   THIRTY-SIX

The startling sound of his phone's alarm woke him up. His eyes widened in shock, the alarm was so loud. He held his hand out to the night table and tapped the screen.

The hand that grasped lightly his waist had trailed up to his cheek. Small strokes were left on his rose tinted cheeks.

They had fallen asleep while watching variety shows.

"You don't know how many months I've been waiting for the day that I wake up with you," his voice was light and soft, as he responded to the person "in my arms, looking as beautiful as ever."

It was true. Ever since he had kissed her, he had dreamed to have her close to him. He had dreamed to see her wake up next to him.

She turned to him and kissed his lips, "Same here," Nari strokes lightly Jungkook's cheek with a small smile graving her features, "it feels like a dream."

He held her closer to his body, her head on his chest. His heart thumped rapidly against his chest as he felt her breath.

Can they just stay like this forever?

That's when Jungkook has remembered the meeting.

"The meeting!" he exclaimed. Rapidly, he glanced at his phone and saw the time; 7:09 PM.

They were late, and Namjoon did not like it when people were late. In other words, they were in big trouble.

Both teens got up and ran to the door, not before taking their room key with them.

"I thought you had the alarm for six!" Nari scolded him as they ran to the third level.

Jungkook chuckled, "I did! You were the one that woke up before me!" he joked.

"I didn't hear no alarm at six!" she told him as they jogged up the stairs.

Jungkook stopped, which made him feel her chest collide against his back.

Slowly, he turned to her, "Maybe," he tugged her closer to him by her waist, "I just wanted to spend some alone time with you." he mumbled to her as he pecked her lips.

He felt her smile against his lips and so did he.

"First it's Taehyung and Eun, now it's you guys?" Yoongi's voice startled them both.

He stood at the top of the stairs with a scowl on his face, but you could see a hint of a smile that crept up his features.

   "Tae and Eun?" Nari asked.

Yoongi laughed at her reaction and motioned for them to head on upstairs, "You'll know later, now come on," they caught up to him and began their way to the room, "Joon doesn't like to wait too long."

They followed Yoongi inside the room and found everyone on the bed. Some were standing up, like Yugyeom and one of his men. Others were sitting on the beds.

"What took you guys so long?" Hoseok asked.

Nari sighed, she looked down, "We overslept."

    God, she's so beautiful .

    "Cute." Yugyeom spoke.

Namjoon smiled, "Well, let's start this meeting."

Yugyeom motioned his men to stand guard on the halls, just in case.

Taehyung took out his laptop and started tapping away. He had his focused expression on, he looked so funny. Jungkook stifled a laugh.

"Oh don't start." Taehyung mumbled as he looked at the computer, somehow Jungkook knew he was speaking to him.

"I'm sorry, hyung," he chuckled, "you just look funny when you are focused." he responded.

Taehyung scowled at him before typing faster.

After a few minutes, he began speaking.

"Okay, so I've just traced the original location of the phone," he licked his lips, "meaning, the owner of the phone."

Taehyung continued, "It traced this location," he turned the computer to the others, "apparently, he's still in Busan. Zik could still be here, according to what we found."

    He could still be here.

    They could still be here.

    So they haven't escaped.

"Maybe he just wants us to look for him, that's why he hasn't left." Jimin said as he munched on a pack of skittles.

Eun furrowed her eyebrows, "If he wants us to look for him, then he might have something under wraps."

   Everyone nodded.

"Here's what we'll do; we'll just wait a few days, see if he really leaves when he realizes that we aren't looking for him, then we'll get him." Namjoon answered.

"What do we do in the mean time?" Nari asked, leaning against Jungkook's chest.

Her back was against his once more.

"We help you find Jay." Hyuk told her.

Jungkook instantly held her had tightly as he stroked her fingers. He will always be there for her, he had promised himself to be there.

He had promised himself not to leave her like her father had done in the past.

"Give me your phone, Nari." Taehyung held out his hand to her.

   "Why?" she asked.

"So we could locate the calls from your father." he had taken it from her hands and began his work.

Silence filled the gloomy motel room. Anticipation crept up Jungkook's body.

   What if Jay had left?

What if he was still here?

"Oh, no." Namjoon said as he read the computer from beside Taehyung.

Nari had sat up from Jungkook's chest. Her warmth had left his body.

"What's wrong?" she asked the boys.

Hye stood beside the boys and widened her eyes, "The calls," she stuttered, "they traced back to the same location from the other phone."

"He could be working for him?" Nari exclaimed. Jungkook could see the fear and anger in her eyes.

Yugyeom sighed, "That or, he might've been taken hostage."

Nari stood up from the bed rapidly and paced around the room, "So, you're telling me, that my father might be working for the Dragons," she asked angrily, "and that he also could've been taken hostage?" she finished.

"Nari—" Hyuk began speaking but Nari had gotten out of the room.

   Jungkook sighed, "I'll be back."

He ran as he followed her. His steps faltered but he kept running to her.

"Nari!" he shouted as she kept running until she stopped at the pool.

The blue light of the night sky illuminated her face. He could see the tears running through her features.

No words were needed, he just hugged her. That was all that she needed.

He held her close to him as he whispered comforting words to her. Her sobs rang through the space.

His beautiful flower that he held in his arms on a sky filled with constellations was fragile. The flower was broken in sadness; burning with rage, and Jungkook was willing to fix her petals one by one.
