece." Emilia said.

"So what’s your plan?" Megatronus asked her.

"Simple, we all do what we do best." Emilia simply said which confused them.

"Do what we do best? What do you think she means by that?" Breakdowns asked as Starscream was confused by it too.

"I doubt by explaining it to you you’ll be able to understand." Starscream said as Breakdown gave him an annoyed look.

"Hey, watch it!" He warned him but Emilia stopped them from fighting.

"Guys, listen. This Emily girl just gave me an idea. Since Superion is bigger than us, it makes him powerful but his titanic size is also a fatal weakness. Since we’re small and he’s big,  We have the advantage. His big size makes him super slow and he knows it. That’s why he’s using his massive firepower against us. To avoid us to try and defeat him with our speed. We’ll know that we know, our best choice to win is for all of us to do what we do best. You along with Starscream and Soundwave will have to fly around him as a distraction. Meanwhile Airachnid will sprain a trap with her webs. Breakdown will distract him from the ground by driving in circles around him." Emilia explained to them while giving out their roles for the plan but Megatronus is still skeptical about their other dimensional visitors.

"Are you sure of what you're saying? Can we really trust these strangers?" Megatronus questioned in a skeptical tone.

When Emilia was asked by Megatronus if Emily and Optimus could be trusted, she started to look at the both of them. She saw how Optimus was protecting Emily even if it meant risking his own life and that’s when she knew that even though they don’t know much about them. There was something to lead her to believe that they could be trusted. True enough she had doubts but she knew she had to put them all aside for the greater.

"Yes, I believe we can." Emilia said as Megatronus reluctantly agreed.

"Very well." He said.

"Be careful, everyone. And good luck." Emilia said as she was worried for their safety before they hung up.

After being wished good luck, Megatronus began to make sure his troops understood what they all had to do.

"Alright, everyone. You all know what has to be done. Let’s give it all our best. And with any luck, this battle will be over." Megatronus said as they're still skeptical about the plan.

"Are you sure it’s a good plan, sir?" Starscream asked as Megatronus turned to him.

"It’s our best and last hope. We better make it count." Megatronus said as the others joined in.

"Yeah, let’s do it." Breakdown grinned.

"We’re on it." Airachnid smirked as she and Breakdown fist bumped.

"If it means getting out without ending up in the scrapyard, then let us take it to the skies." Starscream smirked in agreement.

Soundwave looked at Megatronus and nodded as Megatronus did too.

"All right then. Decepticons! Take to the skies!" Megatronus shouted.

As Megatronus gave his friend the courage to go into battle, he along with Starscream and Soundwave transformed into their vehicle mode and took to the skies. Breakdown transformed into his vehicle mode while Airachnid started to activate her spider legs on her back to be able to climb the cliff and spray her web fluids for the trap.

"WOOHOO!!! HERE WE GO!!!" Breakdown shouted in glee.

"You’re always so dramatic." Airachnid couldn't help the fond chuckle to escape.

Superion, who saw that the Decepticons were up to something, started to feel curious about what was going on.

"What are you guys doing? If you think you can beat me, then you have another thing coming. Because I’m going to squash you all like a bunch of Scraplets." Superion arrogantly mocked as Breakdown started to drive circles below him.

When Superion was about to step into Breakdown, he suffered an aerial attack at the hands of Megatronus, Starscream and Soundwave. He got caught by surprise by those three as they started to fly around him like Insecticons.

"Hey, that hurts! Ah, stop doing that! Now I’m really mad!" Superion snarled in annoyance.

"Nice work, guys. Keep at it, but don’t get hit." Emilia said as she talked to the team through their comlinks.

"Easier said than done. This behemoth isn’t making it any easier on us." Starscream replied.

"Relax, Scream, the guy is slow. You don’t need to get worried about getting hit. Just keep distracting him from the air." Emilia told him in a reassuring tone.

"Hey, Emilia? You think I could bash his legs a bit?" Breakdown asked her.

"Stick to the plan, Breakdown. Just try and make him lose his balance. If we all stick to our part of the plan, then we will bring him down for sure." Emilia said as Breakdown would have pouted if he was in robot mode.

"Okay, okay, this is so boring." Breakdown said through the comlinks as Emilia put it on standby as Emily watched the battle.

"What do we do?" She asked her counterpart as Emilia winced.

"I haven’t thought of it yet." Emilia said as she tried to come up with a plan.

"Hmm. I know. We could make the ground shake. That way when Superion starts to lose his balance." Emily suggested as Emilia smirked.

"He’ll fall flat as a bug." She said as Emily agreed.

"Yeah, just one thing. We’ll both have to do it while being out in the open." Emily said as she looked at the battle that was going on.

"And shaking the ground hard enough to make him fall might take long. And if the others don’t maintain him occupied long enough, we won’t make it out." Emilia pointed out.

Optimus, who has been silent while observing the battle, suggested.

"I believe I can help you out." Optimus said as the two girls looked up at him while Emilia raised an eyebrow.

"How will you do that, big guy?" She asked in confusion.

Instead of answering Emilia’s question, Optimus takes out his gun and shoots without even looking. The shot had hit Superion, straight on the joint of his right knee.

