Even faster than before, the next day, the day of her doom, had arrived.

Nari still had her conversation last night with Jungkook on her mind. She was still asking herself what he meant to say before the phone call was interrupted. She hadn't told anyone yet, not even Eun.

Hyuk finally came to school after one day of absence. He had showed up late to school, but the important thing is that he is back. The girls engulfed him in a warm group hug before sitting down for lunch.

Today was pasta Wednesday, Nari loved pastas so this was by far her favorite.

"How's everything?" Eun asked him as she took a bit of her pasta.

The boy huffed as he rolled his eyes, "Boring."

Nari swallowed the coldness of the water, "What did you do?"

"Just toured around the building, which I have seen for the last ten years thank you very much." he exclaimed.

Both girls chuckled as they kept eating their food in peace. They thought Hyuk had ended his complains but he kept going.

"I just want to be a doctor but he just keeps pressuring me to be the CEO of his recording company," he chewed vigorously on his food, "everyday it's the same thing and I'm tired of it!"

Eun looked at him with the softest expression, Nari noticed, "Have you talked to him?"

She heard him sigh before putting his hands on his face, "I've tried but he always tells me to keep the legacy, his legacy."

"But if you don't like it then you should try getting his attention and telling him about it." Nari said and they both turned to her.

"I have tried everything and it doesn't work." he said as calmly as he could.

Eun tried to stop the awkward silence, "So, Nari I'm sorry you have to tutor Jungkook."

"Me too." Nari responded rapidly.

"Wait but he said for extra credit?" the boy asked.

"Yes and, even better," she replied sarcastically, "Mr. Hee said to tutor him until senior year."

"If you need us to be at the tutoring sessions we'll be there, alright?" Hyuk put his hand on hers as a sign of support.

She nodded and smiled at both of her friends, "Thank you guys."

Nari, after a long silence, averted her eyes from her friends to the door as she saw it open itself.

Bangtan strolled in with such determination that some girls were swooning over them. Imagine if they knew who they really were when the night began.

The seven boys were about to sit on their traditional table in the center of the lunchroom. Nari kept her eyes on them for an unknown reason, it's as if she was entranced in some unique way.

Abruptly, she saw that Namjoon whispered something to Jungkook as he looked at the table she was seated with her friends.

What the-

They looked ethereal as they walked through the lunchroom. They kept walking until they reached her table, sitting down next to them without saying hello.

Her peers stared at them with hate, sympathy, anger and sorrow. She hated that.

Jungkook sat next to her as he ate with so much calmness. She scowled at him, she was about to ask what they were doing here but Eun beat her to it.

"Hi, hello um–what are you guys doing?" she asked as she tried to keep her composure.

Hoseok chuckled, "What does it look like? Eating." he answered coldly.

"Well you can't sit with us, so leave." Nari decided to answer for her best friends earning glares from bangtan and scared glances from her friends.

Jimin laughed as he stabbed his fork on his pasta, "Why are you like this? There's no reason for you to hate us, or is there?" he cocked his eyebrow at her.

Her heart fastened as he taunted her. He seemed to be doing this on purpose like yesterday.

"Not at all." she said as she looked away and continued stirring her cold pasta.

She tried to hold in her anger but for the sake of not making more drama, she actually held it in.

Taehyung cleared his throat, "So, Eun, how are you?"

The girl beside her raised her eyebrows and slightly looked at Nari for help, "Fine." she answered coldly.

The silence was long and both groups looked at each other in advance to who was going to speak first. The tension could be sensed in a snap.

Namjoon rapidly looked at Hyuk, "Long time no see."

Huh?

"Right." her best friend answered without looking at him.

"You remember when we used to be neighbors?" Namjoon asked, his full attention on Hyuk.

Hyuk just nodded before taking a big piece of his pasta and gulping.

"We miss you, man." Yoongi finally spoke.

Nari looked at Eun and she mouthed 'I'll explain later.'

Hyuk passed his hand through his dark hair in frustration, "Well I don't." he stood up and stormed out of the lunch room.

She heard Eun scoff before replying, "You guys didn't have to bring that up. You know how sensitive he is about that."

Eun stormed off behind Hyuk, leaving Nari alone with them.

She was about to stand up, getting her belongings before a hand stopped her, pulling her to sit back down.

"You are staying here. We need to talk to you." Jungkook replied with a serious expression.

The girl shook her head, "I'm leaving, my friends need me." she stood up again but he pulled her back.

"No. You are staying, Yun Nari."

"No." she replied.

"Yes." he retorted.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"No."

"Yes–wait, really!?" she answered as she tilted her head back in frustration.

