Chapter 25
Jordan's Pov
We go to a private lounging area. "Take a seat, make yourself at home." Andor says.
I sit down. Biting my lip in nervousness, I wait for Andor to come back. The lounge looks very nice. It has a calming atmosphere to it naturally. If this wasn't the situation, I would be more comfortable here.
Andor comes back and he has a bag of chips in his left hand and a box of Apple Juice in his right hand. He hands me the Apple Juice and I set it on the table in front of me.
"I know nothing I can say or do is gonna make you stay so I'm not even gonna try." I say helplessly.
"Jordan I-" Andor's voice cracks. "Its not your fault."
"Why? Why do you need to leave. Leaving Dagrun and leave me?" I take a swig of apple juice to try to keep down my tears.
"I can't answer that. Not here, not now." Andor too is on the verge of tears.
"Jordan I'm only gonna ask one thing of you, even though that's one to many. Please keep Justice, Troye, and Maddi safe. If something happened to any of them while I was away i-" Andor's voice gives out again. He hides his head in his hands.
"Andor its time to go." Justice says from behind us.
Andor and I exchange glances before walking with Justice to the half existing church.
To my surprise the place is packed full if people.
All the color drains from Andor as we walk in. He takes hold of my hand.
Tom and Troye saved us seats in the front.
*Andor's Pov*
I feel as if everyone's watching me. Watching every move I make.
Terryn gives me a sad smile before taking.
"Helgrind wasn't only my business partner but my friend."
"Its important everyone in here must realize people make mistakes. Big and small, what happened with Andor was Helgrind's big mistake." Terryn's voice cracks. Tears fill my eyes as well.
"Andor would y-you like to say a few words?" Terryn says; I sigh.
I get up and take the mic from Terryn.
"My dad h-he did some pretty terrible things not just to me, but to e-"
Jordan's Pov
Andor's voice breaks and he sobs. I want to run up to him, hug him anything to make him stop. I know he'd disapprove.
"But to everybody. I would've never wished the death he recieved on him. I remember one night in the Inertia. After my wings had been cl-clipped he came in my cell. H-he hugged me and kissed my forehead. Helgrind let Mianite corrupt him. He loved this place more than anything, even though it never seemed like it. He wasn't only my dad but my best friend. And I want to take the time now to say-" Andor sniffles then lets out a little sob.
"I'm so sorry. For everything that happened because of my rebellious behavior. Now I'm sure Maddi ran music and has something planned so I'm gonna...." Andor just nods before running back to his seat next to me.
I wrap my arms around him and he sobs into my chest.
"Its okay Andor!" A female voice yells from the back.
"We forgive you." Another says and the whole church begins to applaud.
"T-t-thank you." Andor sobs. "He says thank you!" I say knowing no one was able to hear him.
As the applause dies down the paino picks up.
"Everything's easy, easier said than done."
Andor's head shoots up as Elle sings. He starts shaking his head and trembling.
I place my hand on his thigh to try and calm him down. I fail.
"Pulling a triggers different than holding guns.
Everyone's pretty, hiding an ugly truth, deception is all around watch it, Use caution now.
But you're human right, and temptations caught your eyes."
Elle's voice sends chills up your spine. Andor looks at me with big tear filled eyes.
"That was addressed to you." He whispers and I feel my heart drop.
How many times have I forgiven you! Andor's shouts echo in my head.
The temptations were Tom. My heart begins to race. Then Elle drops the famous line, everyone but Andor and I joining her.
We are like dominoes
Do you feel quilty, what are your prospects now!
Are you even willing to try and figure out, what you don't know yet! Tell me what life's about.
"For all the times I wanted to kill myself but didn't because I knew it'd kill you." Andor whispers then places his hand on top of mine.
Perfection does not exist, look at the distortion!
But we're human right, temptations caught our eyes!
The holy water is on fire like your soul! We are like dominoes.
A choir picks up behind Elle singing in a ghostly like manner (bold=choir)
Dominoes o-oo-hh dominoes o-oo-hh
Dominoes dominoes! Dominoes
We fall like dominoes!
Dominoes o-oo-hh dominoes o-oo-hh
We're human right! And temptations caught our eyes!
The holy water is on fire like your soul! We are like dominoes! Mhh
We fall like dominoes! Yee-aa-h
Holy water is on fire like your soul. We fall like dominoes.
We're just like dominoes,
Andor picks in on the last big punch line.
We all fall.
I kiss Andor. I kiss him as if this is the last time we will ever see each other again- it just might. He kisses back immediately. It's not a lustfull kiss at all. It's peaceful and loving. It reminds me of a nice summer day, perfect.
I put my hand on Andor's neck and wrap the other around his waist. He wraps his arms around me. I feel salty tears run into my mouth, I open my eyes to see Andor crying, I am as well. My eyes close again.
We don't pull away till we need air.
When we do pull apart, I smile at Andor and he smiles back. We both have tears running down our faces. Lots emotions swarm my brain, yet none are negative.
"I will see you again, Sparklez." Andor says and walks out. I stare at him until the doors shut away any image of him. Everyone gets up to leave shortly after. They take away Helgrind's body. I am left alone. And I will be until I see Andor again.
