New Friends Chpt. 3

I was greeted by loud and cheerful 'hi's as I walked into my favorite bar. I walked over to the bar counter and ordered a mug of beer. I waited for the bartender to bring my drink, looking around the happy customers and waitresses weaving through the people and tables.
It was pretty small bar that was made out of wood, letting in small strokes of sun shine through the narrow spaces between the wood.
The bartender gave me my mug and I gave him a twenty. I walked over to my favorite table, which was always empty, since it was tucked in a corner by the door, where the sun can't reach to.
With a sigh of relief, I sat down on the wooden bench, extended my legs on it, and leaned against the wall and began to enjoy my drink. A nice way to spend my afternoon.
A few minutes later, two guys walked in; they were guys I never saw before. It was really unusual for new people to come in since it was a bar that was difficult to find and all the people here are people I recognize since they come here so many times.
I wonder what they're doing here...
I continued to nonchalantly drink my beer. Then I felt the table creaking with weight next to me.
My eyes widened with surprise; I looked up and saw that I had company: those two guys.
"Um, hi?" I said, bringing my beer down to my lap.
"Hey," said a guy with a sly look on his face and brown, kind of curly hair. "Is it okay if we sit here?"
I shrugged. "Don't you thing it's a bit too late?"
He let out a laugh. "Good one." He took a gulp of his drink. "Wow, this is pretty good beer."
"The best," I told him, even though this was the only type beer I had ever drunken in my life. "I never saw you two here before. How did you find this place?"
"Uh, we just adventured..." The blond guy turned to look at the brunette guy. "How did we find this place?"
"We just stumbled upon it, that's all," he told him back.
"Hmmm, okay." I nodded my head. "You like it here?"
"Very...homey," the blond guy replied. "If that's even a word."
"How did you find this place?" the other guy shot back at me.
"Uh, I go here almost every week. I live by here, that's why." I shrugged.
He gave me an odd look. "You...live by here?"
"Yea." I frowned a bit. "You have a problem with that?"
"No, it's just that there's nothing here." He shook his head.
"That's true. But what's your name?" I took a sip.
"Toosk."
I made the motion to finish his name.
"Mjalmersson," he finished.
I shot him an odd look. "You have an interesting name, no offence."
"I'm Finnish." Toosk took a gulp from his mug and pointed to his friend. "He's Finnish as well."
"Ah, okay." I turned to the blond guy. "And what's your name?"
"Wayne Brooks."
I tiled my head to aside. "Doesn't found Finnish..."
"My dad's American, that's why," he explained.
I nodded my head. "Okay."
Then there was silence, so we drank our drinks without talking.
Toosk though began to talk to Wayne quietly.
"You sure?" Wayne made a weird look at him.
"Yea. Let's just try it..."
I rose an eyebrow, making a 'what-are-you-talking-about-?' look.
Toosk turned to me. "Can you check this out?" He pulled out something from his pocket and slid it to me.
I slapped it on the table, stopping it from going over the edge; I held it up to my view. It was a small, silver blade. "This is really nice. Where did you get this from?"
Toosk made a worried look. "Uhhh..."
Suddenly, I felt a vibration tingling my fingers. "AHH!" I dropped it full of surprise, making it clattering onto the table top.
"What's up?" He reached over and pulled the blade back to him.
"I just felt something--"
"Vibrations?" Wayne asked me.
"Yea..." I nodded my head. "Vibrations..."
"Question: Do you have any powers?" Toosk asked me, putting the blade away.
I felt my body melt into nothingness for a moment. "Powers? Supernatural powers?"
He rose his eyebrows. "Yea. Do you?"
My head began to tighten full of worry and embarrassment. Nobody has asked me this question and nobody knows the answer except for me. "Uh...yea..."
Wayne's eyes widened. "Really?"
"Yea..."
I told you, Toosk mouthed to him. He turned to me. "What powers do you have?"
I felt myself sweating. "Oh...my..." I took a long sip and placed my mug on the table with a loud clunk. "Ummm...well..."
"Okay, okay, okay, don't stress yourself here-- Wait, what's your name?" Toosk asks.
"Captain. Captain Holt."
"Yea, Captain, you don't have to."
"Thanks." I smiled a bit.
"But how did you get your powers?"
"How..." I thought for a moment. How? Oh yea... "I got 'em a while ago...like a--"
"Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, let's cut to the chase." Toosk did some motions, motioning me to stop talking. "I should've asked the question differently: Who gave you your powers?"
"Oh, wow..." I leaned back on the wall and rubbed my chin, thinking hard. "This is a good question..."
Toosk bit his lip. "Do you...?"
"I know how he looks like...," I told him.
"How?"
I straightened up. "Blond hair..."
"Kinda spiky?"
"Yes... Pretty tall..."
"Pierre Mustanen--"
I sat up completely straight up and snapped my finger, pointing at him. "That's him. That's his name."
Wayne looked at Toosk. "We came here for a reason..." he whispered to him.
"Oh yes." He nodded his head. "Do you know where he's at?"
My eyes widened. "Do you think I know where he's at?!"
"Well...we have no idea wether he's alive or not," Toosk started. "He used to live on an island, but then it just, I dunno, it just exploded, and we don't know where he's at."
"Huh. Interesting." I furrowed my eyebrows. "But that still doesn't help me know where he would be at."
Wayne took over the conversation. "He was in a huge, white building, full of people..."
His voice faded as I thought about the loud neighbors I just confronted. They were brand new in the forest, very unexpected; they were next to a white building, a huge building...
"A huge, white building you said?" I asked.
"Yea," Wayne answered.
"I think I know where he's at, in that case..."
"Really?" Toosk asked me with an excited look.
"Yup. Come on." I got up, placing the mug on the table. "I'll take you to the building."