The seven boys chuckled, meanwhile the girl sat with her hands crossed over her chest. Nari thought of leaving in that precise moment, but she didn't. Something inside her told her to stay.

"Go on, boss." Jungkook motioned to Namjoon, right he's their leader.

If they didn't want anyone to know about their little secret then why must they use terms like this inside the school perimeter?

"You got a call from Jungkook last night, right?" their leader asked as he sipped on his water.

"Yes." she answered looking at him weirdly.

Namjoon sighed and put his cup on the table, "Forget that call ever happened."

He motioned the boys to get up and they all did, all of them except Jungkook. His hand was still around her wrist so she took it out of his grip.

She turned to him, "What do they mean by that?"

The boy averted his eyes from her and started standing up, "I'll text you the address to my house."

"What? Jungk—wait!" she exclaimed as he jogged out of the lunch room, leaving her standing up in confusion with strange stares from her peers.

The bell rang and she was still shocked. She couldn't move. So maybe she should've trusted that drunk person after all?

Maybe.

                              -

She stared at the screen as she took a bus to Jungkook's house. The screen made her eyes squint. The light was too bright for her, she'd have to adjust the brightness soon.

They had both agreed to tutor on mondays and wednesdays. Mostly because on those days he didn't have to do any of his dirty work.

The bus stopped and she took this as her sign to step off. She noticed her surroundings as she stood on the sidewalk. These houses were big, mansions to be exact. Each one had two or three floors.

Searching for the text Jungkook sent her, she typed fast.

      To: Jeon Jungkook
What is the number of your house again?

Nari tapped her feet to the beat of the song she was listening to. Some random songs came on her Spotify most of the time.

Her phone rang signaling that Jungkook had replied.

      From: Jeon Jungkook
      23. I'll be at the door.

As soon as he said that she set off to find house number 23.

17.

She walked to the other house.

19.

She continued walking.

23.

"Wow." the house had a fountain at the front with a statue of a horse at the entrance. It had three levels and the walls were made of a skin colored marble.

She texted Jungkook as she stayed on the balcony.

     To: Jeon Jungkook
I'm here.

The red door suddenly opened and Jungkook waved her over. He looked so different without the school uniform. He wore a black stussy sweatshirt and grey baggy pants with his hair fixed to one side.

"Stop staring at me and come inside." he chuckled before getting inside.

The girl looked down in embarrassment and followed him.

The house was even prettier on the inside. A big spiral staircase took over the main entrance that was bright because of a big crystal window that started on the wall and ended on the floor.

She followed Jungkook to his room, this house was really big.

They stopped walking until they reached a blue door. He opened the door and Nari could see the neatly organized room. It was beautiful, it had every single expensive item she could think of.

He sat down on the bed and asked her to join in.

She sat and replied, "I never thought you'd be this organized."

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me." he said with a straight face that started scaring her.

She just nodded and opened her backpack, taking out all her things. He was still looking at her. Nari, trying to keep herself from getting flustered, took out everything and looked at him, he was smiling.

"What?" She asked as she kept turning the pages.

He shuffled closer until their knees were touching.

She looked at him and he was still smiling, he shook his head adorably, "Nothing, lets begin."

And so they did.

-

It had been a two hour session. It was already 8 o'clock when Jungkook was already tired.

"Let's stop for a second, do you want anything to drink?" he asked as he stood up, helping her pick up her supplies.

He's being nice today because his parents must be here, she told herself.

"No. Thank you." she replied as she closed her bag.

The boy nodded and he lay down on his bed. This took Nari by surprise, she jumped.

Jungkook chuckled but proceeded to put his hands below his face. He was looking at her again with those eyes—he had to stop, for her sake.

She turned her back to him. There was no way that she would be falling into his trap, no way.

"Why did you rob Suk's store?" she asked in a small voice, she was still sitting down on the bed while he was still resting on his bed.

"So you saw the news?" he asked.

"Yes, and he's a friend of mine," she turned to him and started venting, "you robbed a middle aged man, traumatized him and yet you are still here without any charges."

Jungkook shot up with a calm expression and kept shuffling closer to her, until their knees touched once more.

"When it comes to business, we don't care for any of that. Business is still business." he said as he placed a strand of her hair on her ear.

She didn't do anything, "Forget about business, Jungkook, you–" she stopped as she saw him smile big before chuckling.

"What is it this time?" she asked, rolling her eyes.

He looked down with red cheeks before looking up, "That's the first time I've heard you say my name."

He plopped back down on the bed before closing his eyes and smiling in content. Nari just looked at him astonished.

It was indeed the first time she called him by his name, and it was magical.

The butterflies in her stomach couldn't stop even though she prayed they would. Even if she tried to stop all of those feelings, there was no point of doing so; she was already in dangerous waters.