"Oww! Scrap! That hurts! You’re gonna pay for this, you lousy Decepticons!" Superion yelled in pain as he growled at the enemies.

"Wow, no comments there." Emilia whistled in astonishment as Emily got ready.

"Are you coming or not?" She asked as Emilia nodded.

"Right behind you." She said as Optimus looked at them, especially at Emily.

"Be careful, Emily." He said worriedly as she sent him a small smile to reassure him.

"I will." She smiled up at him before both her and Emilia started to run a bit close to where Superion was.

Luckily for now he didn’t see them since he was busy dealing with Megatronus, Starscream and Soundwave in the air and Breakdown on the ground driving in circles around his legs.

"You guys are really starting to get on my circuits! You will all soon end up in a scrapyard even if it’s the last thing I do!" Superion yelled in annoyance.

The other members of the Aerialbots were watching their combined friends fighting and they felt like joining into the fun.

"Well, this looks like fun. What do you say we join in, you guys?" Powerglide asked with a grin.

"Sounds like fun." Ballon cackled.

The others were getting ready to join Superion in battle but suddenly Jetfire’s comm-link started ringing. Jetfire answered to see who it was and he wasn't surprised that it was his superior officer.

"Jetfire here." Jetfire said as he answered.

"Jetfire, listen to me carefully. I want you and your friends to retreat and join me and Cliffjumper at these coordinates." Arcee told him as he received the coordinates where Arcee wanted him and the others to join her and Cliffjumper.

"You want us to retire? Are you sure?" Jetfire questioned as he glanced at the team.

"Yes I’m sure. And you should know better than to question your superior officer’s authority. Any act of treason will be punished with death. Am I understood?" Arcee warned him and that made him a little nervous but complied.

"Yes, ma’am. I understand perfectly. We’ll be joining in a few kliks." Jetfire said as he turned off the comlink.

He turned to go talk with the other members of the Aerialbots but he knew they're not gonna be happy about the orders.

"Listen up, guys. We’ve just received orders to retire." Jetfire said and that got every Aerialbots to look at him in disbelief and anger.

"What?" Barrel Roll questioned in confusion and anger.

"You mean as in retreat? Did you fry a neural circuit or something?!" Ballon questioned him in anger.

"There’s no way we can retire now and let Superion have all the fun!" Powerglide sneered but Jetfire stood his ground.

"We have our orders. And I suggest you move out before I arrest you for insubordination." He said sternly with a glare.

Jetfire then transformed and started flying to where Arcee and Cliffjumper were waiting for them.

"Who does that guy think he is, acting all bossy?" Powerglide scoffed.

"Nevermind that, you scraphead! What gets me is that Superion is getting all the fun while we’re being benched!" Barrel Roll whined.

"And here I wanted to beat down some Cons so badly." Ballon growled.

"Let’s go before we get in trouble." Powerglide just gave in as he knew they'll get in trouble if they don't follow orders.

The three transformed and caught up with Jetfire.

As the battle kept going, Arcee took this chance of hiding to study her enemy, old and new ones. She was curious to see how the new allies of the Decepticons fought. Especially the red and blue one. His battle was rather amazing, he fought like a true elite warrior and she has only seen it twice in her life. The first time was with the Decepticons Leader, Megatronus Prime, and the other one is someone reserved yet a true elite warrior.

"The red one is a good fighter." Arcee commented.

"You’re telling me. I wish I could fight him now and see how good of a warrior he is." Cliffjumper grinned malevolently.

"Not yet, we still have to learn about him. And I have a feeling that whatever we will learn, it will prove beneficial to our cause. Perhaps it would even bring some new knowledge." Arcee told him which only made Cliffjumper roll his optics.

"Yeah right." He said as they both looked up at the sound of jet engines roaring.

Jetfire and the other members of the Aerialbots had finally joined Arcee and Cliffjumper before they transformed and made a swift landing.

"Aerialbots reporting in." Jetfire said as he saluted.

"Excellent, Jetfire, I’m glad to see that some of you are willing to follow protocol. Unlike your foolish leader who decided to undermine my authority." Arcee smirked as Ballon silently scoffed.

"Pfft. Yeah right, big authority. In her dreams." Ballon whispered with a small laugh.

But Arcee heard what Ballon said and she didn’t like his comment very much. To make it clear what could happen if he questions authority again. She ran toward him so fast that he didn’t even see her coming as she had her arm blade aim at his neck.

"Question my authority one more time and I will rid you of all your Energon. Is that clear?" Arcee hissed as Ballon gulped and nodded frantically.

"Yes, sir, I mean, ma’am! Energon crystal clear, ma’am!" Ballon complied fearfully.

"Very well." Arcee smirked and pulled her blade away as Ballon silently sighed in relief.

"Now that this is out of the way. What should we do ma’am? Do we have a plan?" Jetfire questioned as Arcee nodded.

"Indeed there is a plan. We stay here and watch how things go." Arcee said as she crossed her arms.

"Can’t we at least bomb them just once?" Ballon asked and only got a death glare from Arcee.

It was her way of telling him that one more act of questioning and he’ll be killed right on the spot.
