Epilogue
Skyla
I was actually happy for once, embracing what I should have a long time ago.
Without Eric and Ryic's help, I wouldn't met Hiccup, or experienced love in the first place.
I guess that you can say that things aren't always appear to be.
This journey taught me that Love is the most powerful magic of all, and I knew it was the right decision of becoming a dragon.
I looked nervous as the Ceremony of Right of Passage was about to begin.
From this day marks that I wouldn't be a girl anymore, but a woman.
Ryic
I looked at my sister with pride in my eyes. She did grown a lot since the journey with Hiccup.
She has wisdom beyond I ever imagined.
"Skyla, I'm very proud of you." I said, as the dragon spots me.
"Ryic, what you doing here?" She asks, seems surprised to see me.
"I couldn't pass my own sister's Ceremony of Right of Passage, could I?" I smirked at the dragon.
The music begins to play as the dragon took a deep breath of air before walking in pride, towards the mural of our Ancestors.
Skyla
As I walked, I saw Hiccup. He seems so excited that I will be in his life now.
Eric beams at me as he ruffles my head as I let him put paint on my paw and mark my paw print on the wall.
As the celebrations continue throughout the night, Hiccup and I sat on the edge of my village.
Eric looks at me.
"So, I guess you're both leaving aren't you?" He asks.
I nodded in agreement as I knew that we have our own ways now, and I have to raise Hiccup and live with the other dragons.
Hiccup looks at me and asks, "Sky, are you really considering on leaving your village? I mean, you basically were born and lived here your whole life."
"Hiccup, I couldn't bear of leaving you. Besides, you are my brother now.
It's time I take on the responsibility of raising you, besides imagine of how fun we're going to have together!"
He smiles as I look at Eric for the last time.
He knew it was the best.
We embraced in a hug, symbolizing that it would be our last moment as a family.
It took me a while, but I guess that being a dragon does change the person's perspective.
You just have to look through another's eyes.
Eric nods, as I begin to open my wings to fly.
Hiccup follows me as we begin to look towards the unknown.
