FORTY-ONE

Three hours; that's how long the ride from Busan to Incheon is by train. Jungkook placed his headphones on his ear and sighed.

    "Are we there yet?" Jimin asked for the billionth time as he continued playing with his phone.

    "If you say it one more time–" Jungkook responded. He was about to explode.

    "I said," Jimin chuckled, "Jungkookie, are we there yet?" he rested his head on his shoulder playfully.

   Jungkook saw Nari half smile from the seats in front of them. Taehyung had fallen asleep from beside her. Meanwhile Eun was wide awake as she played a game on her phone from beside Jimin.

   Jimin always tried to lift up the mood, even if he was also down. This time he had  succeeded.

   "No, hyung." he said.

"We'll be there in a few minutes, Jiminie." Nari told him.

Oh right, he had forgotten that Jimin and Nari had been best friends during most of their childhood.

Such a small world.

Jin has already fallen asleep beside Nari and they were the only ones awake. We as in Jimin, Nari and Jungkook.

Yes, the rest were sleeping. They had sat beside them and some were even snoring.

"How are you dealing with all of this?" Jimin asked Nari who had her gaze focused at the white wall.

Nari sighed, "I'm still worried and scared for them, I just try to not show it." she let out.

"Everything will be okay, Nari." Jimin respondes as he patted his hand on her knee.

She nodded before turning to Jungkook, "You should sleep for a few minutes, babe."

He just smiled to her, "You should be sleeping a little bit," he told her as he tried to get comfortable, " you seem more tired."

Nari shook her head but Jimin nudged him.

He switched seats with Nari in a heartbeat so that she could get comfortable with her boyfriend.

As soon as Jimin sat on what used to be Nari's spot, Taehyung hugged him.

That was usual of Tae. Whenever he slept, he had to have a pillow or someone to cuddle to.

"Eun, please." He motioned to Eun so she could change seats with her.

The girl nodded as she chuckled and changed with him.

Now Jimin had sat beside Nari who was falling asleep beside Jungkook.

Jungkook placed my hand on her cheek and softly placed her head on his shoulder.

"Sleep," the boy kissed her forehead, "I'll wake you up when we get there."

She interlaced her fingers with his and sighed before closing her eyes.

Her mouth was shaped in a cute pout and Jungkook smiled. How can someone become even more beautiful while sleeping?

He doesn't know but Nari had caused some unknown feelings to bloom. He now knew that it was love, she showed him and is still showing him what love is.

He is still venturing into the marvelous maze of falling in love with the help of Nari, and he doesn't want to let go of her hand. He wants to continue on discovering these feelings with her by his side.

He couldn't have asked for a better person to guide him through this new journey.

   Jungkook had never visited Incheon. This was his first time. He had never gotten out of Busan.

    "I never thought that I would be back home." Nari said as she sat beside Taehyung who was now tracking the phone once more.

    We had agreed to get this all over with and find her family the next day.

   When we arrived everyone had went to sleep, so the day was not proactive at all.

    "Look," Tae said to Nari who had all her attention on the laptop, "it's a few miles from here."

    Namjoon spoke, "Where exactly?" he stood up and walked to the edge of the bed.

   "In some apartments." Taehyung said as he furrowed his eyebrows.

   "Excuse me?" Namjoon asked as he glanced at the map on the laptop.

   Taehyung sighed, "He's hiding in an apartment complex," he turned to Nari, "have you been there?" he asked.

    Nari shook her head.

    "Why would be hide in some apartments?" Yoongi asked.

    "We should be careful then, we don't know what he's got on his mind." Jungkook said.

    "Right," Namjoon nodded, "okay so for this, all of us have to go inside." he mentioned.

    Taehyung widened his eyes, "But the girls–"

    "Will stay with Yugyeom safely inside his car." Namjoon finished for Tae.

    Nari rapidly stood up, "Not me."

    Jungkook's heart stopped, sure she had mentioned that she would deal with Zik. The boy thought she was joking in the heat of the moment.

    But by the determined look on her face he had concluded that no; she was not joking at all.

    "Nari–" Hoseok began speaking but was interrupted by her calm voice.

"I'm going to get my family out of there and end him," she said determined, "so please let me go with you."

Namjoon sighed as he placed a hand on top of his nose, "We understand, but this is too dangerous for you."

"Please." suddenly a tear left her eye as it trailed down her fragile cheek.

"Let her go in with us." he let out.

He believed in her.

"Jungkook, are you sure?" Jimin asked him.

The boy nodded, "I'll be by her side, she won't get hurt."

Everyone stayed silent before Namjoon's voice was heard.

"Alright, but that means that one of us has to go with the girls." he stated.

"I can stay with them, just in case anything happens." Taehyung said.

The leader nodded, "Then you'll guard outside the car with one of Yugyeom's people so that no one gets in."

Taehyung nodded.

"The girls will receive guns for self defense if anyone gets in." Namjoon continued.

"Please don't get hurt, as I said before," Namjoon sighed, "I don't want to lose any of my family tonight."

And once again, Jungkook had tried to repeat the same words over and over.

We will be fine...

No one will get hurt.

Nari won't get hurt.

But something inside him made him ask himself some questions that he never thought of asking himself.

Will we really be fine?

Will someone really not get hurt?

Will Nari be okay?

Will we save her family?

He prayed so that everything would be fine but he still felt that same uneasy feeling.

Something was really going to happen. Something bad was about to happen, that something could change their lives forever, and none of them were ready for what was in store for them.

So yeah, next week's chapter will have loads of drama and action.
